While I wait on the lease agreement some good news came my way. A friend offered me a "free" 5th wheel trailer ..yep and it is in really good shape, so the $5K I had squireled away is now free for my SOIL (yes!!!) and a cheap vehicle like a Ford Focus stastion wagon , Accord, Corolla, something 30+ mpg since I'm going to be making bi-weekly trip to the bay area.

Oh here is some Purple OG I get from this amazing crazy little grower I get my cuts from, look I've been smoking since 1975...THIS shit he grows in his little bitty cottage out in Live Oak is fucking SICK

WELCOME! :biggrin:...thank you..I often wonder if anyone even reads my "consciousness of thought" threads, their really NOT so much about growing as about the "process" and the "journey"...man that wax I just hit is real good!

I hope your dreams of an automated 40x100 pan out man. My friend who's growing for the state just clicked over the first cycle in his 33x96. I see big grows all the time but there is truly something amazing about seeing a fat GH, full of gavitas, with a massive automated cover. Just looks space age. He spared not a cent. There isn't one thing that isn't top-of-the-line on it. Looks like you'd walk in and see people all dressed in lab coats working in there.

My question is: It is WAyyyyyy back in the Farrrrr corner of our property (and at this point I'm too scared to let my g/f know "exactly" what I want to do, I say my chances of getting to bud in a GH are about 4 to 1 against me..lol...) Anyway her is what I need some help with, what is the BEST way to get all that foliage down, level the ground for a pad area?

A brushcutter would be best for that job.

1) How do I get soil (fill)in here you CANNOT drive anything not even my Kubota 4x4 ATV hmm well I might try that...

Carry it in sacks? That's what I do...

2) What is the best way to just chew everything down as I cannot get a chipper back their?
In that case I wouldn't bother and just rake/remove from the area

Ive always wanted a lookout tower, so fun on roadtrips, nice score Mega

Dude....you don't know the HALF of it...check it..it was GIVEN to me....(WUT???) ...yes......it's almost UNUSED..the bathroom (other than the shower thingy going to Home Depot later today) is basicly looks like it rolled off the factory floor..it is SANITARY!

Now I'm a litte OCD (LOL:biggrin:) anyone who knows me or been on a "grow" with me knows I keep to myself, do the job...and KEEP MY SHIT TIGHT AND CLEAN...like Military clean ok?

So I feel VERY blessed...(I actually thought I was cursed..no I really mean it..like Job biblical cursed lol)..so this REALLY put some wind back into my sail and I cannot tell you how much more energy and hope I have now, not to mention the $5K I had put aside...NOW all that is targeted for soil, I have almost everything I need;

I still have left FOUR (4) 20 x 40 complete irrigation systems (drippers, 1/2" lines, connectors, the whole nine yards) so I am good their, in fact ALL my irrigation stuff is STILL in boxes (we never even got that far in the last op before all shit broke loose)...so with the extremely expensive laminate (still in shipping package and enough for four (4) 20 x 40 GH's), now all I need is;

1) Tractor

2)Assorted irrigation supplies (locally sourced no problem)

3) About a square mile of shade cloth and 20' 4 x 4 round stake

4)A shit on of Vermifire or good organic soil (trying to source out of Reno or LV or Winnemucca but organic growing is not where it is for Santa Cruz so...lol might have to buy a LARGE trailer and haul my own soil, another idea is I have a Class A license I can RENT a single loader truck with dump and DRIVE it myself to my location, thereby saving a lot on PAYING someone else to deliver my soil.

5) Starting to get soil samples from various nurseries all over Cali, looking very closely at Sacramento area or farther east to get as close as I can to I80 or I5 interstates to facilitate easy delivery of the soil.

6) Learn how to read and take soil samples..I know NOTHING about this but following tesserecting and others threads carefully to " go to school" on having the "best" soil I can afford.

7) GH - PVC piping enough for one 20 x 40 GH (we don't need more room until we get a better idea of plant count), two large ventilation fans, large solar array (this could be $5 - $50K or more, we will be looking at this because we have almost 14 hours of sunlight uninterrupted 300+ days a year, stupid NOT to run solar, in fact you can SELL IT BACk (although this program is probably going away)

I was so excited planning and doing online research last night I didn't even get to bed in my trailer until well after 2:00 am ....I'm a little tired but happy guys...and it's been 2 years since I can honestly say..."I feel happy"...wow....that feels GOOD!

Time for some Purple OG, or BLue Mazar? or maybe Allen Wrench.....nah lets do some Sour Diesel with a nice topping of SOur D wax on top...yeah baby:party:

Aquaponics and greenhouses

Aquaponics and greenhouses

I am reading a lot (and their are 3 large firms locally) about "Aquaponic's"....I have an idea to help feed the whole farm...I'm still "flushing it out" but here is a 15 minute video of a DIY build of a Aquaponics shed built RIGHT next to a large greenhouse, now with some modifications this is pretty close to a very good idea I'd like to emulate.

Enjoy; [YOUTUBEIF]sz20zUiTLUk[/YOUTUBEIF]

Grow big.. Bigger...BIGGEST:woohoo:

UPDATE: Trailer RV mechanic working on my trailer tomorrow, truck still at Ford (sigh)...STILL need to get the 5th wheel hitch mounted on truck, need to order soil (btw DOES ANYONE know of a really good ORGANIC soils source CLOSE to Winnemmucca, NV, possibly even Sacramento? or Auburn or Tahoe even??
