Wow. Great all around, the fishing looks amazing.
Could you get a close friend to blaze some up?
Then we could get an idea of the flavours, etc.
Keep it Tangwena, Tangwena.

You take the fan leaves off after they're dry, no?

I'm very excited by my Mulanje x Malawi/Ethiopian and looking forward to cobbing. Last year we kept a little of our harvest back and did it the silly way, in jars, mainly for the children and friends; They'll be none of that nonsense this year!

Having a very pleasant day, 6hrs in to 0,48g of Super Malawi Haze!
I'm still using the vape occasionally, but now go several days without it and am getting higher on less

The people that I introduced to the idea of cobbing on the UK site, are starting to get some fairly mature cobs now and are raving about them. Some are moving over to Ace's genetics too!

@Tangwena , you've got the whole world cobbing! what a claim to fame that is!
Hi my brother I had Mulanje x Malawi/Ethiopian a purple leaning plant yesterday.
Its smell was amazing very sour pine in the chew instant energy injection and euphoric in the extreme.
Turned a windy rainy winters day into an exciting trip anticipating and sorting my gear for my fishing safari in 10 days.

I was champing at the bit and cut the plants without a second thought giving me time to dry them slowly.
What seeds dont fall out during processing will be vac sealed in bags with the buds to be taken with me to process in the dry desert sunshine.
I think you will like the plant you have growing its a real African grass high, early morning chew or you will not sleep ha ha.
Good on you for spreading the word my friend, enjoyers of grass need to know about this traditional technique.
I see so many beautiful buds grown and just cry when they are just dried as is.

Today I am cutting my choice cob pieces for the fishing trip all Mulanje and its crosses, its go go go weed ha ha.

From when I used to smoke its the sort of weed you suck on in a joint but dont light up for a few minutes just enjoying the terps.
Cobbed its in league all of its own and chewed its tripping on THC if you dont smoke at all.
Its the you you would rather be.

Usually the next day or so after they all wilt. I like to keep the sugar leaves on for a bit of salad with the main course ha ha.
Spaced out right now going up way too fast for my own good ha ha.

Today I am testing the taller Mulanje plant from my last grow now aged over 9 months.

When I first tried this after 3 months it was still a bit stony, now as I'm going up FAST ha ha I'm reminded of a David Bowie song Jean Genie where the guys are going out on the town.
Two lines and a handful of blues ha ha. Pure silk, smooth as can be, sliding into a black hole looking for Alice ha ha.

I thought I would post some pics of the buds I cleaned up today, cutting off all the wilted shade leaves and marveling at the yellow stalks of the branches and the purple stalked and leafed buds.
I' going to grow these seeds seedless very soon just to see how fat the buds get.
The aroma is pine, pine and more pine deep and variable with something else a woody dangerous aroma I only find in the most potent Malawi buds.

Congratulations to the well deserved harvest, @Tangwena! Looking stellar all the way. :canabis:

Thank you so much for taking the time to document this epic seed run, in both pictures and words! What a powerhouse pair of phenos for the medicine cabinet, too! And thank you for educating us all, in the first place :trampoline:
Will you consider documenting some of the upcoming seedless run, too?

That's so great to hear, Hombre!
I hope to be reporting the same myself one day soon. Jarring is getting old quickly in my eyes too. Like Tangwena just said, it's truly a waste.
And, thank you too, for spreading the word, I think every cannabis lover deserves to try chewing!

Try and stop me ha ha. Its the only way I can keep records.
When I chew on something potent I can look back and see exactly what I did.
The Mulanje I grew in 2020 had 2 pheno's one Donkey dick and one huge bean stalk cola.
After 9 months cure its hell potent very very energizing and euphoric, now I know which seeds made it and can reproduce that plant again.
The 2 phenos have different characters in the highs both up but def different.

I have 4 separate sets of seeds now I need to follow each to see where they go.
This lot had a lot of purple in the leaves and buds and that must have come from the Malawi Gold pollen I sneezed all over the Mulanje mother ha ha.
But going by the aromas its not a bad thing.
Same old problem no space or time to do everything I want to do. Such is life.

Yesterday I de seeded some cured canary style cured buds of one of the 3 clones buds.
It was still full of seeds from the 3 week cure but only half germinated as the fermentation process doesn't help them stay viable.
Lucky I have hundreds of seeds that fell off each plant after drying and packing that have 100% viability.
Anyway after only 3 weeks curing I decided to chew the de seeded bud very intense taste of pine and menthol.
The high came on very quickly and was very clear I was going crazy working, painted half of my shed ha ha.
My wife commented as to where all the energy was coming from ha ha.
Usually early tastes are stony and disappointing which is what I was expecting.
Having seeds def changed the effects to a more mature high despite being picked early.
Once these are aged by Christmas I am looking forward to some interesting effects (Once the seeds are removed haha)
