Cloning is still the part I'm having troubles with, hope these Gel2Root gel cubes I now have make things a touch easier. I'll let you know when I try them out.

check it, i have this homemade bubble cloner(thanx NIMBY where ever you are) and i get roots in 5 to 10 days. it's real easy, all you need is a container(about a gallon) and an airpump. heres a pic for ya

Hey Greenjeans. Seems like your moving right along. And trying new things with your cloner. Shampoo huh? That is a new one. If it works...... I put some MJ cuttings in my cloner, but I neglected to cover the new holes I cut in the lid. Leaves were getting wet and they just turned to mush. Funny how I have to learn things over again, the hard way. You would think I would remember after learning the hard way the 1st time.

I have been fooling around with my cloner, turned the bar up-side-down (sprayer down) to limit the spray. Thought the stems might be staying too wet. Now I have it spinners up, whatever collects in the bottom of my pipes was clogging up the spinners. Take two, spinner back up, I put the cloner on a 15 on, 15 off timer. Still to let the stems dry a bit, the jury is watching the procedures but it will be awhile before we have a verdict. Cuttings look good - just no roots yet. My copy of your cloner does a decent job on other plants (70% depends on the cut), given the time they stay in there (root or die trying). My other problem is once they hit 'soil', some just want to die on me. Still speaking of legal plants here. Can't locate my soil heating pad, hmmm, I think I know who has it.

Glad to hear your cuttings don't have dandruff.

MGJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Howdy homie!!!!!!! Just checkin in witcha, my usuall once a month check in! Sure do miss alot , im gonna have to stop in more often damnit!

Speakong of cloners, this was pretty easy to make and theres 2 threads that i know of about them, i used to use the bubblers but encountered occasional stem rot, if anyone is gonna stick with the bubblers i would highly recomend the 12" air bars rather than the wand with the little suction cups, the bars sink right to the bottom and stay there.

Plain R/O water (I didnt PH the water but should have) As soon as roots pop i added Rhizotonic, that stuff really works roots popped out like mad.

Thx for the pics of your new bubbler - looks fab! I use the same air wand - I have 2 of them in a 4 gal tub filled halfway with tap. I'm envious man - I rarely get nice rootlets - at best I get a mass of jelly/water roots that require some care the first few weeks in soil. And in 5 days!!! I'd be happy with 14!!!

You must be psychic - it is update time in the garden, snapped pics last night. Comin right up shortly. None of my girls this run are looking pretty in the leaves, but the buds are growing nicely. The Sensi Star looks to be good growin, just a bit fussy about nutes and once the leaves are partially fried it's hard to use them as a barometer... As long as the buds keep on growin I'm not gonna sweat it... I hear ya on the clones - about to try another run - bleached out the bubbler last night. Will be interesting to see how the gel packs clone for you!

Yeah - still muckin with cloners - seems to be a long term project here at Greenjeans Farm - or should I say the Fungus Farm The reason for the Nizoral is ketoconazole - that used to be a very expensive antifungal for hospital use only so figured I'd give it a shot. It helped but looks like it wasn't enough. Gonna do a run using SM90 in the water next and see what shakes out. Root or die trying - lol - my experience too, but doin too much of the latter...

You know I look forward to whenever you have time for a visit my friend! That is a kick ass cloner - I have a similar one:

Tried it with and without an airstone added too. Next step is water + SM90. The only thing about this cloner is it is big enough to be a lifting problem for me when full, and it's been needing water changes every 2 days minimum to keep the root rot down... Maybe I'll be able to cut back on the water changes using the sm90... guess we'll see soon enough. Thx for the tip on the Rhizotonic - I've seen it mentioned before, have to pick some up from the local store...

Leaves aren't the prettiest I've had, but the buds have great development for only 18 days. I should've transplanted the LS and SS one more time in early flower, watering every other day is not enough which is a first for me. Bud development is doing great though for 18 days - quicker than I'm used to...

Closeups of the branchiest plants - some of the SB and G99s want to stretch more than branch even after the heavy pruning. These look like they will be nice bushes when they put on some height...

Hey mgj, i just read some where that g13 has a tendency to have overly serrated leaves. Just wanted to let you kno what to look for on the G99's evertthing is looking really good. Although the flowering girls dont look as good as they should, they look as if they could do with a bit of N. But other than that i can wait to see the Sour Bubble i action man.

I only have pics of the mothers but both C99 and G13 males look pretty much the same...with usually overly serrated leaves...doesnt bother me and of course nutes/lights/etc must have a lot to do with it..

I'm diggin the Powerskunk...maybe I just like the name..sounds Mopar..but the bushy top on the GP looks like that's gonna be a fun plant to watch..
One of my clones(still in the small pot) is taking on the same look as your trainwreck and lifesavers..hmmm..the rest are fine..

Garlic.. I would be more surprised that you didn't have a compressor attachment rigged up to burn weed..
like converting a paint spray gun into a power smokeless..hehe..
