I hear you Shcrews, I took a couple plants myself (leaving the seeded buds on of course). I have to say, my Ancient OG X Súper Silver Haze would look just like the cola on the first page of you're thread, if not bigger in your climate. Incredible plant. Never seen such big cola's in Oakland before.... Could only imagine in the Motherlode.
I've learned that sometimes the best seeds are the ones growers give you and are not available to the public....
Your farm this year is looking excellent! Especially with the latest pics of your lady in them, mmmm! You're a lucky son of a bitch.....

aog x ssh does sounds massive
my Ancient OG seed project this summer was a success! i got a couple thousand AOG open-pollination f2's from 2 stud males and 3 unique females. Also got like 1000 AOG x Black Lime Reserve. i'll bring some to give to icmag people at emerald cup.
the girl in the pictures is not "my" lady , she's a very good friend who is helping me with harvest this year, has experience. My lady is back home in hawaii now but she will be back soon. At the moment i am focused on harvest.
cover crop definitely did exactly what i wanted it to do. i love it.

That's sweet Shcrews! I'm running my own F2's on the Ancient, the purple stalked ones are like snow lotus for sure. I have also Ancient hybrids of Synergy, Corleone Kush and GDP as well. The phattest is the SSH hybrid and the corleone hybrids. Seems that the f2's don't stack like the f1's... But let me harvest and I'll compare weights.... Probably more on F2's as my eyes are looking a big colas.
I also have a couple (AOG x SSH)x AOG f2 That I'm testing last in the season.... Those look good. I'll have a Ancient Silver Haze X with Ancient F1 seeds, only a couple hundred though....
I hope to get to the emerald cup and we can trade beans, and you'll sample the flowers of the hybrids, but I have to admit I have a tad of aspergers so I am not so good in big social situations.... Sucks. I love cannabis and I love the creations we can make from this magnificent plant....

i've never had an Ancient OG with purple stems.. I did have one last year that was very snow-lotus dominant but still all green.
i'll see ya at the cup hopefully. that social anxiety stuff sucks but remember everyones mostly just focused on themselves and how they appear to others.
thanks, you too! your garden looks great. most of my stuff still has another week or two to go but a few things are finishing up now. I just chopped a small Tranquil Elephantizer and Blueberry Hashplant (both went in late). havent chopped any of my mound plants yet

popped a pack of these late in the spring just as backups... only one ended up making it into my garden in a 100gal smartpot. i am very impressed. stacking hard and super frosty with a great purple sour candy kush smell. looks pretty too. would definitely grow it again
