You got me. I come to shcrews' thread for a good fap. Maybe poll all growers and see who thinks its a good idea to bring random women to a grow.

If the rippers that came last year got away with your flower easily or without confrontation at least, I'd say the odds are good that they will at least scope the place out this year. I know this from experience.



Cops exist to oppress freedom. Smoke a joint in public or walk around naked and you'll see what I mean.

In Oregon, you can be fined or jailed for collecting rainwater on your own property, that you bought with the money that the government allowed you to keep from your labor. Who brings you to jail?

I definitely am in the camp of stop bringing hos to your grow but screws does his own thing even when you give him good advice

Shcrews, there isn't really a definitive answer. I can only make assumptions based on pictures and what I know an outdoor growing lifestyle to be like. I've been with the same women for two years and was only dating her for two months or so before she came up to visit me on my old property. That was even a bit too soon for me and I was also worried about her safety because we had already gotten a visit from a tweaker. The first night she stayed with me we had a guy cut through the fence and trip the alarms. She stayed in the tent while I chased him out of the plot naked with a flare gun and bear mace lol. I felt like I was in an episode of trailer park boys and luckily she thought it was hilarious.

One thing to keep in mind with women that you've met recently is that you're in that stage of figuring out what the other person wants other than sex. Maybe it's just sex and brief companionship, in which case thats excellent, but your livelihood is up on that hill also. If you can establish right away exactly what you want in these relationships and know that they are on the same page then more power to you. It's hard to do that though, given how indirectly people tend to communicate in sexual relationships.

I think there needs to be a push soon for us medical cannabis farmers to actually be allowed to have firearms at our grow's for once. That law makes no sense to me. A 12 gauge shotgun with rubber rounds would be nice to have around if it were legal.

as far as i'm concerned, my constitutional rights and ability to defend myself (includ property, from possibly violent/armed persons) come first.

i'm just a recreational farmer but me and most of the people i know that grow for their livelihood in the west, stay packing heat.

an m14 with 20 rounds of .308 and a sidearm of 9mm hollowpoints is what we keep.

I was always taught by the old school nor cal guys never to bring anyone around that didn't need to be there. Plenty of time to get laid and create relationship when plants aren't in the ground.

Also I was taught guns dont do shit but bring more problems. Are you gonna shoot someone? What is that gonna end up like? Did you all read about those brothers who decided to fight back against rippers, shot them, and one of the rippers died? The brothers are locked up for years.

I fucking hate firearms. Worst invention ever IMHO. Growing is legal for medicine, but if they find any packaging materials, cash, scales ect your looking at possession with intent. Have a gun around? now your in possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony, a very serious charge. Many of you will disagree, but I've got a stripe, was IN stripes, was down, was shackled, faced multiple years in high dessert, have a friend who lost his house, kids, wife and did years in fed prison. I know from first hand experience that Leo will fuck you while looking into your eyes and smiling. Never ever trust them, and always do what you can to be safe and avoid headaches later.

It's because he follows the same yearly cycles with the same people watching , this year he's doing the best though with more infrastructure in place than years past. Security is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Ive got lots of game cameras set up, but im going to be ordering a bunch of these wireless motion alert transmitters from Dakota. Just google search Dakota MURS BS kit if your interested schrews. I sometimes sleep like a rock so having the 'home base' reciever right next to my bed would wake me up if rippers walked through and set off one of the transmitters.

i,ve used these for years , in conjunction with trail cams that send pic to your phone .

i think they are an ok product , they do activate like any IR system during the day , at night they are fine . they false alarm a lot during the day , when ever the ground is heating up and cooling down with the weather .

if you have a larger property, during the day is also a risk , people don't only try to steal at night .

i prefer trail cams , with the txt pic option over everything . you can set your phone to have a annoying txt ring tone to wake you up .

with the dakota, your bit unsure if it activates , you,ll find yourself wondering around having a look for anything in the middle of the night , with a picture msg if its an animal , atleast most times it will be in the picture and you can go back to sleep .

the dakota only work line of site also , add any objects in there way of transmission and your screwed . it reduces there effectiveness dramatically .

I was just looking at those earlier today. I think they were like $450 for 4 zones plus one receiver. I know the transmitters or motion sensors take AA batts, but what does the receiver take? Hoping it is rechargeable. I couldn't find the range of tripping either. Would be real nice it it had a cam on it too. At least one you could take a chip out and check after a trip.

the base station you plug into the wall.
the walkie talkies are rechargeable, plug into wall like cell phone.
sensors are AA which i like the rechargeable batteries.

schrews- what is your over all opinion on the cover crop during the grow season? i was thinking of planting some in my pots in the offseason, but it seems to me it takes up root space from the plant while its growing and possibly fucks up water consumption. Just want to hear your opinion, your plants were way bigger last year right?

i have bigger and healthier plants this year than ever before, besides a few here and there.

the point of the cover crop this season was to have a living mulch . it is very nice. i like it. not sure if it is necessary but definitely keeps the surface of the soil cool and moist. kind of a pain to cut it every few weeks but not too bad. the ganja plants seem to love it

plus i love how it makes the mounds look
