Bought the Machine Head album Burn My Eyes years back when it first came out....An Awsome debut. Truly great album.

Starting out with Davidian.....Solid drums beating this awsome rythm that reverberates the shit out of me .....Combined with Bone crushing distortion that kick starts the testostrone...And good deep Ballsy vocals...

From the first tune to the last.....Solid metal, with no impurities.

Last week was The NAMM Show...What a great time ! The convention was packed and got to see some amazing talent as well as all the new gear. As always, the night time is the best time at NAMM as hundreds of artists are in town and fill local venues showcasing their skills and just just having fun with other musicians and fans.

Brian Tichy always hosts the Bash shows. This year I went to the Rush and Bonzo tributes. Hurry, the Rush show, had tons of guest appearances and we were lucky enough to be front row center.

Bonzo Bash had a bunch of superstars but my all time favorite is Lombardo !!

Next month...Megadeth with Suicidal...looks like we are getting back stage again...fingers crossed. If so I'll post up all the good porn...

My feelings for Rush should be obvious. If you say it was good I'll believe it. Bach does seem like he had that type of range back in the day so... Imagine being the guy trying to reproduce a Neil Peart drum piece, live.

ST. That'd be badass. Up here they are with Havok, cant wait for these guys, and Children of Bodom, who I've seen before and do not care for.

Never seen MD, I know they are past their prime but....:tiphat:

KILLER!!! my favorite drummer and artists were there. Ive been working w a highly skilled drummer on lessons when hes around. I dont want to drop a name for his sake. But, hes the real deal. I want to learn everything i can from him.

Watched the show....It was an eye opener. Those naked people posing on those crosses was definitely out there.....Never mind the sheep skulls and flames...

I'm not into death or black metal.....Just doesn't do it for me....
No offence.....But the whole satanic dark image is pretty lame.
What ever happened to good old fashioned paganism...Worshiping the gods of nature....

Hey T 99...I'd say that bloke is talking some sense....something the people can relate to...Always thought Dave Mustaine was very switched on....and very political... But in his younger day he was also very angry and volatile...That's what shaped his music in general.

Yea, quite ashow. They got sued in Poland because of it, i think.
No worries..
This satanism-thing is their trip, not mine, to me it's just music.
Emperor is just about only Black Metal/prog band i listen to at home. Opeth and Behemoth, that's about it. Chaos Dei, a French BM band is cool sounding.
I hear ya, not a big fan of albums that are over 60 minutes long, and the drummer going BLASTBEAT every minute of it. :biggrin:
