I have 2 cheese cuts going, one was a mother and the other, this one is a clone from that mother, both are jammed with flowers and she appears to be a faster finisher than the rest, more in line with the Orange Kush unit.

Hoping to find enough pollen this morning to make a few seeds on this plant. I can't tell yet if the sour I hit with the few grains I found had taken. It'll work out I'm sure one of the males I have will do something!

Well I managed to find some pollen on the branches I stuck into a cup of water. I would guess that one of 10 flowers had pollen so I had enough to dust 2 branches of my big Lucy. Now I'll have to wait and see if it was viable. I couldn't reach my sours without moving a bunch of plants so I opted to just hit the Lucy as she never fails as far as her offspring are concerned.
Oh yes Scrappy the cheese that I have is a really good plant, super smelly, great yields, clones like butter etc. My nose has been a bit "off" since I've been trimming chem for a month or so, at one point I thought the flowers had lost any smell at all due to the musty conditions outside etc. My dehum's been running 24/7 so my shop hasn't been over 60% RH that I know of. Anyway, the chem is a smelly as ever, I think I was trying to hard, once it goes into a vac seal and you open it the smell is like a punch in the face.
The one Nevs Blueberry x Lucy I have outside the one room is a near replica of the Lucy mother but the smell is more a mix of OG's. I knocked her over a few times but she's holding her own. I'll try and grab a pic before the lights come on...:)

The only thing honestly that keeps the lights on here is screwing off with seeds or running some different cuts people bring me etc. I could fill my rooms with Lucy every run and I'd have to buy a safe and bury it but I feel like I'm not that guy. I'm certainly not turning the world upside down with incredible new varieties but I am keeping myself entertained, albeit with an occasional dinner of ramen noodles...
So the Lucy offspring have always been great plants where her sister did not have the same effect. So if those valley BX's took on the Lucy I should have some interesting plants in my future. This one had a ton of light early on and then was buried by all the others in the room so she lived in a shaded world for bit. Now that she's in a super bright spot she's turning on. It's only day 38 of 12/12 and she's had some setbacks, her sister is gigantic in the back of my other room but she was also mostly buried by that damned Orange Kush. Anyway, I'll go on and on until you want to use the ignore feature...:)

My rockwool tray "experiment" is looking nice, esp at night. 50% D-Kush and 50% sour d. Waiting on the weather to really turn up the lamps, it seems like the whole area is rotting outdoors, you can smell it.

Thanks for the info guys, I actually just popped seeds of a d-kush cross just a harvest or two ago without even knowing . Motorbreath15 x (chemd x sfvbx2) they came out heavy on the d side with more stretch. Had no idea d-kush was chemd x sfvbx2 by karma would thought that be a Rez strain all day.

You're not wrong about it being a rez strain, he made the same type of ChemD x OG cross but used the actual SFV cut instead of Capt's Bx2. Gman is running a cut from that line right now, San-D OG it's called. Half sister to the SFV Sour line.

Speaking of half sisters, D-Kush is a half sister to Lucy, so the whole family has it going on. Papa was a rolling stone.

Hey Stardog,

I have some of your Sour BX2 running in the tent at the moment. I remember you had pretty much all male plants from those but figured I would roll the dice and see what pops up. Did you ever find a lady out of those? I might just say fk it and chuck a bit of pollen if no Sour girls arrive at the shindig.

Take it easy, Bob

Oh yeah Bob I did find a female but it took a whole lot of my time and honestly I wouldn't run those because I'm afraid any of the pollen might be of not so sound makeup. I have no idea why, every other cut I've gone past BX1 with had no issues, my Valley BX3's are awesome. The female I did find was a gigantic beast, I have a picture I'll post here. This thing was mental in the sheer mass of flowers, I think it had over 60 oz's but the product was meh, it wasn't the worst and it was certainly not the best.
I'm happy to see you come by Bob, stoked!!:tiphat:

Here's the only shot I have of the one female from 50 seeds of the sour bx2. I know it's hard to believe those kinds of numbers but I know Satty had the same experience and one other guy I know from around here so it wasn't just some fluke of an issue in my shop etc. I know I've posted this before but it was a freak! She had shoe sized colas all the way to the floor but I tossed the clones I had after I smoked on her for a bit. This is what happens when you mess around with Mother Nature...:)

Cool maybe I need to hold off on those a bit. You also sent a few Sour BX1 x Sour BX1 would these be better to run than the straight BX2?

I still have some of your SFV BX1 I was hoping to cross to Buckets WOX. If the Sour stuff didn't come out as expected maybe I will just play with the SFV stuff.

Great to hear from you man! Looks like your rooms are still kicking ass as usual.

Hey Bob,

The SFV Bx produced a very nice pheno from the 1 seed I ran last year.
Thinking about it makes me want to pop some more of them :p

Think I still have a few grams in a jar somewhere, will share some pics tonight if I can find it.
