I cant believe this.........I have to remove my "power-lift" gate to hook up the trailer, I measured beforehand I thought it might work but the placement of the 5th wheel hitch...I give up................:wallbash:

look I suggest NO ONE follow this thread..I'll be lucky if I can make the state line by fucking December.

KillingT and Tess thanks guys,...been rough lately..I'm fighting not only my truck and simply PULLING the trailer (lol) I really wanting my power loader tailgate (it was THE reason I bought it) but now I simply have to remove it, stick in the bed and re-install it or sell it. Not a huge problem just another hurdle, my health has been fighting me. I've been unable to do anythng due to back pain since early yesterday morning, it just now started to relive from the pain.

I'll get a few pics up my babies are talking off the Black Lime by Afficianado are simply amazing they are so vigorous!

I'm hanging in their just got to blow steam occasionally...I'll make it over it just going to take longer than I anticipated.

Mega man, all the best vibes to get this one going and harvested.

Just make sure the dude cant kick you off his land. The Mega-curse would have you get the greenhouse built and planted - then the hammer falls.

Extra sweet that you still have some of the hardware that he last money guy bought for you and Anti. And the like-new trailer - saves you a briefcase full of scratch.

Make the luck you need.

FUCK that I'm buying my OWN land

Thanks Wild..been their...fuck that...lol.....

UPDATE: I called the neighbor lady to the property I looked at and I already made such a good impression on her I guess (who knew) that she said today that I could park my trailer at her place and plug in until I decide on where I want to buy.

on that note: I just spoke to a guy in CO. about 35 cred with water, propane and electricity but it's $$$$ and that's pretty far from Cali and I don't know if I can get that far away..heh.

Here is my Black Lime mothers I'm growing out, I'm taking a few cuts tonight to just load the green house with a few more. I'm going to grab some Bruce Banner cuts tomorrow.

(WHY the fuck are all my pics sideways?)

Your pictures are sideways because of the alien filters. Those filters the reptilians use to appear human screw up cameras. Just in cali though so you will be ok in Colorado.

Or something like that. The guy who told me was a little high I think.

Hey gang...feeling a LOT better today so I'm just in for lunch while I just work around the farm for some $$. I'm actually really grateful for the work right now.

Here is my mini-veg tent GH lol this should amuse some peeps BUT it works great as a cheap place holder , I should be able to move these all to a larger GH in NV in 3-4 weeks (or much less if possible)and yes a FEW did flower because I was (slightly distracted with my life falling apart) and forgot to put the T1 in the GH and I'm "re-vegging" a few Dosidos to name one, I think I screwed it though...not the 1st time I've fucked up lol.

At night to keep from flowering and I cover it for security....BUT leave heat hole and air flow...(I'm real old school)

Hi mega, glad to see you back around!

As I read this thread, I couldn't figure out if my post was going to be of the "Stick it out, you'll make it!" variety, or if I'd be congratulating you on having stuck it out.

I'm still not sure which I should post

But as some others have mentioned, and I hope you're up for some constructive criticism, .. But it looks to me like you're in a bit of a a tight situation, and maybe bells and whistles shouldn't be a priority. I get the impression that you're trying to get this rolling in the face of some serious adversity - and maybe that means on a shoestring budget.

..Before I prattle on, lemme just keep it simple - keep it simple! Seems like a few heaps of dirt and a hose may be a bit more reliable (and practical and affordable) than running a recirculating aquaponic gimimck. Outside. For the first time.

Either way, I'm tuned in and hoping for the best for you. :)

Good to see you again Silver:biggrin: IC is like a dysfunctional family, we all have STRONG opinions but...we all chill in the end. I am trying to keep it simple but that's not who I am...and I'm purposely leaving Cali and this "life" to live MY LIFE....I don't know if that makes sense but I'm going to possibly die trying to live my truth.

Enjoy the ride.....:tiphat:

I'm having a weird picture issue...? is it my iPhone? I take pics, upload them, they look fine then boom sideways? Weird?

Anyway been trudging along, working as much as I can but today it rained in the 831 so I had the day to do chores;

Called Grass Valley and got my soil figured out, I cannot afford Coots blend but they have one at 1/2 the cost will have to do.

I was offered (3) jobs today WTF??? Farmer's Insurance wants to set me up in an office pay me $40K a year w / full bene's, company car AND even call allowance...Im in shock, I cannot get a p/t barista job in Santa Cruz?? Oh 2 other places called and said once I land I have jobs their also...truck driving jobs...shrug they're SO desperate for drivers I can work PART TIME and get full benefits lol!

Anyway I am also buying a new truck, my old one just wont do the job and its too damn old. So this is the one I am trying to get I just got approved for a $18K loan and it's only $13.5 diesel (7.3 ltr..yes)...only 70K milage!!! and set up custom ordered from Oregon for towing AND has a 6 speed manual transmission..yeah baby!

picture.php

Or I can go totally low profile and get this, new guy moves into the neighborhood, puts up a HUGE ass greenhouse and drives this into his trailer LOL.

Nice truck. That 7.3 is one hell of an engine. Just one thing tho.....it appears to be 2wd. If you get any rain or snow on any clay type surface it will get incredibly slick and youd wish you had 4x4!

Yeah but try and find a 05 7.3 ltr diesel w/ 70K original owner for less lol....

also...I won't be 4 wheeling OR getting property where that is necessary , in fact where I am looking at is not the southern clay fields but more like Fresno, Ca dirt fields.....

think large alfalfa fields....they sit ON TOP of very shallow aquifers..THAT'S where you want to be.

I'll get the new RAM 450 next year:biggrin:

Mega, the 7.3s with the new body style are only from 99-03.5....then they went to the 6.0 which has had problems unless certain issues have been "bulletproofed" as they call it

I know what you mean! Gets brutal on the clay when it snows and or heavy rain, even in a 4x4 dually:tiphat:

I'm from the east coast in the mountains.. So I drive in snow/ice often, and I think I'm pretty decent at it but...

A few years ago I was driving in southern Utah on a back pass road (dirt/clay) with huge drops on one side... It started to rain. No biggy, I thought.
As soon as that road got wet it got greased pig slippery.. Not as bad as ice but pretty bad.
Even with 4x4 it was sketch driving.
My point being that I bet that type of dirt/clay u guys have out there is even sketchier with a wet layer of snow or ice on top of it.
the mountain pass roads have serious exposures... Some of those roads must have been terrifying to build...
