here are the latest... they are getting heavy fast now. everything is falling down and needing to be tied up. they have all done it at the same time too. gonna try to get some macro pics today if possible. we got some shots with our hands in there to give an idea of size. they are huge colas though. especially the nycd #1. it is six inches in diameter easy. can only get your hand half-way around it. i am happy to get this from a 250 watter...

yes they are! i am really surprised how big the buds are with the 250w hps. i do have C02 so maybe that really increased the size of them so much, or maybe its just soma's genetics. i never really fed them heavily either.

i took some macros tonight to check out the trichome coloring. they still look to mostly be clear to milky with some amber in the mix. i was in a hurry so hopefully in the next two days i can post them.

not much time to get these macros together. all i know is they are from some little leaves near the buds of the #1 and #3 nycd. i will figure it which are which tomorrow still seeing some clear, a little more milky and a few ambers in there. the #1 is just a beast though. insanely covered with crystals. i will wait to take macros of those when i chop them. they are loaded for sure though. think i might just load them up with molasses from here on out.

i would have got better pics but i haven't had the time, but i will get some posted asap

what do you guys think? trying to figure out when the best time "trichome-wise" would be to chop for best overall high?

from now on out i am just going to water them every two days (as usual) with only molasses. from here on out its going to be two gallons of water and two tablespoons of molasses ph'd at about 6 to 6.5.

the smaller buds are falling over and almost everyone needs support. everyday more going down!!!

they definately outgrew me. but doing some supercropping helped to get maximum sunlight along the main colas and really helped to fill them out. i will post a dry weight and smoke report as soon as possible. thanks for stopping by

i am totally surprised how much size i have with the 250 watter too. massive colas considering. i have some more pictures i am working on now that i will get up asap.

looks like next weekend i might take two of them down. can't wait to see the dried weight

they are all continuing to get heavier and heavier. i asked soma how many amber trichcomes i should try to harvest at and he said 2/3 amber.

i will be taking more macro shots tomorrow night to see where i currently stand, but it would be great to chop the #1 and #3 plants next weekend. i think the #2 will need a little more time.

i didn't expect to be growing still past 10 weeks when i germinated these either. i think it is going to be worth it though. they are really fat colas so the extra time should be worth the long grow.

the #1 has a more fruity smell appearing lately. the #2 has a slight musty smell. the #3 smells is picking up some fruitier scents too

hopefully tomorrow night i will be able to update with some macro photos

here are some macros from today. i took these pictures from the plants inside the tent. usually for good macros i like to cut off a tiny piece of leaf and take shots of it because there is less shaking so you get clearer shots. but these are the best i could do quickly. there are some nice ambers in places. there are some purples in the trichomes too. but for the most part they are mostly milky with maybe 20% amber in some places. hopefully by saturday or sunday they will be ready

i believe that the milky looking macros are from my #2 plant. it will be harvested a little later, maybe a week or two

woooooooow!!! Those are some serious cola's for a 250.......Those are even some more serious purple trics!!! Awesome job....Great macros!!! Just read the whole grow...fellow 250watter here....That's some serious flowering time, but I'm sure it is going to be well worth it.....Definitly interested in the smoke report...Great job again!!
