Well......I am happy to say that I am wrapped up for the yr................

Of course the bonus to being wrapped up, and, the unfortunate possibility this may be my last for a while does possibly enable me to share more exact details about things which I conciously have not/(misdirection).....

I had a moment yesterday that I wish I could share, and was tempted to take one more pic of that moment to try and convey the scenario, and, the feeling of such a moment....(Plus, I think current arrangement is now done......for various reasons.....and a very unpleasant one for one.........)

Luxury vehicles :smoke:, and a couple (3) larger trucks (20'+) parked on dirt road, nothing but open land and road as far as eye can see, and, the typical.......everyone shakes hands.....a job well done, close up trucks, and make your way home.....the last run of season....(Done at that spot because you can see 50 miles down road each and every way....absolutely no way to be caught by surprise, or even observed, unless from air, and, at an usually high distance.....kind of road where you could lie down in the middle, go to sleep, wake up 8hrs later, have a glass of OJ, get up and walk away and not a single car would ever pass :smoke:.......

Tank of gas....$50......bottle of water.....$2.............being able to do 110mph and turn a 6hr trip in 2.5hrs because your empty?.........:smoke: Priceless........(**** mastercard...shouldn't be using credit/debit cards anyway by op :smoke:)

(I typically talk to anyone from now on very, very little........and, probably won't see or talk to partners until March and then let them know if we are doing anything or not....) (We are all about 1hr away, and, the typical sign will be something like a casual call, talking about family, business, this, that, with a "I'm just at store, grabbing some things...empty fridge, was thinking of ya....".........which of course is code for I am basically at the closest store near you shopping, so, come by, find me in the aisles, and let's talk..........:smoke:

I was tempted to take a final shot of that scene.........and, then, I figured why.........So I can hear it's a pic from somewhere else?......so I can hear "well, what's in the bags..." (3 trucks packed, floor to ceiling, front to back, probably more towards 200+each).....45 gallon "contractor" bags btw...my recommendation :smoke: I weighed one, out of curiosity and was about 85lbs (only nice stuff, we left the scrap on this round for helpers...bonus).....or endless other doubts.......and then pointless anyway as everything the same with those I know and like....as always, and, of course, the opinions of those I neither know, like, nor respect of little importance......

(You know......I feel much more comfortable and enjoy more just offering my random comments here and there in random threads........like that much better.....)

I think overall this has been my statement regarding posting.......I'm still here.........yr 6 just right around the corner (posts and pics..here and elsewhere) What I showed this time brings my total cumulative pics posted up to almost 30,000 plants...(was about 25k...add another 2500 from last couple months, earlier rounds under different handle was another 2k+...so....)

onthecouch said:
:fsu:
700? damn....minis right? I'm wondering how much $$$$ in dirt you had there....time no doubt too...
between 500 and 700....I lost count at about 450 but kept adding to that spot, so.....anyones guess (could even be 800+, but, I think 500-700 is the most accurate estimate for that spot....

Actually, this post made me think about it......

Cumulative time spent on that spot about 10-15hrs.....total........

10-15hrs.........nutes minor.....(maybe $500 max)...nothing else....nute mix and crystals.......and, the starts of course...which cost money..(stock...but bulk discount)...but, can't think of it right now off the top of my head........(stock actually greatest cost.....)

Oh yeah...
Whatever- got what I wanted, had some fun, stayed free another year- I'm calling it a winner.

Feels damned good to be clear.
I was working on my own little saying recently....something like "making a 6hr trip home in 2.5hrs doing 110 because the car's clean....priceless" :biglaugh:

You know ....some other notes regarding partnerships are....for everyone....avoid cheap people.......

I was talking to a couple people this week about "cheap" people, and, the problems with them.....

You see, very rarely can one say "yeah, he's a cheap ass, but, he's an honest, straight up, serious guy".....

They just don't go hand in hand.......

Deceit........dishonesty.......greed.......selfishness..........

Those go hand in hand with "cheap".......... (because of course their constant focus drives them to compromise their integrity (or what little they have/had to start with......)

(Yes, I had a problem this yr with inside thievery..........it's being dealt with in a very unpleasant way.....either at this moment, or, shortly....but, no more on that......)

"Cheap" should be a major red flag for anyone............

