Hiya Major
Thx my friend! Still not 100% but at least I'm not comatose :pointlaug I've another idea on heading off the damping off issue - details to follow... Three cheers for dear old mum, curing at age 53 - have to pop on over to your thread and take a peekaboo...

Hiya HC
Sorry to hear you also have a bug to shake - hmmm whatcha been smoking? You been feeding your girls Chinese Bird Guano? :yoinks: Anyway, get some rest my friend and I hope you feel better soon.

Hiya Garlic
Thx my friend for the wishes and your generous offer. yeah, the cann treats put the virus to sleep and by the time they woke up they were on their way out :woohoo: No worries on the cuts - I have plenty to grow out waiting in the veg area - this was my big test 12 SB in the wick cloner and mixed SB-SS-LS-G99-AM99 14 in the bubble cloner, but now I know and now I get serious - details to follow. Thx again for your offer!

Hiya GPB
Sorry to hear Daltron has died - he was a very pleasant and upbeat fellow, wanna pm me details if ya know? So sorry to hear...

2 of my mothers have died - of rot! arrgh. That's what I get for having a too full plate - though I got lucky, the last batch of clones that partially took had a couple children of each plant, so I just have to nurse the youngins along and start new mothers. It was a cindy99 and one of the am99 phenos. Glad I had a backup!

Hiya BF
Thx my friend! I have pics of mine coming up, still have a little funky leaf, overshot on the feeding a bit and had to flush her out tonight, but she has stretched a few inches and starting to flower out. Congrats on your 250!

next up - finally more pics.

Update:
Still having a wee problem getting the right nute level on the LS and TW, but getting there. Had to give them a mini flush tonight, so took some out of cab pics... Clusters of flower starting to form on all 5 flowering ladies

Lifesaver day 12 flower

Think I might finally have her ballpark nute range. 750 ppms not enough, 1200 too much, keeping then at 900 or so for now. Soil pH holding at 6.5 +/-

Sensi Star day 12 flower

700 ppm seems to be right at her limit - just a tich of tip burn.

Trainwreck day 12 flower

This one is a N and Mg hog also, but she seems to take a bit more nute than the LS.

Next week they'll get 1/2 gro and 1/2 bloom, then bloom from then on.

Vegging plants
After trim on 10/18, today 10/25

They're doing great, slowed down a bit after the trim - which is what I wanted to buy some time - and now recovering nicely. The short SB is branching out well so with time she should be phat... That untrimmed powerskunk may need a small trim before going into the cab, waiting to get another clone run going so I can root her longer tops.

OK, now here's my thinking on the cloning problems. If I'm getting the durned fungal rot even changing out the water daily, I need some serious measures to work it out, I need more reliable cloning than this. First off is an antifungal shanpoo called Nizoral. It has a very potent anti fungal agent called ketoconazole. A couple of drops of that in the cloner - not enough for sudsing action - should help. Started testing it today. If that's not strong enough I have another thing to try but not as easy to get.

Y a w n - oh no, return of the heavy eyelids - off to bed, be back tomorrow. Have a great night folks!

Looks great greeny! Yeah, my TW is a nute whore especially on the N, she can really suck up the ferts......All your plants are looking good though, espcially for your first time dealing with so many different strains.......

Have you thought about building a cab inside a cab for your cloner........kinda making it a vacum where it would be difficult for the mold to get in.......i dunno......just throwin it out there.........and don't sweat your mothers mate, that's how i do mine for the most part.......Grow em big cut the shit out of em and start all over with the clones.......its easier for me this way, but that's just how i roll............good luck with the shampoo

take care

hey mgj.......looking good man,,,i saw you are having an issue w a cloner, and mold in your veg space.......and som mentioned building a room within a room, well a cheap alternative that comes to mind, is just using mini rwools and a humidity dome,,,its basically its own mini environment, but this way you wont have to run another light,,,,just a thought, hope im not so high that i got way off base, cuz i do have some catch up reading to do......im subscribed, but been busier than hell and lovin it, i can see you have been to , 2 green thumbs up........ bd

Hiya D-dubya
Thx my friend! You did a superb job on your girls, hoping mine turn out as well! < long exhale - long inhale - hold > whew, that's a great bong hit, very tasty, thx!

