well damn. the other nature lovers thread in the og refugee area is now locked.
really??! why is that? the more the better, aint it? maybe the mods got confused by 2 threads with the same name :D They could've combined both of them and make one common Nature Lovers' Thread :/

Indicas in the mist...

I had to relocate these guys to a raspberry plant nearby because they tie leaves together with silk to create a cocoon that will protect their eggs... Very anxious and protective..

Yea well thats what happens to them living in the burbs, down the street from me on a major non highway there was a turkey just siting in the road once holding up traffic and looking around at all the cars in amazement lol. When I see them in a more rural setting they all run or fly up to the trees if theyre yearlings. 3-4 feet was as close as that one let me get though, then it jumped rathar akwardly down to the driveway taking the empty planter you see it on with it into the tigerlillies below lol.

Just goes to show, somtimes nature happens in your own back yard, dont have to go to the rain forest to see it!

Nexus that is some sunset.. :joint:

Excellent stuff everyone.

User Name, what is the name of that blue bird in the middle?

And is that a lemur or something in your last picture Deft?

Here are few more that I found when I went through my pictures.

The place where I grow is far far out in the sticks.

I like this one because it looks like the flower is hovering in midair.

Butterfly camo

Homegrown apples... Sweet & Tasty

Take care

soul, that sunset is beautiful man, what a great photo. :D:yes:

now that you ask, i've always thought those were blue jay's, but now that i've attempted to ID the bird, it's definitely not a blue jay. i'll get back to you once i figure it out............

EDIT: it's a Steller's Jay
