The Problem with that is that the cab isn't entierly airtight yet, so the smell doesn't just exit via the exhaust Might seal everything with silicone for the next grow but for now I think it's fine and will just go for the usual high up vape to get the best anti smell mix :wink:

The Jacks r about 15cm taller than the VBS now. Starting to produce more buds so I think theire almost done for hight aswell.

The VBS have me a little concerned One of them is all covered in chrystals, the other has the same amount of bud but no chrystals Hope it catches up in the next couple of weeks.

You'll be ok wherever you put it I guess, I don't bother, but on the air tight thingy, if you've got a fan blowing air out of the cab, then any gaps for air to flow through will be sucking air into the cab rather than leaving it. The only time you would need it fairly sealed is if you were actively blowing air into the cab and using passive outlets. Although thinking again, I think I'd put it on the inside of the door to the room rather than the grow cab.
Either way mate, it's nice to hear about what your doing, but it'd be nicer to see it

The damn light didn't seem to have come on at all during my holliday due to an old timer

I'll see what can be salvaged and post pics in the next few days. The VBS seem to be fine, no more growth but colour ok, the JH tried to do some more growing in a last attempt to stay alive I suppose, but all the new leaves/buds etc... are completely white with just a hint of green.

Bought a new timer on saturday and all seems to be well now. That'll teach me to try and save money by buying second hand kit

I've been having lots of trouble getting connected to the net recently, and I'm still not fully back, but at least I can type again, so I thought I'd stop by mate. Firstly, pics?, Secondly, oh no, light failure, yes? Well timer but it's all the same thing in essence. Did you see my rhino thread, where I had to leave em with natural light and no water for a week, only to come back and find spider mites? Ah well, at least a damn big hurricane hasn't destroyed our grow rooms hey, so things could be worse. Thirdly, another holliday?

Yea a week in Tenerife, I told you about it ages ago :wink: Just got my birthday present of my missus too, a weekend in Amsterdam end of next month

Enough of that though, don't want to make you all jeallous

Just waiting for a call, we'll be off to take some pics after that and hopefully up them today, or tomorrow depending on time

Ok so here's some more pics. Colours a bit off as always but you should be used to it by now

First one's the good VBS. Nice bud size, loads of christals. At the moment I think she's the only one we're gonna get decent smoke from




This one is the second VBS. She has huuuuuge buds, we have probs with her falling over all the time. Not found the best way of tying her up yet I hope she's gonna pack some resin on over the next 3-4 weeks as despite the big bug, there's no christals/resin to be seen anywhere!




Ok these are of the JH. The claw has gone back a little. I'm still not sure whether it was actually "the claw" or whether it was a case of severe dehidration. Hope they pack on some weight. At the mo they're looking promising, but a lot to go yet.










Ok and here's the group shot. Click to enlarge as the thumnail only shows half the pic on this one. The JH a quite a bit taller than the VBS now. The front left plant (the smallest out of the lot) is the promising VBS.




I hope they pull through S'pose something had to go wrong on our first run, but we're still learning so next time will be better

I am particually interested in your Very Berry. Is yours showing the Purple colour of Berry,

I planted to Very Berry seeds -( like you), and only one is showing purple this is a pic of the purple one at 41 day flowering at the time of the picture on friday.

I have 2 VBS phenos, one which is packed with resin and all sticky and very promising looking, and one who's colas are much larger and denser, but sadly hardly any resin :

I pinched one of the bottom buds of last week to check for bud rot etc... and found that it was slightly purple on the inside. that was it though Not surprising though as I've had high temps throughout most of my grow as my cab wasn't quite finnisched

Well the JH still aren't finnished, I think they'll need another week or so. The VBS is all dried an weighed, came to just over 100g

The effect is entierly different, one is so frosty it looks like someone put icing sugar on it (almost like a ww ), smells of berrys and has more of a happy body stone, whereas the other one hardly looks like theres any resin on it, smells real citrusy and has more of an up high

All in all very happy with our first run though

Just germing are 4 Free Love from the H3ads, 4 Apollo Mist by Rez, 7 Indoor mix by Nirvana and 4 Skunk#1 freebies. The indoor mix and the freebies aren't germing well though might have to take some JH in again or do some more of the VBS, don't want to be running the cab half empty again
