My second grow - Northern Lights from nirvana

I've been drying for four days now, in a few days I'll either be moving the buds into brown paper bags for a couple of days, or straight into jars for curing.

Yes a radio shark special. I was absolutely blown away looking at the glands. Although it is a cheap scope, it does pull it up just like you see in the books. A variety of glands, most are clear. Rows and rows of trees under the scope.

I am on Day 50. Maybe one more nuet and then water on out.

Sounds good. Yeah, I also have that black ten dollar radio shack 'scope, and I too was blown away when I checked the trichs for the first time. I wish it was slightly weaker though, the radio shack scope goes from 60x-100x I believe, and I never ever put it past 60X, I wish it went from 30x-60x instead. Other than that, it's a good, cheap scope.

Let me know which way you go. I have done both ways. I am not sure which I prefer yet

What is the next grow going to be??

I put the buds in brown paper bags last night, because I was afraid that they were drying up too quickly, and I'm not looking for brittle weed. I'll be moving the buds into jars in the next day or two I imagine.

I'm not 100% sure about my next grow yet, I still have to figure out if I'll be going away for the holidays or not, because nobody can tend to the grow if I do go away for some days. Hopefully I'll start another diary sometime soon. In the meantime, I'll just relax with my current stash.

When you said that you put yours right in the jars, do you mean, immediately after harvest, or after they have dried for some days first ? If you put them right into the jars, has there ever been any mold problem ?

Good luck with your grows also, you're right back in the swing of things, hopefully I will start up another one soon also.

Whoa looking good. This is all nostalgic. The first seeds I ever threw down were Norther Lights from Nirvana. I only had 2 sprouts out of 10 seeds that rooted, but they had to be thrown out later. I ended up growing AK-48 for my first grow, but NL was always on my mind. Watching this grow takes that feeling away. Good job so far and keep up the good work!

i'm on day 19 0f flower currently and i wish they would hurry up and start showing bigger buds! haha, i know its impatience... but damn, looks like my buds are just as slow to expand as yours
