I've always liked Pantera...... Personally, I think there first two albums
with Phil Anselmo, were there best...
Was watching the Moscow gig on youtube yesterday....Damn I just love how Dimebag pulls those harmonic screams....He could make those old Dean guitars really whale...
That was before Washburn released the Dime slime series etc...
Was reading an article years back where Dime bag was talking about how he used to hunt around second hand shops looking for those old Deans that he used to play.....That's because Dean wasn't making them at the time...
When they released Cowboys from Hell......Dimebag had this Awesome tone happening and this really fresh style of playing...
His sound was just so different, compared to what was around at the time...

Damn...I always thought Cowboys From Hell was Phils First album with Pantera...
As I'm listening to the first tune, It really has that old Pantera Glam sound.... A friend of mine bought the albums Projects In The Jungle and I Am The Night years back....
Alright for glam I guess....But not in the same league as what was to come ...
