Nevilles Haze X Everything....

Can't say enough about how stoked I am that I finally made a diesel hybrid that came out like I'd hoped. There's been some others that were good and had some great plants but this one is by far the best yet. So many mixed results and thrown away plants in the past 10 yrs, I'm hoping to capitalize on this and move forward, not that I'll be getting rich or anything but my seed stock will be banging if the BX3 crosses come out near as well.
The Nevs Blueberry hybrids have crazy vigor and I'm very positive about how they'll come out. So far I've seen the mother dominate the flowers and finish times and the father add the meaty structure and throw some bump into the overall strength, at least from the test buds I cut early.:)

Just went out and took some pics of the Sour x SFV Bx2's. I wanted to have some so I could see the difference when I try and replicate this batch with the SFV BX3's I have vegging. I'm sure they'll be a bit different but I've seen the BX3's and they looked great. Every one of these 4 females came out nice, in other words, they smell like crazy and the first one I cut 10 days back smokes fabulous.
I had a 1000 w hps over head that was too hot for the room when it was full of other plants and lamps but I turned it back on when I cut the others and it really helped fill these out. 4 plants in one 6" wide rockwool slab.:)

Beasty!

Is the drain line on that mini-split pinched?

Oh yeah for sure! It shows in the one above via the odor but not the flower style. I have about 4 different female clones and 2 of the moms I vegged out over the summer of the Nevs Blueberry x Lucy so I'm looking forward to flipping those as soon as I can clear my room of the diesel crosses.

Been watin to see those Blue Nev Lucy's.
Terps should be wicked!

Great work this summer amigo:tiphat:

Oooo-Oooo! :) That flower structure reminds me of the Nev21xEmm and the leaves look like the BlueNL dad.

Your Sour Nev BX grape keeper really shines through on the other one dontcha think?

how you doing Raho :tiphat:. Are you still running nev21 x Emm? i still got a bunch of those beans ( newer and older nevil seeds ) ,i might start running some of them again.

That sounds promising! Definitely breeding stock, I'd run them if I had em. My rooms are dark right now. Cuts gone. Hoping for a reset one of these days.
The Emm was some sort of Mullum hybrid according to Bushy back in the day.
50% MM, 50% unknown Mullumbimby early sativa clone
They had quite a bit of mixed genetics in the seedstock they played with doing those selections.
Sure was a beautiful plant.

It is really like a mild SE Asian influence when combined with the dominant force of Nev's selected keeper #21. You see it in the flower clusters, calyx size, leaves and smell, making the Nev's smell more thai-like.

I'd run as many of them as you can to do a selection. Bound to be some interesting phenos from that cross. The Nev21 was supposed to be a real hammer.

The insulation on the drain line is pinched a bit but it's not restricting the flow though. That line and my pond liner both drain out into my backyard right to the root base of my hops. Now my hops plants are more like hops trees, they're taking over my backyard and they're starting to load up with smelly flowers...:)
That Nevs 21 x E Mullum is what's in my Nevs Blueberry, the beast genes, I love that gear either on it's own or in a hybrid. My SFV Bx's have the MS5 as a father for the original cross to the SFV. Makes for some giants although the SFV shows more as I BX more but the infrastructure is still there. The BX3's I have in my basement are about to raise the roof. Hoping to have them out of there today and pollinate and entire sour d with 3 of the males.
The Nevs Blueberry x Lucy's are in hugo blocks right now and headed for 12" wide slabs today. I have 12 slabs to fill so it's going to be a busy one...:tiphat: Still not sure if I should BX to the Lucy or just go inline. I did much better inlining the Sour Nevs than I did BX'ing back to the sour but the Lucy is a whole different animal.
I've been smoking SFV for weeks and I swear I just never tire of rolling one of those up every morning There's a good reason people go for the nice OG's first, I've always hated running with the crowds but on this one I'm with the pack...

I can't think of a better plant to use as an outcross partner with SFV than the MS5 for structure (often a weak point with OGs).
The strength of those branches is just Jurassic.

As far as BX or IX on the Blue Lu 21, the safe answer is both, but you really need to smoke flowers first to see what you've got. Course you know that already.
If it had to be one or the other, I'd let the terps tell me what to do.
If you think the 21blue created some magic, BX would dilute that, so IX.
If you think the value of the cross is more in structural changes to the Lucy, BX.

Perhaps I'll try both and see what comes of it because unless I want to keep these males around indefinately, I could pollinate the Lucy and a few of the females I have at the same time. It would be hard for me to think I could improve on the Lucy, she's just how she should be or rather how I like her but I love messing around with different variations, hell it's about the only thing that keeps me interested.
I vegged out an Orange Kush for more or less the whole summer and I finally managed to move her into the flower room yesterday. That was a job, believe it!:) Having flipped them at 2' and bushy I know they'll end up to be 4-5' and massive so this one is 4' solid already so I'm going to have my hands full but it should be entertaining. I have a pic of it just after I set it down in the flower room here. I've either made the greatest choice of my carreer or the worst. She'll go into a 10 gal pot, 50/50 rock/coco this morning.

Entertainment, you can't beat it. When I had to move all kinds of misc BS to bring in the Orange unit I had to pull the big T5 rack from the front of my 3x3 closet and grabbed a few decent pics of the Sour Grape x Nevs Blueberry. I've been watching these branches thicken up like crazy over the last 10 days and I wanted to see if I could take a decent shot of the chunky clusters along the branches, from the main stem to the end.
Just threw the last of the 3 females of this cross into flower with the Orange. The clones rooted in my cloner within 5-6 days so I'm pretty stoked and hoping that this one will be the best of the three but even if it's just as good I'll be real happy. It seems when there's Nevs in the bloodline the plants clone fast. The top of a side branch here and the chunks below it after...:tiphat:

All this gear I have, all the crosses, the clones, seeds etc couldn't have been done without my joining this site so long ago. I can't count how many people have helped me along the way to bring the fire down on myself and pass it on to others when they come by my place.:)

Excited to see what types of plants your SFV projects breed. Mixing different strains (or the thought of it) is one of the most fascinating aspects of this hobby for myself as well. What type of hops plant do you have growing? I was researching them in the spring but never ended up buying one.

That Orange Kush is some FANTASTIC smoke. super smooth and flavorful, potent relaxing high but not to the level of couchlock. Perfect for an outdoor walk, bbq, or fishing trip.

Well grown Stardog, they look like what i imagine thai sticks were like.

Sharing is the way brother. Thanks for walking the talk.

Those "People Under The Stairs" seeds on the bay were awesome. Growers all over the world are running your Sour Nev lines and others as we speak. Many keepers found.
Putting reliable fire genetics in people's hands is a great way to make friends :)

I wish more people that got those beans would post pics in this thread of their grows. Bet that would make you feel pretty damn good.

Finally started to flip a few of the Nevs Blueberry x Lucy's. I took cuts from the bigger males and females and flipped the smaller, floppier ones that were more manageable. There's one behind this one, nearly identical in a 4' slab 12" wide with the last female of the Nevs Blueberry x Sour Grape. I ended up taking down the grape cross above as she was starting to throw nanners up on the tops where the light is brightest, the grape mom would do the same thing when she was close to finishing. All is well however and I'm hoping the third one comes out as well as the first two.:)

My Chem 91' unit really ended up past my control when I really threw the lights on her. The flower clusters are much bigger and I can barely keep her upright no matter what I do...I knew I should have thrown a net on her but I think she'll be fine. I've still been trimming the last one I ran and I swear nothing sticks up my scissors more than this thing and the smell is almost unbearable.:tiphat:

Nevs blueberry x Lucy sounds really interesting can't wait to see how they grow. anything you haven't hit up to the nev? Killer work as always, stardog. I've always been envious of how you make and actually grow seeds out.

Too many to count! I still haven't hit the SFV which I'd love to do, was thinking about using one of the Nevs Blue/Lucy males on that one just for kicks. I've had a hell of a load of failures making seeds but sometimes I end up lucky but even the fails count as input for the future like never cross a sour d to anything not skunky or OG-ish, at least so far for me. She went well with the original Nevils but it needed some work.
We all know how running the same clones all the time goes, esp if you're not a money guy. I have friends who only think about money when they grow, you would have to threaten them with a weapon to make them take a chance on a seed. They're also not the geek squad with an actual interest in cannabis where money is merely a by-product. They never read a book or search a method, they just call me and waste my time, I mean they are my friends but we just do things differently. They make much more than I do!!:):) I'll be growing until my clock runs out, guaranteed...
Trimming drives me nuts, just like the rest of us, hence the essay, I need a break for a good 10 min. Here's a bad pic of my last Sour Grape cross 5 days in from a 60 day veg. I had her in slow mode so she wouldn't overgrow my space and she's top heavy but she's mine...;-)

I'm not against making money either, trust me, but when the former sheriff of the county is opening a dispo up the road he has one thing on his mind and it's not quality, it's dollar signs. Whatadick, right?? Just had to put that out there being a retired commercial guy myself who never saved a cent but had a hell of time along the way, now all of a sudden I'm almost old, fuck me! Keep on growing and they will come.:tiphat:

I feel ya on the trimming star dog. I go bananas trimming for ten 14 hour days. It always takes me a few days to come out of that madness.

I do four 1k lights for production but I also don't really worry if it's a yielder as long as the smoke is good. I also make it a point to pop at least 3 seeds per run....never know what your gonna find! Plus variety is the spice of life :)
