gmt - thanks very much. I've decided to be more conservative in feeding on at least the first run of plants, as I've now seen first hand what even a little overferting can do - I'm very happy I didn't super fry 'em! Was just wondering what packn was noting that I was overlooking. Next run I'm going to do another 1-2 tw to try to hone in on a more balanced feeding. I've taken some great notes from your approach - thanks again! Much appreciated  :friends:

sleepy - thanks for your kind support, and your right! I am happy; to be on my first indoor grow, and ecstatic that not only haven't I killed 'em, but they're coming along despite a few bumps along the road.

Thanks men!

It might just be normal for this strain to do that...I've seen others in flower do the same. I was just thinking PK because the way they looked and the plants tend to use alot during flower. No expert opinion here, just an observation. :2cents:

And I appreciate your observations very much packn! I've noticed that at least with the TW if the yellowing from MG deficiency affects most of the leaf, when they green back up they don't green up right out to the edges again.

Question - you gonna take one of those big canes from Queenie and clone her for another run?

sow - thanks for stopping by and the props... I' pretty sure they wisped out from too much N in flower. They haven't spent any time out of the cab except for a flush, and with the light mover they're all getting the same amount of light. Locked myself in the cab to check for light leaks - waited 10 minutes for my eyes to dark adapt - no leaks ( boy that woulda been a Kodak moment for my wife - hubby sent to the cab :biglaugh: ). No prob, I'll let 'em go however they go until they're ready to chop.

Most of the tops on Queens undergrowth have died off from lack of light down there. Sorta got one going from Runt...Just cut two holes in the top of a water jug lid...one for the hose one for the plant..with just filled with tap and a small airstone. White trash beautiful. Unfortunately no root hormone. Gonna see if I can find a clone worth using on Queen, just to see if she would still grow the way she did.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you can get a clone off the Queen. Sounds like nice bud, would love to see you run her again sometime. Yeah - I got a ghetto bubble cloner too - I'll include a pic with my next update.

MGJ I can see a huge difference. They look like they've improved quite a bit. Frosty as always.

I rock the cheapo bubbler too, damn near 100% sucess with it.

Day 42 Flower

Day 42 Flower

First off, packn - major props to your intuition! Many of those leaves today started looking exactly like your K Deficiency... check this out:

I gave them a 500 ppm EJ Bloom drink tonight. Figured start on the low end and give 'em more if they ask. Thanks again for your input!!!

 gog, thanks man! Yes, even the wispiest of them - the left front plant in the pictures below - are starting to plump up.

So here they are at day 42. First the left front and back plants in one shot. The front one was very wispy, but the wisps are now getting plumper so it may turn out better than I hoped.

Next center front and center back. Center front - plant 5gal #2 - is the most vigorous and is needing more food than the others, will need to feed her separate. Center back is now the runt of the litter, soon I'm going to put her pot on 4 inch stilts to bring her up closer to the light.

Next right front and back plants

Now some bud shots:

Pistils are starting to turn color on a couple of the plants.

And the bubbler cloner with one llone TW clone, waiting for others to join her.

Cyall later!

Yay, bush! I'm confident, but I *hope* it's not too much longer, gonna be away for a week in July - have a couple of grobots, but I don't know if I'd be comfortable leaving them alone for a week. The wispiest one I figure is gonna go 'til end of July, that one is only in a 3 gal and the grobot should handle her easily.

Lovin the bubbler - waiting for some Morning Star shoots to get big enough on the mom to fill her up.

Thanks for visiting!

:listen2: Not sure I know what a grobot is, but I can imagine an automated little bot checking pH, analyzing soil, mixing nutes and perfectly watering, the deluxe model could analyze & top appropriately. Here's is a neat little self feeder, dude at the growshop said they work pretty good, he said use a few for bigger plants. Link Blumat Junior Syphon

The growbot is a real good piece of equipment, Smokeypufmaster used em to keep his mothers alive while at the cup and as far as im aware all was fine when he returned home.
Peace

Found it Gro Bot It would be nice if it controlled with a moisture sensor...seems like, unless you are use to it..it could be easy to overwater. :yoinks:

Hiya packn!
Man - you crack me up!!! :biglaugh: Yes, I have a few of the plastic carrots you stick into a mambo soda bottle and then turn upside down and stick in the soil - lowtech version of the Blumat Siphon. I bought 2 of the grobots - should have bought 2 more  , maybe I still will. I was worried about overwatering too; they're drinking 2-3 cups of water a day, so I'd just convert to mils and slice and dice it into the grobot schedule. Will only be gone a week, so as long as they're watered some I think they'll be ok..., despite my worries...

Hiya TC! - Thanks for stoppin by - I had forgotten that SP had used these on his mothers. Thanks for the reminder!

Looking at the girls the last few days, I think they were starvin for K way back on day 27, thought it was MG def. With the last bloom feed the leaves which weren't greening up are starting to. Have a feeling it's gonna take me another grow or 2 to get the ferting down - not used to feeding huge plants, I'm used to starvin bonsai :biglaugh:

Still learning how to use the camera, so snapped a couple pictures tonight.

First, the 2 goo clones I fimmed a couple weeks ago.

Looks like I did ok on the first one, looks like I didn't take enough of the top on the second. I'm thinking of letting the second's top get long enough to take it as a clone, and also taking the bottom 2 branches on goo 1 for clones when they get big enough.

Now 3 bud shots from the back left 5 gal TW - haven't taken any bud shots of her yet...

Still have relatively high soil pH - 7.2. Watering at pH 5 and the runoff is 6.2. Have no idea why the soil stays so alkaline, but as long as I can get the runoff ok I'm not gonna sweat it at this point.

Mate, some may disagree, but I think your watering at hydro phs rather than soil. I wouldnt keep the water that low myself. Maybe a few times, and some ph 7 water to balance it, or more regular at 6, but even then not constantly.
