You get a good feeling of pride when you get nicely toasted from the fruits of your labor. :canabis: Then you eat a bunch of food and play with the computer.
Ive got a nice Fiskars pruning and trimming set with a sweet pruner that has a geared handle and a blade system for live growth. The black blade is a knife blade, great for clones. I like those trimmers you guys have.

Their spewl:
PowerGear® technology gives you 35% more cutting power
Ultra hardened steel blade with non-stick coating
Rotating handle opens parallel to maximize hand strength
Adjustable handle opening size
Bypass blade for clean cuts on green growth
Replaceable blade
3/4" cutting capacity

Hi packn!
Thanks - that's a great looking pruning shear. Hell, I need one of those for garden trimming. Never heard of Fiskars before - they have some great garden tools.

BTW - I wrote a post with pictures in About Bonsai... a little trimmin tutorial. Check it out!

Yeah all I've used is Fiskars scissors for at least the last 25 years, still have a pair in my work tool bag that are 22 years old that are great. Made in Finland, now a subsidary of Gerber Knives. I even have Fiskars on my Gerber multi-plier tool.
Here's a tip for scissors...If they do happen to get dull, fold a piece of 400 grit or finer sandpaper so the grit is facing out. Then just cut the fold a few times and sharp scissors again.

Day 56 Flower

Day 56 Flower

Hi gmt, packn :biglaugh: , gog

As promised, here are tonight's pics. Gave them all a feed - my guess is the last feed for 3 of them that are furthest along. Packn - yes, Bud Monster :biglaugh: , that's my favorite too, the furthest along, she's #3 below. To my eyes #4 and #6 look to finish around the same time as #3. Miss wispy - #5 - is the slowest but she is filling in nicely considering how wisped out she got. The other 2 are a little wispy as well. Don't know for sure, but I'm thinking another 3-4 weeks for wispy #5, #1 and #2. 3,4, and 6 I think may be done in 2 weeks.

Anyway - enough yakkin - here they are:
Tw 1 and 2 - 2 is the runt of the litter now.

Packn - here's your favorite - tw3, and a bud shot from her

This one really shows the power of lst - despite the nute problems she is loaded and my guess is she will yield the most.

Here's wispy and with a bud shot - she's got potential

And #s 4 and 6 - 6 looks to yield almost as much as tw3

Buds are looking pretty good now - gmt, you've been a good monitor on my estimates - what do you think - 2 weeks for the fast 3 and a month for the others?

Fiskars Fiskars Fiskars.... They should arrive next week, starting to plan where I'm gonna hang them to dry...

Another vote for #3 for prez :D She really fattened up nicely. Even miss wispy looks like she will give you a decent little harvest. Regardless how much you get, its going to be some killer stuff. You did one hell of a job saving them MGJ, I tip my hat.

Hi gog!
Thanks very much - thanks to a lot of great help here from friends  These girls are very generous, especially considering I made 'em gag a bit, there's gonna be plenty to last me a while. Took the lowest branchlet from Bud Monster few days ago, 3 small buds that are now dry and oh so sparkly! Ahhhhh - smoked brains anyone? :biglaugh:

Turnin seeds into buds...beats growin tomatoes...not that there's anything wrong with tomatoes...just they're beat by buds.
Looks like you'll be givin some of those tomatoes a try, as Bud Monster roars for her branch...

packn - seeds into buds, buds into nice hours - you're right! Although those fresh tomatoes sure are tastey when I have the munchies! :biglaugh: BTW the tomato experiment was a great success, I have green tomatoes earlier than ever, just waitin to ripen....

bartender - Thanks man, and glad you could use the bafflebox idea! 4 of 'em - that's gonna be some airflow!

gog - howzit? Ahhh - alas the early pickins are no more, they were sparkly, lemon peppery, and went straight to the head! :woohoo:

Alex - thanks for stoppin back in! You're well on your way too!

tc - thanks for stoppin by and the props, yes, I have high hopes for my girls :biglaugh: , they're looking like fine upstandin ladies....

Here's a bud shot from last night - some nice orange brown pistils, trichs still mostly clear, but a few more cloudy than this weekend.

Thanks for stoppin by my friends :friends:
