Theyre still flowering? How long was I gone lmao? :D Seriously, Im so proud and happy to see that theyre doing ok, those buds do look a little fluffy but you have time, they continue to flower and damn do they have trichs or what :yummy: but still that stretch looks funny, I would say that too much N, but if kept under control from now on I'd say they will finsih just fine, some will stay fluffy some wont, but dang it will be trichy I see... :D

:rasta: "Captain I'm givin the Vaportec all she's got, any more and she's gonna blow...and the light track is down to 30%" :sasmokin: "Captain if we move the plants around to compensate for the track we may be able to push just enough buds out" :pimp3: "Make it so."

They're lookin mighty frosty these days, like a tiny mushroom farm going on there. :yummy:

I need to learn to make hash and stuff quick myself. Know of any cheap source for screens like hardware or automotive store? Might be a good one in an oil filter. :chin:

Those bubble bags do sound cool though.

Day 39 Flower

Day 39 Flower

Hi folks

Grat3fulH3ad  - thanks! Can't really take credit for that one, my Canon camera has a weird white balance under hps... came out kind cool though! Thanks for stopping by!

Farmer John - my friend :friends: Welcome back! :bongsmi:
You weren't gone THAT long :biglaugh: , it's only Day 39 today - might have added a month to them... or longer :yoinks: Definitely the girls that didn't need the extra N are the ones that are stretching, pics comin up.

packn! Thanks for stoppin by! "Capt'n, I'm puffin as quick as ah can" LOL... "Damn Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a bong"... Yeah - happy with how they're frosting up. Haven't looked into the screen stuff in a few months, there was some good info on one of the OG faqs - think they were using 100 or 110 lpi silk screen material. Gotta decide myself in the next couple of weeks.

My old Canon 3.2 MP camera started dying, so I went out and caught a sale night a Best Buy and bought a Kodak Z740. 5 MP, and 10x optical zoom... yippee!!! Took a few shots tonight and must say this is a much better camera than my old one, and the extra MP comes in handy to crop / zoom in for more detail in a small display size. White balance is much better with this one too.

First the group shot

Next the wispiest and the kinda wispy plants

On this next pic I cropped and zoomed the original

And other fairly tight buds

The buds are starting to plump on the tighter girls - so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for them... the wispies are just gonna take as much time as they need...

Later!

Not that you need it with the super cam, but the best tip I have found is to try and firmly place one edge of the camera against the cabinet wall or similar when taking pics. The more stable the cam the easier it is to get some cropped pics looking sharp.
Whats the US price on a 5mp cam, in a sale. I'm still on 2mp.

Hi gmt
Yes, anything to stabilize the camera helps loads. That's a good tip anchoring the camera against the cab walls.

I've seen 5 MP cameras for $210 to $400 more or less. Good pulse of the US pricing on this kind of thing can be found on bestbuy.com.

Those last pics look like you had a little PK def or lockout. Look sticky though. :yummy:
Art supply store for screens, GMT told me as well. :nanana:
Righteous on the new camera. Me want one too. Sniff right up her arse with macro as close as you can go at full 5MP no digital zoom, only optical, then crop resize and save for super flower shots. I only use manual focus, fstop, and shutter usually, so the object I want the tightest is targeted and the exposer is where I want it...not where the camera may want it...I use the timer for slow shutter speeds...then hold a paper towel over the flash to diffuse the light so I don't overexpose at close distances... :2cents:

Hi packn - teach me - what tips you off to the PK being low? If anything the pH has been on the higher side - water with 5.5 runoff 6.5. Thanks for any tips! Yeah, they're very sticky - handle them at all and my fingers are glued together!

The current cams have multizone focus - some where you can pick one of 9 zones on the screen to focus. The mutlzone exposure is pretty good too. Good thing too - I can't manually focus for shit anymore... at least not until the cameras have 5" screens :biglaugh:

That's a great tip on putting a paper towel over the flash - thanks man!

Hi Alex

Yes, the current bunch of cams are very good. My last one I bought 5 years ago - big difference.

My pleasure ;) Just hope the missus doesn't find out what I think of ur gurls :biglaugh:

I'm looking at getting a Sony DSC-P200 in the near future. It's 7.2mp and they do it in black which takes my fancy :chin: But at the moment I need to sort my cab out first so it'll be a while yet :badday:

Alex - my gurls won't tell, so I think you're safe :biglaugh:

That Sony is a nice cam. 7+ mp is amazing to me...

On your cab - you're building it from scratch? I did to make it fit into an odd space, but if I had a more normal space I would have bought a wardrobe or a prefab cab and modded it. Took me longer than I wanted to build it out.

Yup building from scratch. Was looking at wardrobes but can't find a decent size, theire all only 60cm deep and I want more. So far I'm on a price of around €70 for the wood I'm wanting which is 19mm thick so good for keeping noise from fan and light in. Still checking if I can get it cheaper but I think that's quite good allready.
Like I said it'll be 1x1x1,85m, that'll give me planty of room. Will totally cover the inside with mylar, but probably have to gat that from the uk or us as I can't find any in Germany

That's good pricing on wood - paid at bit more for materials myself. That'll will be a great cab space to grow in.

gmt
Prices are falling fast - 4 mp cameras have a lot of the focus and exposure features of the expensive cameras and the prices are falling quickly - 5 mp will be cheaper by end of year too. I couldn't afford to jump on a 7mp either or I woulda got a Canon Digital Rebel:yoinks:

packn - can't believe I missed this at first. I see what you mean. Those areas on the leaves were what was left after the Mg defiency retreated, but who knows? Thanks for the pics!

my opinion is this, if you under feed your plants, you get smaller plants that dont fill in as well. If you overfeed your plants with one thing it throws the whole balance out and takes experience, equipment, and other additives to rebalance everything or lose the plant. So its easier to get to know a plant and then add stuff next time you grow it rather than using everything available and then wondering what to cut down on or add more of next time. But eveyone takes their own approach and I like the differences.