(Of course, yes, most people may not have unlimited funds, and, have a budget, but, those have little to do with each other......ie: One can have limited funds, be on budget and not display deceit, dishonesty, and greed towards those they should not..........in fact, most people I know with limited means are the ones with the highest degree of honor and integrity.....

(Yes, I'm well aware I am meandering aimlessly......but, put a 6 month major project to rest......with 24/7 stress....so..........experiencing a typical and welcome release of all.........)

In any case...overall, not a perfect yr......some loss...across the board.......some possibly thievery......one partner getting some problems (arm/shoulder), another their knee.....but....finished...everyone where they are supposed to be...all safe...trucks washed down.....

You know......something else of interest is I don't think a lot realize exactly how much these take out of you......(I haven't taken a deep breath since May......) Another reason contemplating a break.....takes so fukin much out of you.....(me)This time a little more because I didn't do my typical regimine of quitting smoking, working out, eating better before season started this time..(I always do........lot of physical effort.....)

And then of course random amusing comments...:biglaugh:

Ahhh....the little/simple things......I usually don't wash my car from about July on....(and, nice car...I love cars :smoke:) .feels it "blends in" more when dirty, unwashed, etc........so...going to get it detailed today....pretty happy/excited :biglaugh:

Then of course, I think I put the season aside as far as a test of physical endurance when compared to "trimming season"...(personally, I'd choose the "growing season " instead in a flash :biglaugh: and ****...that's just my ps/what I take (the best things I see..everything I take and do I do close and by hand....so...might be larger nicer things, but, enough to keep me busy up to 12 hrs a day 7 days a week...I'm curious lately exactly how much I trim myself, alone...cumulative for season.......I think it's a pretty high number...)..Plus, things came in earlier, so...have pretty much been at it already for10 weeks anyway.....(and another 2-3 months +/- on top of that...)...(Maroc's started coming in first week august, then purple powers started coming in, then mid sept a lot of other things started coming in.....

(Note: From seed...of course a wide variation, which, yeah, can affect finishing times, a variation in traits.....but, the downside basically being that (variation of traits), because as well as some coming in earlier, some being heavier, and some being nicer/quality/potent...the downside is of course a lot come in that are the oppoosite of all of those ....so.......one downside to seed...

I do also believe in taking breaks on trips.,..especially when things around...(not to mention there is a certain kick I get out of places like "The
Crazy Horny Red Roosters Rockin Stop" and such :biglaugh:......Reason being...lot of people paranoid.....and, I believe that affects everything (even though people think they have control over it.....) So, I might say let's stop quick for some gas, sandwich, something to drink (not alcohol) and have people saying "**** man, c'mon...the loads man, the loads....gotta go..let's GTF outta here" :biglaugh: Of course that right there is what I am talking about.....(I recently "trained" someone on that and it basically was "There is no load....forget about it.......it's not there.....listen to this tune......have a cigarette.....want to stop for something to eat, etc.........ie: If your thinking and thinking and thinking tenses you up.......just relax...everything in order....follow all laws....and, 99.9% chance nothing is going to happen anyway (quite Zen......don't want to get pulled over?.....then don't do something that will cause you to get pulled over :smoke:....Quite simple really.......(as above..later the season gets larger the loads get, so...when your talking whole trucks filled.......

Ahhh....the simple things.......(I did also get about a dozen seeds from the final BOG's....(which did very well......whole plants were mold free , rock solid pop cans.........very nice........very nice, and, couple seeds....so :smoke:...also got a few from the rare pink things...(maybe dozen....)

And we are going to do some bubble runs shortly (ahead of schedule instead of waiting for a lot of snow and ice....) so....little excited about that although already overindulging a little too much (every one twisted gets hit with finger and scissor scraps...so.....:smoke:)

Also very happy because new scale and vacuum sealer on the way (old goes out as gifts....)

Ahhh...the little things :smoke:....

As far as the previously mentioned addiction....(heavy sigh)..................well...........it's been a day or so.......months of trimming ahead........glad to see season done.......not a good one...lot of problems......beyond exhausted and almost starting not to make sense when I speak :biglaugh: but I did think about setting up an small in (10-20k?) for a quick couple :biglaugh:.......cause not sure I can wait until May :biglaugh: (what a ****in retard :biglaugh:)......Maybe it's time for professional help :biglaugh:

May so far away......:biglaugh:

Feels farther away than yesterday :smoke:......

So im wondering what do you do with all that money? What are some ways you can put it in the bank without rising suspision? Can you invest in things? But investing with large amounts of cash seems sketchy...So how do you get past this?

:biglaugh:.."Done" as in no more romping around in forest, extended road trips, etc....Everything now done in safe and secure environments, etc........

Scale and such was actually just an excuse...(New guy needs that stuff, so, instead of buying new for him, just gave him mine and bought newer for me :smoke:......) I do the same for everything.....(watches, cars....whatever....) I like the new one.....pretty cool....

"Safe" is of course a misunderstood word and can apply in many different ways........

Most associate it with arrest.....I associate it across the board and equate it also with "alive"...

You start to hit the high end of dollar amounts and never know what amount is the fine line.......(People are killed every day over much, much, much less.......)

Sure, glad no busts....but, a little more so that alive :smoke:....

Plus, this season I have been in the very, very uncomfortable position of I have a beef and have had my hands tied...(because so much going on, so much to do, can't make any moves, etc, etc....) so.....now almost to a point I feel comfortable...(Different subject, but, going to full blown fukin war shortly with someone.....) Lot of disposable cash.....clean asap around me will be welcome.......Long story, but, something that no man would pass on....principle involved....so...kind of have been just biding my time till I am clean enough.....(and we're talking full blown war.......)

A subject I know a lot of people are familiar with.......a wrong done...hands tied because dirty, can't risk it, etc.......)

Anyway....my wishes to all for the same.....safe and secure end of season......(actually, quite a few things had another week or so, but, the remaining had to come down, asap...so.......but, my phrase is "close enough to finished that not a big deal"...ie: 2-3 weeks early?...why even bother...........a week early?...eh, close enough so that it makes little difference (in the end product and quality)......and, of course, as all know....lot of things you can leave, but, then, affects the quality(high), so..little early never bothers me.......(alternative is having shit that couple hits lays you out and puts you to bed, which, of course, is not that desirable market wise :smoke:.......so.......)...

Thank you for the wishes......nice to have it done....and, the sooner all finished the better....(I've been discussing and contemplating bringing in some more people to wrap up a little quicker...but.....not sure at this point..(no one would be strangers.....all close to a degree...just people not usually utilized for these matters, and, maybe, wait a little while till a lot cleared out and gone before bringing them in (minimize risk...ie: 50% gone.....dried, clipped, packed, somewhere else, etc.,....)

You never know the depth of someones greed(or lack of) until they actually have a chance to display it.............

Edit: And while the "How to" has touched on many aspects.....it has not regarding violence...vengence....(nor will it....inappropriate on many levels, for many reasons.......)......but, I will say this......Halloween coming up shortly, and, the only time of the year when men, women, and children can roan the city freely in masks.....in stores...in cars....everywhere.......:smoke:

Words of wisdom when contemplating war-

Be careful, guy.

I just finished harvesting 2 plots of minis of pot of gold, and have to say that they turned out excellent. I had no problems w/ mold, when I had a good bit of mold on the bigger plants. I honestly think that the majority of minis out-performed the larger plants, especially w/ trichrome production. I just used an organic 3-6-6 mix, and let them be. I checked on them tonight to chop for the first time since planting 10 weeks ago. Thanks for all of the great advice and info! Minis are the shit!

Sweet man. Those nuggies are beauties. They look like indoors cause they are so fat and tight. Nice trim work ;) Oh and what bog beans did you end up with? Glad to hear all went smooth this season and thanks for sharing. Hows the smoke so far?

:smoke: Glad to hear..........absolutely (mini's the shit...downside is numbers though.....)

All above......same for me (as above and elsewhere)...My city mini's last yr beat out large project and even an indoor (all same clones from same moms....large out, indoor, and city mini's......general consensus was mini's best quality hands down out of all..(BOG SB.....)

Quick turnaround.......minimal effort......better quality....I mean, what more can we ask for...:smoke:

Yeah....mini's usually best quality hands down (and, again, relating to size...stealth...they usually get more sun (smaller, more open locations), and, a lot of wind (smaller, more open locations...)

Most crucial issue is getting them in right...due to time or season......moisture can be an issue when small and vulnerable....hotter weather, etc...so..key is getting them in right, and, from then on...can just come back 10 weeks later :smoke:.....)

Glad to be of service....and glad all turned out well.....

Thanks man....trims in pics not complete....(ie: I might be trimming and think I should take a shot before I forget :biglaugh:...)

Lot of people say that...(I have one guy who turns it all over as indoor...(not my idea.....he just does....) Of course, not all....but, the nicest stuff seems to pass as in no problem.........
Oh and what bog beans did you end up with? Glad to hear all went smooth this season and thanks for sharing. Hows the smoke so far?

Sour Bubbles.....last year, had a bunch built up, but, ran clones only (long story....) everything was the BOG SB.....large out, city spots, and a quick in (or two :smoke:).,.....so...used the rest this year (for my ps of course :smoke:....Glad also because ran some in city spot I lost, so....just glad to have some (again...that's my PS lately...so.....)

SB probably not ready to smoke for....3 weeks (not even trimmed yet....) Have been smoking (for myself..) those pink ones....which are definitely the best so far (that has been dried, clipped, cured and smoked...) and a pattern sems to have developed (I'm keeping that to smoke, and, usually what I smoke daily is either straight that, or, that with scissor and finger shreds throughout it when twisted (but, then, flavor and taste and kind of mixed.....darker due to hash, so..prefer it clean......that one is basically as somewhere above.......(let's say a half a fresh lemon with a shot of premium....very, very nice.....outrageously strong.....(anyone who tries a sample basically just do 1-2 huge hits and that's all......

The power plants surprised me..(quality.....)....had what I believe a feed issue with them..(are they extremely heavy feeders?)....but, all in all, turned out well and surprised at quality...how it came out overall....Also ran lot of other stuff......not pics of everything (strain list must have been about 40 things...) and, got a little confusing due to a lot of things being mixed up through plantings....(ideally, I "map out" all spots and strains, so, each spot is each strain used...but, just didn't work that way in the end.....some plots planted all year....so.....10 different sizes, 10 different things, etc...some spots hit heavier by environmental (mold, tipping, splitting, animals, etc)...so......I just judge things as I am looking at them (where they go, quality, etc.....)

Yeah...so far, sticking to the pink stuff (lemon fuel, thick dense smoke/hits...), scissor and finger, and moving onto the BOG when done.....(couple weeks.......I also do different things, different ways....some hung out...some clipped wet....some hung in....some clipped dry...etc...my ps always gets full treatment (hung with all veg until dry, trimmed, cured minimum 2 weeks before I even roll one and sample it......easier than it sounds once things start coming in (because now basically things already been curing for couple weeks, so.....no shortage of anything "ready" to smoke........(I never do anything quick...(quick dry, samples, etc)...I always wait......(yes, very had to develop that patience :biglaugh:......)but, my solution for a lot of that is to just ignore.......just ignore...I have other things to do daily, so....not sitting and watching it dry :biglaugh:....so......just set a time mentally when something to be handled, and, until that time...forget about it..(BOG's right now I will probably hit sometime this weekend......so...that's that.........come Saturday....I'll take a look and either start o those or not...

The other thing that people have to remember regarding drying things which are huge and dense is automatically add couple extra days (to dry...) ie: Average might be 4-5 days...but, you have something larger, denser than everything else, etc...will probably be 7, etc....so....Know a lot of people sometimes have problems when determining what is "dry"...larger denser things can be very misleading and better to add a couple days onto it (and even then, once you throw them in something.........will moisten back up most likely anyway.......

I did an experiment yesterday also to measure what I trim myself...came out to a little over 4 p's......(myself, casually, manual..while working, etc....)..So...I'd say 3-5 day is about right that I do myself, my ps, etc.....(if wet, quicker, if dry, little slower...I think Monday I did about 6-7, but, that was wet, and all larger stuff.....so....)

Still have to go over itagain for a close clip after running it over machines (If you want close, tight, clean clips)........for my ps, I prefer just to do it once perfect and be done.

Edit: As above...I think most don't trim as efficiently as they could, and could get much better speed and performance by altering their approach and style......ie: target all at base for single clip.....1 cut instead of several at a time.....

I was teaching someone recently, and, threw them something the size of a pack of smokes, and, to show them...in the same time it took them to go through that single bud.....I went through 6 the same size...

(they immediately went from 1 in that time to about 3 within 10 minutes.....)

Target all at base, only clip surface when absolutely necessary...

I have heard nothing but good things about them form people I know who use them, They have bud in one hand and scissors in other cut large fan leaves off before thrown on table so they dont suck big buds in. They also have diff grades avaliable for how close of a cut you want...they are really a great product form the pics and buds I have seen clipped this way...one guy in the bush with one of these can trip 12 pounds in 2-3 hours I think was his claim, and move everytrhing out already trimmed less weight to carry out. Im going to purchase one for my outdoors next season as I do mine solo and for me would be like having a extra set of hands in the bush to trim that dosent talk!

and as well it really depends on your strain and how leafy it is

I'd agree in general, and am more than familiar, and think everyone should have one (or 2, or 3, or 6...) I just don't use them on my ps batches. (Because I would have to go over them again.....so it's counterproductive/inefficient....time and effort better spent by others on the bulk and me doing my ps how and as I see fit.)

For sure to each his own, This season im running all auto-afghani created by another member here Reibsi who hasnt frequented the boards in a few weeks. My harvests are staggerd a week apart. So there's not much time for me bymyself to take the time to give em all a profseional hair cut LOL. getem cut get em out and get em to safe house and when I have free time I'll go threw em and trim what I will feel is nessecary if there is anything that isnt meeting mine or my buyers standards. Your thread is very motivating and I can tell by reading your a very smart business man and thats exactly how I like to do it! go big or go home right??

Of course. Standards though depend on pricing :smoke:...so...

Very kind of you to say, and, glad something of use and interest.

I'm not so much of the "go big or go home" school (because too many variables in peoples situations and the world), but, as earlier here or sister thread, I am of the school of "Make it worth your while"...

Something happens.......what about legal fees.......if time?...what about family and expenses while your away....what about your needs while away ($$)....so.........For me (and, that's just me...my thoughts, feelings and approach..plus, I make borderline huge money legitimately...so......risk proportionate to the reward....

Not sure if your up North, but, make no mistake...down south/U.S............it is indeed no laughing matter......(I'd be a 20yr MM sentence or worse...they'd probably try to bump it up to a life......so.....rules not a joke...reward not a joke........:smoke:)

I think all should always keep everything in mind.....and, just make it worth it given worse case scenario......

Yes, I live in BC the risk isnt as big (jail time) but the work load is still the same. I was always intrigued by the states because of the bigger profit margins but the laws scared me and hey this is my home. I love canada and never want to leave as much as I would love to set up indoor in cali and get my hands on those crazy kush prices!

Taking a break.......

So, what's the specifics?... (when did they go out, how much veg time/size before put out (assuming clones)...what did they finish at (height) and what kind of yields? (and how many to what size plots optional...always my curiosity.....)

And, if first time running late's......what would you do different next time?.....(as above....sometimes when running same strains, you can get a more precise handle on time and desired finishing, etc....)

I think newer growers (or newer to late runs) might get something out of answers to all....

Well, as above or elsewhere......I'll take a house arrest over 4k a p :smoke: (and, vs. versa.....rewards proportionate to risk....less risk more volume possible, lower price...more risk, higher price and volume more difficult....etc....)

All relative man...all relative (see, I would say the opposite......would be nice to face lesser penalties but be able to produce whatever volume needed for target amounts ($) per batch or per yr....

As above....my personal impression of Cali from what I see and hear is it is much less favorable than many make it out to be.....(I see "legit" grows get taken quite often......legit growers busted more often...etc.....every time I look at anything has quite a bit of unfavorable news......Seems like while some perceived safety lurking somewhere.....would still have to run things as though anywhere else in US to be safe...make sure...etc.....I'd be more worried about shopping at stores in Cali (for volume equipment and supplies) then some other states......

Haven't had such issues in a while..(I can't even remember last time such issues actually....)

Absolutely..............without a doubt I am pleasantly surprised......(could mean my expectations for quality were not high to start with, but...yeah, it's very, very nice stuff.....much more so than I expected....(solid, dense, quality, yield, size/growth, etc.......all across the board very pleased and will run them again......First time I ever have.....always waved it off...thought was a yielder and not quality, butdefinitely not the case.....

(You know....we all tend to be snobs quality wise......for the average person?....it's hardcore.....threw a couple tastes out of it and "average" people very pleased...
