woooooooow!!! Those are some serious cola's for a 250.......Those are even some more serious purple trics!!! Awesome job....Great macros!!! Just read the whole grow...fellow 250watter here....That's some serious flowering time, but I'm sure it is going to be well worth it.....Definitly interested in the smoke report...Great job again!!

yeah i am really happy with the 250w no doubt. i definately didn't think the flowering would be this long but i definitely think it will be worth it. if i could get four of the the #1 in the same tent it would be a huge yield.

i am going to be able to get the temps down for the next 5 days to try to get some purples showing better. i think i can get them down to 55-60 degrees tonight. low's have only got down to 74, so 60's may make some purple appear???

What do you take your Macros with? they are fantastic in term of focus and color/light density... DSLR i'm sure.

here is a picture of my #1 nycd plant from a couple weeks ago. it was standing nicely.

well it has been swelling up and getting so heavy that it has all but fallen over on itself. here is a picture under the canopy with the #1 nycd plant's main cola pointing straight down. it is getting chopped on saturday, i am just letting it finish strong. (see it in the background?)

thanks guanito! they are smelling great and getting purple coloring now because i have been able to drop the temps to the 50's for the last two nights. i wish i had done that for at least another week because i think they would be nice and purple nugs at harvest time!

gonna have a smoke report from some little nugs off the bottom of the nycd #1 plant tonight with some friends. its not a lot but its a blunts worth so i will let you guys know how it smokes. only after a few days in a jar and it is smelling great! can't wait to roll it up in hour or two

tasted and smoke great for only a week of drying. smelled and pulled sweet in the blunt. i am not a big blunt person but they do get you nice and highed up. still feeling good two hours later definately. a nice smooth high that leaves you relaxed but not glued to your seat at all. it smells great. i can only imagine a solid month of curing.

What were the temps like in there? Were they on thehigh side?

NYCD is one of my alltime favourite tasting smokes. Only grew it out once from bagseed, and even that was really nice. Seeds are so expensive for it though i havn't gone for it again but would like too.

thanks guys! the temps were kind of high during the entire grow. averaged about 88-90 degrees on the high side and then 70's at the low end, although i got the temps down in the low 60's for the last 4 days before harvest. i think the C02 definately helped the girls grow to their max in these higher temps.

yep #1 and #3 came down last night. we had a good time doing the minor trimming that was needed. the plants stunk even more than i thought they would when we started removing the fishing line, zip ties, and any extra fan leaves. the odor literally went right through walls. my 8" carbon filter was no match for the smells... we could smell it outside the house no problem.

i had no choice but to shut the lights off in my veg tent and hang them inside it to dry for a couple days. hopefully a 48 hour dark period won't hurt my clones.

i have to say that ripe nycd is amazing. smells so strong and the colors were great on them.

the monster #1 plant. absolutely a freak, it is so covered in crystals it looks like its wet. the top of the main cola was over 6 inches thick easily. notice how the top is falling over into the dresser

here is my #3 plant. supercropped nicely this plant has beautiful lime grean buds that are covered in shiny trichomes. it smells like citrus/pine. smells so good

here is the top cola of my #1 plant. it is leaning on top of my bed post here. this is very similar to the way the plant was growing inside my tent. it was literally falling over itself. it just layed in that position and got super fat

thanks jonas - yes i did save the trim for hash. i just pulled the #1 and #3 out of my veg tent and turned the lights back on for the whiteberry clones i have in there. they suffered a little but it was a necessary move to keep smells down to a minimum.
