Nevilles Haze X Everything....

Last plant standing in this room. I had this mystery chem with a net over the top but the lowers just blew out from my bare bulbs hanging @ 1 meter. This was an hour ago on day 62 of 12/12. The other side looks the same, a mass of hanging flower clusters. Really should take it today as I'm dying to get in here and rebuild this room while it's still too cold to do much.
Not breaking any records but this is a good chem if you like that sort of thing. Not that I don't like it but it's a hammer on the head.:)

I don't know man, your Fancy New One sure looks a lot like the 91 Sk VA

Mystery Chem was a cut labeled Chem 91. I smell ChemD early on and then diesel and burnt rubber. Up close you can see some differences from the 91. My guess is D x 91.

No it came from the NE but exactly where I don't know. Everything that came in that load of cuts was labeled perfectly and in stellar condition. They all were as labeled as well but I passed the Mystery Chem to some other guys locally who told me it was not the 91'. Personally I wouldn't know the 91' from a hole in the wall so I needed another opinion. Either way it's a great chem cut whatever it may be, to my nose and head it's all chem, no OG in there at all. I just grow the shit!:) I'm not so good at making Id's but I can roll a joint on a windy chairlift @ -10F.

Stardog...Zoolander made beans, Chem D x NL. The Chem D turned out to be Chem Sis.

Those Sis x NL seeds produced a wicked nasty chem pheno, while I lived in Michigan, that I passed out to no less than 20 people. It vanished. I'd love to find that cut again if it still lives. Every time I hear "mystery chem" my heart skips a beat.

This cut smelled EXACTLY like the nasty chemical funk that was released when you unrolled blue foam carpet underlay. Well, that and skunk butt funk. Miss that cut. This was from her seed run. I got an outdoor run with her and she was even better. I passed her out and never saw her again.

In the top 5 most potent I've ever smoked, without question. Would make your knees buckle if you held her smoke a couple seconds. Sigh. The ones that get away.

Got her looking great Gman! Looks like a completely different plant than mine under the cmh. Didn't get all knobby like that for me. What are you flowering with?

Tried to take a picture of the Kosher Kush but for the life of me I couldn't take a good one. It doesn't look like anything that special, even the best one's I've seen from the 3 small harvests so far, my one and my friends two but the smell, taste and high are just excellent. I wouldn't take it out with me if I didn't want some sideways glances. Looks just like mids...:)

Promised myself I wouldn't let anymore "big one's" get away so I took cuts from all my seed plants and brought them over to my friends place where it's warmer and stuck them in the cloner. I lost some great plants in 2017, a few re-veg fails and labeling with a shitty permanent marker. My Sour Nevils F2's just grew too big for my veg so I turned them all into clones. The fans were as big as basketballs and were taking over my space.
There's a monster storm coming...again, so I'm hoping I don't lose power. This room in the back of my shop can be pretty cold at night. It's been down in the mid 40's F regularly since X-mas. I can't help myself here by posting this pic @ day 64, yesterday afternoon. Once this storm passes it's going to go below 0 F so if I lose power at the wrong time I may have to wrap this up.
I have a generator but in 10 yrs I've never needed it and now it doesn't run, mice live in it and the fuel is 6 yrs old...:)

Well, that answers that :D

That 6 year old gas is probably better than the shit they sell now at the station.
Alcohol in the fuel tears up the fuel lines, gaskets, etc. and it goes bad FAST.
Had a brand new mower shit the bed last summer after 6 months because the fuel destroyed the carburator.
Small engine place told me that you can't leave the new fuel in a machine for more than a week and can't use the BS fuel if it's more than 6 WEEKS old.
They said ethanol free fuel only is the way to go.
Ugh.

That blue nev freak is stackin up nice :tiphat:
what a monster!

Could it be from one of Melty's LIOS crosses - Like Stardawg x LIOS Bx1? Has a similar calyx structure to the ME SS cross, although, I would have assumed the bubbly nature was from the skunk, not the other way around, but still. Just throwing out random guesses at this point. :joint:

Does the stem grow with a heavy zig zag "Z" between internodes?

No, the stems are more or less straight branches and it looks like a "normal" plant until it's loaded with flowers and collapses under it's own weight. This last one I did about everything I could to keep it upright, net over the top and down one side, ties on most every branch but she still just ended up looking like a giant pile of buds after a good hard rain. When I think of a zig zag branch I think about the Apollo 11. That one's a zigger/zagger...:) Another good one I lost but there's so much great seed stock coming out a good grower/toker can find a great plant a bit easier than say 10 yrs ago.
Made it through the "Bombie" storm unscathed although I can't say that for the waterfronts. We had the highest water since the ol' blizzard of 77 or 78. The water and icebergs took out the piers, parking lots, beaches, houses you name it. It was something to see. I took my camera out but there was so much sand flying I could barely get out of the vehicle. Lemme see if I took any decent pics. The water came over the barrier beach and pretty much swamped the whole area south of me.

This is the Atlantic side about 2-3 hours after high water. The first few hundred yards out was a massive river heading south along the beach. With the sand blowing it was near impossible to stand at the edge of the cliff. I've seen more Nor'easters than I could count but the way the water was moving and the sheer volume of water running along the beach was intense.

What's the right smoke to enjoy a storm like that?
Looks like a helluva show ;-)
I'm guessing something hazy . . .

Anything!! Those damned storms are stressful. Right now it's 9 F and blowing 65 knts gusts to 70. The other day was nothing compared to tonight. I just checked my shop and the back room was 41 F but the thermometer's on the back wall where it's the coldest. I woke up freezing around 12:30, threw my clothes on and ran out there. Doesn't go much colder than this. Up until last year I hadn't seen the temps go below 8 in the 22 yrs I've lived here but it's the wind that's crazy. My house is as old as the civil war and I'm not much on home improvement so there's a few cracks, here, there and everywhere.
Finally managed to take down the whole chem yesterday. It filled two 10' lines but it wasn't all big tops by a long shot. The "I don't know" plant came out pretty nice as well but I didn't finish that, I had to stop and run around chopping wood like a mental case. All big cedar rounds with knots all over. I'm afraid to even check my veg room with this wind railing. I just watered it yesterday and threw the blankets over the door and ran.
I guess I just like to blab to the computer. I keep fairly substantial journals but I never go back and read them unless I need to see when I changed a bulb or check dates I flipped certain plants. I'm sure everybody in the NE is feeling the same blast. I really should have been a carpenter...:) It must be lovely up in Vt or Maine, geez.

The snow on this side of the bay was pretty mild but the wind put the power out twice during my lights on today, I had almost found the flashlight when it popped back on tonight.
That one had me scared. My sour dubb was on the line for just 2-1/2 days and I paper bagged it. 28-30% humidity here and it smoked Alright already. My flowers like the temps but veg is chilly.
