I don't think you should be allowed to start grow threads until you have plants in dirt.

Not the general you, but the specific you: megayields.

More strains

OK here are a few more strains for your enjoyment, this first if called "Phat Fruity"..kinda the new "shit" strain locally, I've been so sick the last year I honestly have no idea what is the "hot new strain" lol.

This is the "Dosidos" strain I mentioned earlier, another new local one that is what a few of my local grower friends are raving about,

Question for Jungle growth

Question for Jungle growth

This is the area where I am contemplating a 15 x 30 VERY simple hoop house now here is my problem, it slopes from the high side (right) to low side and then a road (30 feet). The low side I am filling a large hole with tree stumps and assorted tree crap (thank you PG&E:tiphat:) you just made me a greenhouse spot.

My question is: It is WAyyyyyy back in the Farrrrr corner of our property (and at this point I'm too scared to let my g/f know "exactly" what I want to do, I say my chances of getting to bud in a GH are about 4 to 1 against me..lol...) Anyway her is what I need some help with, what is the BEST way to get all that foliage down, level the ground for a pad area?

(I am thinking of even buying some "recycled" concrete block retaining wall to raise that side (left) and level the area?)

1) How do I get soil (fill)in here you CANNOT drive anything not even my Kubota 4x4 ATV hmm well I might try that...2) What is the best way to just chew everything down as I cannot get a chipper back their?

I think it's going to be a buttload of "elbow grease" and I had 2 good days last week and I was physically able to get out their. I think I'm just going to have to "embrace the suck" and haul in fill soil with a wheelbarrow OMG :wallbash:

Any suggestions or idea's are welcome.

Welcome back dude.

use those trees to build your retaining wall. add dirt.
google hugelkultur, it's a method for creating killer organic soil beds fertilized by
buried decomposing tree trunks. gets better for years.

You could build walls like this and plant herb only on one side with
thorny bushes on the other to keep the rippers out.

Yeah chunky, thanks for the info! I've grown in native soil that had wood decomposing under the soil for many years and the plants grew extremly well :)

If your building a pvc hoop house don't worry about making the ground level it will be fine. Just build it. Reba stakes, pvc and plastic 2 foot longer the the length of your pvc

I agree with that. Just level it in steps. For each plant just level a spot the step down and level another spot. Throw some wood chips down where you walk up and down the slope.

I've been scouting a new location as that 4 in 1 chance of NOT being able to utilize this property that I do not own has arisen. I've already spoken to my father (did I mention he is a retired Presbyterian minister..yeah...THAT was an interesting conversation as he has NO idea I grow, well now he does), w/o a lot of boring details I'm finally making the move to the foothills (area undisclosed)...I'm moving out of Santa Cruz after 34 years..wow..that's hard to say...today I had my bankruptcy hearing, 2 days ago my g/f told me to leave, 3 weeks ago my Doctor told me I have Gall stones (the newest in a long line of health issues I'm fighting)

In the meantime I've sketched some environmentally "friendly" greenhouse drawings utilizing all recycled wooden glass doors, here is one ( did I mention I have an A.S. in Architectural Drafting and Cad/Cam design?) This is freehand on the back of a notepad but you get the idea's