Hiya PeAcE
Thx my friend. Trying something new with the trainwreck, wired
'em up like a japanese bonsai after heavy pruning the bottom third - she seems to like it...

Hiya Alex
3 plants in one pot :biglaugh:, what a great compliment, thanks my friend! Actually the LS and SS weren't LST'ed this time, just topped twice. I also heavy pruned the bottom third of the plants 3 weeks ago and they just went nuts! I've been doing this during flower, but I think maybe the best time to do it is at the end of veg.

Hiya 'moz
Thx man! Yeah, I've been thinking of that route also, but I think no matter what I do the stuff is in the air - since it happened even with the wick cloner in a completely different part of the house.

But there's good news - 3 drops of Nizoral Shampoo in a 3 gal bubbler and the water was absolutely clear after 3 days - I was planning on keeping up the daily changes but with the recent cold and all I just plain forgot. The telltale signs of stuff growing in the water weren't present at all, so I think I might be starting to turn the tide of this battle.

Hiya BDawg
Thx for stoppin by my friend! Never off base giving advice buddy. I'm a better living through chemistry kinda guy, and it looks like the fancy dandruff shampoo will do the trick. Green thumbs  back atcha my friend - your grow is inspiring!

could you please show a pic of the wire job you did? i am very interested in this. i love the way bonsai look, i've seen other people keep they're moms bonsai but they did it by pruning. i am limited for space for my moms so this will be of great help.

and i'm sure that youre girls will turn out great for you as well, youre skills at growing are far better than mine  :respect: . i still consider myself a newb as this is my 5th grow, this being my first one in 2 years(built a house, then sister inlaw decided she wanted to move in as well, but i finaly nipped that shit in the bud) anyways glad your feelin better, heres some bluberry canna muffins for your sat. mornin, be careful though they might make go back to sleep :pointlaug

I'm so glad you said that!!! I've been thinking about doing the same. With cramming as many girls in the cab as I do (just because I like the variety) the bottom 1/3 of the plant is useless, so there's no point it waisting energy on that.
I'll give the pruning a go then I'd say :chin:

Hiya D-dubya
Sure thing my friend - here's a coupla pics:

There's only one piece of wire, a U shaped piece you can see looped over the branch with the red arrow pointing at the end. Once the young plant got to that lenght, I bent her over and held her in place with that U wire. When the end grew too tall I clipped it and let the nodes along the horizontal surface take over the vertical growth. I also let a secondary branch grow slightly to the left forming a little T. You can get an idea of the size from the ruler - not the smallest but pretty small nonetheless. Pruning is still the major control method - next round of cuttings I'll prune her down to 2nd node each branch and if the branches are crowded I'll trim out every other down to the base stem.

Hiya -VT-
Yes, you've been a busy fella - quite the writer! :respect: Thx for the kind comments. Personally - besides my next batch - I'm keepin an eye on Casey Jones! :yummy:

Hiya BF
Thx much for your kind offer, since I have to get air into the whatever chamber I put them, I think the mold spores will get in no matter what, even if filtered it would happen when I open it up to tend to the youngins. This is just one of those local weird issues - like my nightblooming jasmine bonsai that didn't grow for years and years because I didn't know the soil was too alkaline for it. I think the antifungal med will do the trick. Fingers crossed...

Hiya Alex
Prune away my friend! I was timid the first time I did it, I'm pretty merciless now as long as I'm working that low on the plant.

Hiya FJ
How ya doin my friend? You must be pretty busy these days! It was fun meeting your Pops and Zuzuman, they haven't aged a bit since the last time I saw them. Sounds like they had quite an adventure planned out. Hope to see them when they get back in the area - hope they didn't get amnesia :biglaugh:

Thanks! That's why I like to train my moms that way - when I'm done with them and grow them out they get a bushy head on 'em! Hoping I've got the foxtail gene in one of the Powerskunks...

Your little afghani's look sweet man! :woohoo:
