I just checked my veg down in the cellar and it wasn't too bad, 55 F on the floor and 75 on the ceiling. The air down there is moving around but I still have the big gap between the floor and the ceiling. Was supposed to setup another 600 down there with a 6" fan yesterday but I really wanted to finish taking down that chem. I don't have the space to hang it whole as I would prefer so I had to do it branch by branch.
The chem was day 66 of 12/12 yesterday and though still alive I could tell it didn't want to go much further. The branches were super soft and she wasn't drinking at all. Being about the slowest trimmer I know it took me a few days to string up the whole thing. Now I can finally clean the room out and wash the rez.
This ph doser was just about the best thing I've ever bought, esp for going away for a week or so, which I fully intend to do once this room is set.:)
I threw in this sour d on Dec 1st, letting it grow "au naturale", no cutting back, no nets. Still haven't set the lamps up properly but there's a bare 1000 hps facing into the room. There's a cheese to the left of it and some valley BX3 clones in the front. This 4x8 space is just for screwing around.

I don't know why anyone would subject themselves to that unless there was money on the line.

The snow on this side of the bay was pretty mild but the wind put the power out twice during my lights on today, I had almost found the flashlight when it popped back on tonight.
That one had me scared. My sour dubb was on the line for just 2-1/2 days and I paper bagged it. 28-30% humidity here and it smoked Alright already. My flowers like the temps but veg is chilly.

Ive got the Sour Dubb goin over here too Bro! Getting ready to throw her into bud. Wonderful terps! Props to Grey Skull in Maui! And a thanks to Josie for the cut!

Went out driving around yesterday afternoon surveying the damage from the high water event. There were 3' thick icebergs in the road on roads that never even see water. My wife's family just closed on a waterfront house down the street that her grandfather had built in the 60's. Took forever to sell the place due to complications from the conservation dept. Long story short, the water came up around the house, ripped off the propane tank, demo'd the seawall and left the place covered in big icebergs.
I know people have tornadoes, massive fires, earthquakes all that etc but not much ever happens around here. It's about the safest place in the lower 48 but this super cold and crazy water is highly unusual and it's had me running around 24/7 trying to keep my plants alive. So far so good, my 2018 is starting off as well as I could possibly hope.I wish I had a picture...
The Kosher Kush with massive amounts of light is another animal entirely compared to the other 3 runs we've done. This next one is going to turn out excellent.:)
Managed a pic of the Kosher before lights on...she's stacking up so much better this run. The plant's only about 30" tall but it's a good one.

The Nevs Blueberry X Lucy is still holding on but she's ready to collapse under her own weight. Took the pic of the bottom because everyday I go in there's more branches slowly moving down. Hopefully it's dry enough so the bigger parts won't rot but you never know...

Always cool to see plants go nuts when they get the "all you can eat" light treatment. That girl looks great!

PS: Thanks Raho! You are like a Oceanside breath of fresh air. You stand tall Brother.

Thanks Doc.
Hate to see anything derail the killer thread Stardog built here.

Dr P is always a star around here. I certainly wish I could see his back yard in person sometime before they bury me or send me out to sea. Of course I know plenty of superstars in my general locale, that being the whole of the NE. Without them I'd still be hiding in my back shed with 2k and some rock wool.
Just germed some seeds from Bodhi a good friend gave to me. There were 12 seeds in a pack of HAOG x Sunshine Daydream and they all blew out of the shell so fast I was scrambling to prep my rock wool. Today the weather is much warmer so I'll be germing a ton of seeds. I think I'll put them all in a tray slightly tilted with recirculating water running down and around since I'll be traveling a bit in the upcoming weeks. Looking forward to seeing what's left of the Leeward Islands after the hurricanes.:)
Starting to worry about the Nevs/lucy in my back room. I was tying up some of the tops yesterday and found a few that were buried that were much larger than I'd anticipated. It seems no matter how low the RH, some of those giant tops can still be shit on the inside and sometimes a bud in the barn etc, etc...

I'm "California Dreamin'" about once an hour 24/7. Hoping one day I'll make it back there and see some old friends and finally make it back down to see a good friend in Rosarito but when I do have a chance to travel the allure of the "intermountain west" tends to pull me that way.
We finally had a day above freezing which sent me on a tear. Finally scoured the room I had that mystery Chem in and brought up some old classics from my veg room. I have big garbage can I stick the plants in and run them up to the shop. The sour d I brought up was sticking out about 18" so I ran like hell. This D-Kush has been in there for 8 days already. All the plants were sprayed with Regalia and root drenched with the same.
It seems if I root drench with the Regalia once every 10 days if any PM shows up it's a tiny spot that doesn't blow up and I just cut off the offending leaf but so far so good.

This is an Original Glue. If Gorilla Glue had any sense they would realize how many people buy their product just from the name association with cannabis. I know I have and along with too many others to count. Their duct tape is great. It's holding my camera together.
When I added a 315 CMH lamp to my veg everything under it started growing almost out of control and this Glue was one of them. Managed to bring her up without damage. I haven't run one of these in a year at least. She'll always be a classic and she makes great crosses. Zen had some great pics of Mr Frosty (Glue x SFV BX2) on Instagram. His new setup had her blown up like one of G-man's runs.

This room is clean enough for me. I scoured the floors and walls etc but I still haven't set the lamps up. It's a garden not an operating room so there's going to be some messy aspects.
My apologies for the rambling but I was up at midnight checking my climate and no chance of going back to sleep so it's a blessing to be able to come here and pass the time while I'm washing pots in the bath tub. My wife would kill me if she woke up but I know she won't so...here's my sour d, only 80 days to go.:)

I'm always Cali dreamin' too, more in the winter. besides the weed I dream of being healthy enough to get back out there and hang glide again, it's the greatest!
how's the humidity in your flower? I have not had any real trouble out here with the PM like I did back at home.
wanted to try the regalia but I think spraying worm tea is working here for me.
is that sour untopped? you'll be propping floppies soon.

My approach is just preventative right now, just don't want to see that invading my space anymore. Sometimes I slack when it's cold and wear my shoes into the shop, something I wouldn't have done a few years back but I've become somewhat ambivalent about it.
Chunky I can't believe people that hang glide. I know a guy in Telluride who's a mental case and flys all over the place with a smoke trail right into town. When I was a kid I saw a guy lose control at Blacks Beach and go spiraling in crazy circles right into the cliff so that kind of steered me away from trying that. Lots of people hang glide right down the street here in the spring and fall when the winds blow up the dunes. They ride up there for hours in sleeping bags to stay warm. That guy at Blacks though, he never came up.
The sours I'm running un-topped for awhile I want to see what kind of colas I can pull. I have 6 female Sour Nevs F2 clones that I'll flip before I depart. My seed plants from Relentless are on fire now that the weather's changed and I set up an 8" fan on the ceiling pumping warm air onto the floor. 4" RW cubes.

Managed to take a few decent pics of the Nevs Blueberry/Lucy when I closed up yesterday afternoon. It was day 71 of 12/12 and I don't think I'm comfortable letting her go much further. These tops are rock hard and the flowers swell up just like the Lucy mom. I'm super stoked about this thing, call me crazy, but I'm not sure I've ever had such a bulky, loaded up clone. She's out done the mom x10.:)

Started trimming the mystery chem yesterday. I'm kind of high at the moment so everything's ultra positive in my head so bear with me. This time I let her to about 65-67 days of 12/12 and I'm not sure I've run this cut better. There's a pleasant oniony/chemmy/burnt rubber smell that won't rub off my hands.
This last pic of the Nevs Blueberry/Lucy I took before my camera shit the bed. Yesterday was a bit of a clusterf*ck. My wallbanger froze up from a clog in the drain and outside @ 5am it sounded like it was juggling ice cubes outside so I shut her down before I attracted any attention from my friendly neighbor out back. Ended up pouring hot water into the back of the unit and freed it up in the afternoon. I was kind of stressing all day with half my lamps off.:)
One more Nevs/lucy I'm too wound up not to post it. This is what you get I guess when you mess around on your own with making seeds.:tiphat:
