I remember whilst going thru my divorce a friend and her husband wanted to go out as a couple with a gal I knew .We were all friends ,she was divorced ,had liked me a while before.
She was all happy to go out and happy it was me.
I was going thru the thick of a divorce and my heart wasnt into going out at that time.
I cancelled ,my friends wife was sad and had said she even had her kids stay at her mothers for the night.
Im not sayin Im a casanova but I knew ,we knew each other for years and we ,if we had gone out would have spent the night together. We werent kids, but my heart was still not all there.
My friends wife calls me 3 months later .The girl had aids
they traced it to her having a child out west somewhere and she needed blood and it had aids.
She died a year later.
The lord works in mysterious ways

Hurry up and wait!!! Yesterday Mrs Pute went to pick up the gun I got her for Christmas......Nope...after she passed the background test we were told that there was a 72 hr waiting period. Well with New Years it turns out to be a whole week. That sucked.....

Today, after waiting 3 weeks after cataract surgery I went in to have my eyes checked and fitted for my new glasses. Everything was going well until the very end when they said it would be 3 weeks to get the new pair back from the lab. WHAT? ...... Seems that the lab is shut down all of next week.

So, 6 fargin weeks to get glasses after surgery!!!!! I might not live that long. I guess that is why they get all the $$$ up front. In case ot some unexpected death on my part.

What has this world come to....

They better have a picture of the driver. Or else they legally can’t enforce it. You can’t give someone a citation if you can’t even prove it was them.
That brings up a funny Family story: I went to get new license plates... and the MV Dept said,

"Nope. Not until you pay your ticket." <-- They showed a photo-ticket with my car zooming too fast on a street in Daytona Beach.

I looked at the date on the ticket, and realized I had been in an electric wheelchair when the "crime" was committed, and wrote a total nastygram** to the MV Dept asking HTF I could possibly have been a hundred miles away while I was stuck with two fingers operating my electric chair (my pic shown in the nastygram).

** It wasn't obscene so much as extremely forceful, and I used a good portion of my not-shy vocabulary.

I got an apology letter, and my license plates.

THEN I found out Scooter had borrowed my car that day to attend some medical convention... (*snork*)

That's far out. Not sure if that's good...shouldn't a doctor do it? I asked my doctor for a test before. Negative. Take that hookers! Dirtballs.
When I was septic my doctor wanted me to go in the hospital for a blood transfusion. I told him no but then he said if the next antibiotic doesn't work you will have to go in for a blood transfusion or die.
I'm really glad I didn't because at that time many people were getting aids and hepatitis from blood transfusions, unknowingly.
I've been hospitalized for hepatitis. Jump ahead decades and my family doctor had me tested for several kinds of hepatitis. I had markers for 3 different hepatitis.
A woman I knew(registered nurse) who died from hepC fixed a wound I had on my knee from a very sharp limbing axe. She used her razor to shave around my wound before cleaning and disinfecting and applying second skin. I didn't have time to go for stitches. By using her razor on me I picked up the markers for Hep C
but not the actual disease. Lucky me.

No AIDS in the 60s.
Tell that to the family of Robert L. Rayford. <-- Died 1969

New York City Statistics:

54
cumulative AIDS diagnoses

~15 deaths

It really took off in the '70s and 80's. The problem was exacerbated in great measure by the use of contaminated blood (eg: not tested for the AIDS virus) being distributed to patients.

If you were a GI in the grass and you suddenly are a quart low getting carried into an aid (HAH!) station leaking profusely, you get to spin the Russian Roulette revolver on the blood that got donated and they are pumping into you.

"No AIDS in the 60s."
If aids is from homosexuals why hasn't it been around forever like homosexuals have been?
Why did it start in Africa?
AIDS developed in Africa. Somehow, it got from monkeys to humans over there. <-- Wait: It coulda been a monkey bite (a real one, not a horny teenager one).

Back then, queers did not parade naked in the streets to music like they do today. So it was a very closed social group. This resulted in a LOT of male-to-male intimacy.

And it spread like mad in this homosexual underground: Any link to any link -- BOOM.
