Last night I showed you the ladies, the older ladies, that I have in my one flower area. I have some younger ladies over in the other flower area that are looking mighty fine. I'm going to start with the youngest. Both of these are 14 days since the flip.

These ladies aren't stretching as much as I thought they would. I may be able to let them veg a little longer and get a little taller the next run. I've got some babies of these that will be ready to flip in 3 months or so. Both of these ladies are growing well under the LST they got. This is a technique that I learned here in the forums. I never discovered this for myself in all those years of growing. At one time I did have a cube structure I built out of 1/2" pvc pipe and would bend the plants onto the cube. I quit using it because I didn't like it. I do like this LST method. But don't worry, tomorrow I will get pictures up of the teenagers.

The next lady is 25 days since the flip. She is the mother of 3M. Well not her specifically but the cultivator that furnished the female genes. She's as green as can be and will stay that way until the end. Who knows where the color comes from. She is from Mexico though but that's all I know about her.

Mildred

This last young lady is 35 days from the flip. She has been treated poorly by me. She is the last of the neglected girls in my cellar. I have a cutting of her but if she doesn't met my quality threshold the clone will never get a chance to grow up. If I do decide to keep her then I'll treat the clone with all the care I usually show to my girls.

I thought I'd get some pictures of the teenagers. These are the next to be flipped once I have room over in the flower areas. I took down 3M this morning and she is hanging in the storage area. So I moved one of the Blue Orcas into the flower area. 3M went 80 days from the flip.

I've got 4 Goblin Girl sisters going so this is pretty much what the rest of the other 3 look like. Again she was tied down with green yarn. You can see how they start filling out the canopy with the lower branches. It's real easy and effective to let mother nature do all the work.

This is the teenager that got put into the flower room shortly after her picture was taken. I've got another one still being a teenager.

Like Blue Orca I have a second one of these with the teenagers. They're ready to be flipped but I have to wait for room in the flower area. The Mazar-I-Shariff x Guerrero will be 8 weeks on December 17 but I think she'll be more like 3M and go at least 10 weeks. Goblin Queen #2 will be 8 weeks on Dec 24 and that's about her normal maturity time. The Cascadian Frost and Goblin Queen #1 will be 8 weeks on Dec 30. It looks like it'll be 3 more weeks before there is room in the flower area. The teenagers TO and BO are not LST'ed but I'll probably have to tie down the tops to keep them out of the lights when they start to stretch. I noticed I slightly burnt the leaves on one of TO. Not much harm to her and she'll be okay.

These girls tested out to be around 22% THC so it will be fun to get them to harvest and try them out.

I moved her into the teenage area this morning.

Gooey

When I went to transplant this girl all the dirt fell away from the roots and I was hoping I didn't loss her. It looks like she'll be okay.

Are you also running Cascadian Frost? I was interested in that one until I heard from a solid source who's been runnin plants a long time that it is very leafy and prone to fungal pathogens...

Awesome updates Pak!!

3Elders are going to be popped in a couple weeks.

Be sure to post me some pictures. I'm very interested in what will come out of those old genetics.

I ran Cascadian Frost outdoors this summer and she never got attacked until the very end when those foggy days came in and she got a little bud rot. So did all the rest of the outdoor ladies this summer. She is a little on the bushy side but she is producing buds too. I've got another of her running indoors and she is into her 5th week since going to 11/13. I didn't LST her so she is growing straight up. The smoke wasn't too bad but I'm not ready to make a call on whether she stays or is worm food.

Nice update Pak.

My granddaughter never wants me to die. If I hit a 100 laps and I'm still growing the herb that will be a successful life ending the best way it could.

Proof that smoking herb elongates life. I can only hope to be as physically active as all you old timers when I reach that age.;)

On Saturday I took down 3M and hung her in my storage area to dry. The drying process is proceeding at the expected pace and that means some of those popcorn buds on the lower branches were dry enough to sample. So I rolled up a joint to test out this lady. Those first two tokes expanded too much in my lungs and I had to cough it out. So on the third one I eased off a little and was able to consume that joint without further coughing spells. When I first finished her I thought this seems okay but not great. I sat down and did some typing on the computer. After 1/2 hour I needed to go spin my girls before the lights went out and realized I have found another keeper. It is some seriously good sativa. Now I'm wondering what might be found in those seeds I breed this summer.

I'm sitting on 2 each of Eminem and MTV that are going into flower. I got the pollen catchers set up on the top of the pots. So I'll be getting some pollen in the next week or so. I've got 2 Blue Orca and The One that will be ready to get pollinated. I'm following SG1's technique for pollination.

I've got clones of Eminem and MTV that I'll keep around. I want to pollinate Gooey and back cross 3M. All of these pollination will be with both males. No open pollination like the summer seed run. This will be targeted.

4Elders would be a good choice too. I'm waiting until March before start a pheno run. I'll need to do this outdoors. I just won't have room in the cellar to do too much. 3M's mother was Mildred and my cultivator on the bubble is Mildred. So I'm curious to see what might be found in Old Goblin and Goblin Septer. Both were better quality than Mildred.

This is what I'm thinking about for building out a pheno hunt area in my cellar. I'm thinking on having 4 sections all with T5s. 1 section for seedlings, another for teenagers and 2 sections for ladies. I won't grow them very big (maybe 3' tall). That way I can hunt through 30 or so a run.

I like that! I've seen a flower room with two t5's but they were installed like this: ^
Created a nice canopy. Mixed spectrum of lights.

Great idea Pak, might just turn all the closets in the house into "pheno-huntin'" pads...3 bedroom, two hallway. Hahaha will find something great somewhere..

It's almost your thread's b-day!!! What kind of cake would it like? I'm a pie guy myself.

I'm a pie guy myself but I do like high end chocolate cakes from excellent bakeries. None of those sheet cakes from Safeway.

I came over to this forum following SG1. I guess that it's about a year now. Time goes by fast when you get to me my age.

It goes fast when one is appreciating all the goodness. I was part of the migration over here as well. Been a long time since I logged into that acct.
