It's 39 1/4" Long x 39 1/4" high x 20" deep.
Built from Veneer core 3/4" Maple Plywood all around even the back, and sprayed primed & painted Benjamin Moore Super White in flat finish.
Mechanical room has a 250 MH/HPS switchable Digital ballast & Vortex 172 CFM hooked up to insulated duct outside of the cabinet and into a
Mountain Air carbon filter.
The vegging room is about 10" wide x 20" deep with a 72 cfm cabinet fan which has speed control on the AC adapter the same fan is in the Flower room. Both rooms have sliding shelves on the floors.
I have (3) 8"x 8" Darkroom Louvers which are light proof (2) on the back walls of both the flower and veg room and (1) between them to allow the Vortex to suck it through the flower and out the back of the cab via mechanical room.

CJ117 I get my soil local and my nutes at the local Hydro. As for the 7.0ph water youll have to check around. I know R/O water has alota stuff removed. Do a search here im sure youll find all kinds of info. I dont keep Mother plants No room here. Sounds like you have things well under control and its gonna workout for ya.

Hey Lifeless I bumped this bad larry cause it inspired my small grow...I have 2 of the rubbermaids going, one for veg/moms and a bloom box. Works great, first run got about 3 zips....a little more dialed in now, should get a couple more out of this run. Never even imagined I could get buds like these with just CFL's. This thread is the reason I got growing again....thanks brother!

I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind. Since I plan on using this set up as a possible grow, I'd like to know how well that carbon scrubber has worked. Smell is definately an issue for me but I don't want the scrubber to take any scent off of the buds, just the scent out of my room. Would it be possible to hook up the carbon scrubber on the oustide of the box, so the buds don't lose their distint smell?. Also, if you have any pictures of the box that you had not uploaded that would be great.

Also, as far as the wattage that was used, how much of a hit did your electricity bill take ?

Hey LifeLess! I have been admiring this thread for quite some time and decided to finally take a shot at something like it.

As of now, I'm just gathering materials, and I picked up (2) 35 gal. Sterilite tubs (Dimensions: 32.5" x 20" x 19") and I picked up about (6) 42w (150w eq.) CFL bulbs.

I found a 3 bulb vanity at Wally World for $10 so I picked up 2 of them.

In this thread, you're using a 4 bulb vanity, and 4 of my same lights, however in another thread https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=69765 you're only using a 3 light vanity.

My question is, with the 35 gal. containers, will only 3 42w CFLs be sufficient? Should I try and find a 4 bulb vanity? I could potentially do 6 bulbs but feel it might be over kill as well as cause more wiring problems (I've never wired anything but an internet connection before, hehe).

Any suggestions? I'm really glad to be starting up with such a great example to follow! Thanks in advance.

First, I want to say thanks for the great thread. Inspired as such, I've built a LL GrowLab, and will be placing some DJ Short's Flo, along with some Sour Diesel.

I'm using two 27 galon 'Toughbox' Rubbermaid containers on eachother, with four 42 watt (actually 3 right now, getting the 4th), and plan to stick pretty close to LifeLess' system.

However, I'm having a bit of troubles with temps. Seems to average about 82, though today I think it hit 89 (I think the blower got turned to a slow setting). Ambient temps range from mid sixties (night), to mid-upper 70s (day).

I am currently using a CoolerMaster Aero blower type fan

My exhaust, which has the Aero blower attached to it, is ~3.5", and I have three 2" passive intakes.

Would an axial comp fan be better for exhaust? I currently don't have any internal air circulation. Should I get a small fan and blow air around in the cab? Also, in terms of light trapping the intake holes, do 90 degree (black) PVC fittings work?

Im on my second run so far. first was a learning exp cause the stretch got me good now ive got even canopy with a lots of lst should double my yield. I ended with 1 zip first run 1 plant. This was the thread that got me going now i do 2 bloom boxes.couple more runs then its off to get some real genetics.

any rubbermaid scrubber pics out there id appreciate it
