Damn best thread ever and last post i thought had me a good sign but dang hope i didnt jinx the thread. O well lets hope not.

Really hope alls well for everyone been awhile since some folks posted so anyways i probally just paranoid but hope everybodies safe.

on another note i have been goin thro a copy of this thread and I just had a pretty intresting idea and a bit of as different twist on things.....

Thinking late minis here.....great idea love it very intresting, one issue tho is a person needs quite a pile of clones.....or seeds of course but lets stick with clones because thats where my idea comes in.....stay with me here folks im high as a kite from a nice fat jack herer J :) ......so anyways heres the idea....start your seeds i guess one would either need fems or perhaps could take a cuttin n sex that.... start the seeds or get a clone u want for the minis and then put those outside in the spring grow them up a bit and then strip em down for a shit load of clones come july.....

could even start em say in june in area where u dont want em gettin to big and then either strip em down completly or perhaps leave a few nice branches and let it run its course...
Figured could be a lil sumtin that could help some one with limited space or some other issues.
Any input? Sumtin i missed? Different twist on it perhaps??

I kinda like the idea because it works great with our man Julians idea of What you can, where you can ,when u can and how u can.....

Peace

i hope julian didnt dip out on us...im sure hes safe tho, hes smart.

Now lookin at that pic and thinkin minis.... lol fuck me theres sumtin I gotta discuss with you every where I lookin lately I keep thinking about goddamn minis!!!

I been sittin around pondering plan and unfortunatly i am trying to think about my plan for me and problem is I am pretty gimpy right now trying to figure how to approach all this with my limitations in mind. For example i wont be able to walk far from car when plantin my minis so wtf do i do? Im thinkin either lil extra remote or perhaps try n look like a bird watcher er sumtin...

ahhh well more pondering to do obviously :)

Anyways welcome back and pleased to meet you I was missing your presence because I have spent many hours past week or 2 goin through this thread and rereading as well as trying to condense it a bit so i can use it a bit more eficiently.... shit its still so long was thinking today i may need a 3rd piece where i just take the really important stuff thats pertinant to my situation. Again welcome back and yer new "neighbourhood" looks awsome :)

will be intresting for you as well i imagine you done work in mountains like taht before??

Love the thread see ya around

Peace

Couple things, just stopping in, not sure if I can get all above without doing 3 page post....

1. That pic is not US.....:smoke:...

Also, the pic, all included, is "neighborhood"......so......could be over 4th mountain and then 2 mountains over :smoke:.....

It's the neighborhood :smoke:....Will share what I like when I like regarding that....so, please don't bother asking.

2.Above, money and fronts, all on previous page(s).....

3. I'm not against National or State Parks as much as aware of risk and penalties that go with them. Lot of people do, no other choices, and, the best of luck....after all, who can argue with What you can, when you can, where you can, how you can...

Some people have to, so , they can...:smoke: I wouldn't, and, if no choice, would review methods and approaches, etc.....

4. Curing in thread, I like boxes....but, can take any number of forms from the 2lb bags to hefties watched carefully...(One one partner did hefties exclusively, and, frankly, very impressive...........3 months later still slightly moist, not a hint of mold......but, 24/7 job to keep an eye on em....I like a little less maintenance......(and, sometimes not able to.....)

Anytime your throwing something with moisture into bags you have to keep an eye on it...can turn south in blink of an eye......

Inject........start with water......I can have straight out of tap at 6.2 one day.........6.5 next week, and, I can move 30 minutes away and comes out at 9.2......(wells, not city, etc.....)

No...I don't let sit, right out of tap, and use immediately..........(city water)

Also, you were changing things, so.........review all steps starting with water..(probably water since you said wasn't paying attention, not testing, etc.....location to location water from tap can vary dramatically depending on the source...

BB...I prefer to maintain starts instead of broadcast seeding.........just throwing em out there makes me really uncomfortable....now...as above somewhere....I get strays from previous season all the time...could be even from others nearby in same "neighborhood"...(birds eat, shit, etc).....we pull males, if females, we leave em and it's extra.......but, I like maintaining starts to established regardless of numbers......That's just me.....If I had to do 500,000 starts?....well, then, I'd adjust accordingly but still start in some way, shape or form that enables then to get started and I am sure, etc.....

Anyway....will get back and try and hit things above....was just off top of my head........really, really interesting couple weeks, and, at least one story that most would find unbelievable and be unable to comprehend, but.......eh, maybe one day :smoke:....something should not be mentioned in public at this time.......noose tied here is already getting tight enough......:smoke:

Yeah, the new neighborhood is full irrigation, fully staffed, etc.

(California,P.I., Mexico, and Guatemala/El Salvador/Honduras)

:smoke:

Nah never seen anything like that in mexico, just south of tuscon theirs a mountain range that shares similar beauty.Anways you say your doing irrigation so where are you tapping your water....lake/river ect,how far are your lines to the plot and are you using adjustable drippers or the regular kind?

Ahhhhhhh.....no cigar for you......:smoke:....

(Some said looked like Guatemala Highlands.....:smoke:....Nah....3 ranges in Mexico span maybe 2500 miles (I think more).....plus, when I say "the neighborhood".......shots could be 300-400 miles away from target........not going to give GPS coordinates ya know :smoke:......)

Not going to speak of any details such as water sources at the moment because could narrow down coordinates...(same reason pics "the neighborhood"....could match topography by satellite and such.........) drippers and lines?......:smoke:.....nah......little different show going on :smoke:....

