IME two plants in one pot, two different strains from bagseeds

I had one plant with purple stems the same plant in the same pot right next to it did not have any color

The only other plant I've seen with colored stems is Fugu Kush which has OPT genetics from the Blowfish side

You guys aren't disproving their point. A red stemmed plant that you dump P on without effect next to a plant in same soil without color doesn't mean genetic coloring necessarily. It could mean a genetically inherited problem with P uptake.

The idea is that genetic purple is just a genetic P uptake failure. You're calling it by the symptom, they're calling it by the root cause.

Plus it may not be simply P. Factor in epigenetics and all of the possible nutrient interactions

I am giggling a little bit. Imo get nutrition right for a particular pheno and voila...no mo red stems. I just now am gathering data on multiple strains. Let you know in a yr or so

sheesh, I was just trying to say that red-stems is not always environmental, there are various alleles responsible for pigment deposition in stems and petioles in response to UV and a host of other factors; not everything is the result of nutrient imbalances.... and now somehow I am trying to analyze people's phyche's? Ok, that's pretty weird.

raining hard. all the plants are chopped except the 2-Wave. hope to be done trimming in a week or so and then its almost vacation time. virtually zero losses this year to pests or disease. getting great feedback from early buyers. should have potency test results soon

Nickel, not the plural. There are multiple hypotheses in here.

Also, I thought shcrews said he's cool with side convos in here. I don't understand why the mods have any interest in what happens In ones own thread? Besides TOS stuff. Isn't that the point of having your own thread?
