My intro and bona fides...

My second cultivar that seemed promising is Old Goblin. This is a cross of Goblin Queen and has the same grape soda smell as her mother. For that only she was worth a run under my 1000W MH. It turns out she is a real stretcher and is almost too tall for my flower area.

My third and last cultivar is Purple Star. She comes from a crossing of Neon Purps. She carries the purple flowers of her mother and is the reason I'm running her. Not to sure of the quality because it was not quite there growing under T5s. She also is having some difficulties with my growing environment and technique. She isn't as pretty as the first two.

I was cleaning up flower area 2 today and staking some of the buds that were getting heavy. I thought I would take some pictures of the ladies in flower area 2. These were flipped to 11 on and 13 off on August 2. They are filling in nicely.

Whats the deal on the PS leafs? Other 2 grow that way? I had a devil cream grow a bit that way last year but was never sure if it was a pheno thing or was it a growers defect..

Stop by sometime and see my trees. Pulling 1lb plants fairly easily despite the odd hiccup.

I have no idea why my leaving are clawing but I've seen this on some cultivars before. It doesn't seem to bother them as far as growing so I'm not going to worry about it. All my ladies are in the same soil, getting watered at the same time. It's probably pheno related but I'm not sure.

I took down one of the Goblin Girls today. I was checking the trichomes and saw some amber ones. I still have 2 3Ms, The One and another Goblin Girl from my 8 I flipped early indoors. This seems to have worked as expected and they never looked back.

several of my cultivars from you during the spring run had the claw leaf too. Thought it was genetic and environment related. buds seemed unaffected/happy. Cold-moist nights. Dry hot days.\

~`~ you got the blueberry muffin nocturnal correct?

I had 2 sweet Devil Creams last year, one was a green pheno and the other the dark practically black pheno. The black pheno exhibited the claw leaf. It turned out to the be tallest plant and the claw leafs never appeared to be sick or deficient, so I assumed it is a pheno characteristic. But I wasn't sure that it wasn't due to environment or grower - now I think it is just a characteristic based on what you and Hatch are saying.

Honestly I thought the black claw leaf plant was beautiful. Reminded me of something out of a Tim Burton film.

It's been a busy time for me at the moment. I've trimmed up the Gooey and variegated Goblin Girl. This is the last variegated Goblin Girl. She is pretty to watch grow during veg but once she starts to flower those yellow leaves don't produce much bud.

I also transplanted all of the teenagers into 5 gallon pots. My ladies in the flower area are on their last few weeks and these teenagers need to spend so time in those pots.

This is what they looked like on July 18.

This worked out exactly as I imagined it. I'll do this every summer run from now on.

looks good bud... waitin to hear what she tastes like.

I've grown these ladies before and most of the cultivars I have are that 'skunky' weed taste with the exception of the Goblins and Blueberry. I'm tossing Blueberry with the last one in the teenagers. I'm going to breed her for more seeds before she becomes cellar history.

My Nocturnal isn't the blueberry muffin but the skunky smell. It came from a seed and I wasn't lucky to get one of the fruit smelling phenos.

The clawing doesn't bother me as long as the plant is growing well. I've never had a clawing plant not give me good bud at harvest. So I don't even give it a second thought.

I took these teenagers and put them outdoors in mid-July. I didn't flip them and just let the shorter days bring them to flower. The weather is turning towards fall here so I'm not sure if these ladies will make it but I'm going to let them try. A couple of these haven't been given a name so I'm identifying them with their parentage.

I always thought that clawing was excessive nitrogen and not enough calcium.I think some plants exhibit it and some don't because different cultivars like different things. I've never had though so idk!!