Looks like a good place for a hard days adventuring

still in spot accumulation myself, and agreed, with gas prices, pain in the ass if you dont already have select places to get out and walk, trying to avoid occupied private land, find private access points, still learning how to look for spots

still waiting to see outcome of spring run, though lack of experience, namely cloning expeirence, has cut the yield exponientially,

BUT, now I KNOW, especially if I can get 50-55 day strain, that a spring run is doable here, and if this year I'm doing minis exclusively, then Mar 1 planting is the same as Aug 1 planting, ie, just to fucking easy to say no

My peat pots worked fine, some of the seeds pushed roots out the side in one week, some took 2-3 wks before they showed on the sides and the coco plants are very easy actually. I thought this stuff dried out a lot faster, and needed more nute feedings, but I just feed 2x str that I feed my soil plants with, and they love it, they have the thickest stem growth for sure.

I did kill a bunch of seed by damping off w/ the peat pots, they drain a little differently, so just be sure the soil isnt to soggy from the beginning, I had poured water in to let it soak through, took forever to drain, and left the tray half filled with water,

Places one can do what they like without the bothersome intrusion of others whose business it isn't in the first place.......

You know......I like the phrase "free reign" best :smoke:.....

Nothing like free reign.......:smoke:

Was talking to someone about exploration and use of new spots.......takes a "push" sometimes.........steps toward committing......once committed....your in....done....no out, it's underway......

Sometimes hesitation natural......sometimes maybe a sign and telling you something..........all depends....each situation different......sometimes.......best to sit back and survey and think....observe...contemplate.........(That's what you roll one for :biglaugh:......) Just kidding....I'm firmly against any sort of buzz in any way, shape or firm when talking work.....

(that's what after work is for :smoke:.....constant overindulgence pisses me off to no end.......time and place for everything......these are serious matters...work is work.......The last response I want when talking serious business is "HuuuuuHHHHHH"?......:biglaugh:....)

Most don't mistake me for someone who repeats themselves.........faster through it, faster to next subject/task and faster everything done, etc...

Best of luck....I missed out on spring run in free reign spot(s) above.....maybe next yr :smoke:.....(Have to make serious stock anyway, so....no rush........is what it is.......stock is the key...always........)

Welllllllllll..................the answer there may lie in your mix/drainage to start.......(plus always make sure, as earlier, holes in bottom are clean........when I run through cases, probably 80% more or less aren't cut clean...I have to punch out the holes in them when unpacking and setting up and mapping them......).....More you work with them, better one does..(They have the Jiffy coco pots as above also now.....)......have to work them first...they're not going to absorb from the start.....after couple waterings they get "broken in"....example....I have a batch going somewhere in 5" ers, and, haven't top watered them now in about 3 weeks...period...2" water per tray......that's all they get, every other day more or less......(Had all my matters watched over recently when gone, so....tried to make it as easy as possible for them........extremely trustworthy and solid......100%, but, not the knowledge I would wish for, so....just tried to keep it simple, and, every other day.....mix nutes (FN), fill trays worked well, no mistakes, no problems...(Increased dosage when I got back, but, eh, overall....they're fine....)

Wha'd I get you on brother? :smoke:....

Maybe, maybe not, but, back to the above, as fresh discussion......

New spots.......

Any logical, reasonable, intelligent person should naturally feel concern.........even with the "best of spots"....

Why?.....

WHY????????? :biglaugh:

Because depending on your numbers your conspiring to and furthering the commission of a violation of federal law :biglaugh:....

Seems simple enough to me :biglaugh:........

Natural hesitation prior to undertaking is natural.........expected.....and reasonable.....

It is up to one to judge where natural concern leaves off and other sources of the concern begin..(or, full blown paranoia showing that is an area one has problems with........)

Some handle such things even on the safe side well........some do not.....

Some are made for it.......and some are not.,....

In the case of some.........well, maybe they were made for it, maybe they did it well, and, maybe it's just time to wrap it up.......

I edited some personal and extremely sensitive commentary out.............

Anyway............

"Perfect spot"........sure, still should be some concern.........

I've had spots I passed more than a dozen times, even stopped close to..............all came down in the end to hitting spot loaded, getting the fuck out, and getting the job done.....

You have to commit somewhere, at some point.......it's not a minor undertaking as a whole..(op).....but where to draw the line between natural concern..(awareness of the world, surroundings, ones acts) and something else..........(not a safe spot, a spot that will not reach completion......a red flag, etc....)

I frequently, as above and earlier sit back and have a smoke......observe, contemplate, etc........(and, later in the season, if I get a minor wave of paranoia.....will not hesitate to turn back on a spot and come back weeks later, or, if called for, never come back at all......)

You know......now we're moving from things which can be readily explained and understood by almost any individual to hitting on a higher level of awareness, "feelings", etc..........which can't be explained, and, are either fully understood or never will be......

One one can be aware of this and make these decisions for themselves.......

I think in a lot of cases......one will not be able to make themselves commit when truly an issue.......just can't go through with it...call it what you will.........lazy......procrastination, etc.......

It all comes from somewhere.....

Wish I could share some other things above......would have helped relay certain points.....(and frankly, lost my train of thought anyway :biglaugh:.....)

I'm firm on one always knows.....(Some disagree, but, if they shut up long enough to hear and feel the silence around them they might change their mind :smoke:...)

You always know........you see, you hear, you feel...........

You know...

And, somewhere in there, occasionally.......clear and definitive sign not to do something....

Lost my train of thought......sure point made....lot of mind.......too bad can't share.....some might find interesting :smoke:.....

Perfect spots don't exist even if one has access to a helicopter, this time last year i thought i found a "PERFECT SPOT" on google earth and when i got their it was great and thick with vegetation surrounded by dense forest about a quarter mile from a rural logging road then i stumbled upon an old dirty sun shine mix bag.....SHIT....it then occurred to me that other people in the area might be using google earth but eh it is what it is.
