what about the herb itself ...

j ... in your world what do you consider to be a good price $ for grade "a" outdoor grown ... per pound/unit

thx again for the considerable amount of time and attention that you give this thread everyday

peace ... star crash

I just typed a huge in depth reply, didn't go through, and lost it (I would remind all to cut and paste before sending it through in case gets lost....I always do, but, had another email I did it and lost it....)

In volume a little different, but, last crop I ran (BOG Sour Bubble, last version... had pics up of dried and cured product, very nice, purple and resin was unbelievable), went for anywhere from 2750 in bulk to into 3's, ps I give to people (close friend, etc), about 250 z or so.....which they said better than stuff people offered them for 400.....

Bulk you have to give the discuount, how it works....

My world, really nothing runs more than like 2200-2600 in bulk...Hard to say because all depends on what it is, etc...

For example:
Entire batch, many strains, some more sun, some moms better, etc, etc....so....I might do some for 1600.....I might do some for 3200.....more of some things...less of others...and, of course, nicest stuff always gets more attention overall and saved for later, etc...(better trim, longer cure, etc...), so, all depends what it is, and, another bonus (and downfall) of volume...(even if running all same clones, etc....some plants just better than others, in or out...too many variables on space used..(ie: in would be things on corners as compared to things centered more, etc.....

What I usually do is pick through from start my ps out of everything, and, that gets the longest cures and most care, and, eventually, just start smoking so much that I want to get rid of it and get it all away from me so I dump that off, and that is the top end of the range.....can be up to 4....but, I'm pretty good about that and always try to do what's "fair"...(and, inevitably I start asking partners for ps and they start the "DUDE, WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU...you have like ____ a couple weeks ago....and now you need some?" :biglaugh:....but, of course, with me...kind of a revolving thing, I never pay, nor do they....because we just make up for it on next one.....Likewise...if someone is in a pinch, need extra, they just get it and we readjust next time....so.....kind of like........a....."personal bank" :smoke: (Helped might be in a tight spot, so, instead of 5...we might throw him 20...and, then, we just redo next time, etc "work it off", etc, etc...)

The other aspect is I really don't do anything anyway, try not to touch it or be around it, so, someone else does it and I have to take care of them so that puts me back at lower figure (ie: even if someone would offer 3600......person still needs something, so, that puts me right back down to 3-32, etc.....)

Bulk changes it.....cause discount, etc...I really never see anything, anywhere, anytime for over like 2600 in bulk, so, has to be pretty special....and, priced reasonably, but, as above, all depends what it is......larger crop can literally be 60 different things and prices.......(overall, start to finish), but, I always try to keep it fair......

Everyone has to make their piece.....

Really...to me...no reason anything should be ion a smaller level past like 275.......I don't care what it is...if I don't have anything, see something....275...if not...I don't want it, will smoke something else......I don'
t care......matter of principle :smoke:.....I don't need it.....Friend of mine saw something nice, picked up a bag (z) for himself...I just told him roll me one and that's enough.....not going to spend that (again, not cheap, just principle...)

Volume long term relationships, etc...anything past 24-26.......better be spectacular.....(and, people will say they see different things, etc, but, again, long term and volume?....We never see those kinds of prices...doesn't matter what it is.......)

You know...all the high prices...that's consumers....singles with no relationship, etc..(or just unreasonable, unfair people.....)

Sorry to get you all fired up there Julian. Hard to help people sometimes.
:biglaugh: eh, just "uppity" :biglaugh:
makes me think about people hanging out with others not quite on their level to feel better about themselves.
I think the reverse of it is the people providing the feedback....makes them nervous that one will advance past them......People have a problem with people being "better than them"......(which is silly to begin with...Bona Fortuna....All the best.....) If all strived to be better and something more than they are actively, world would be a better place....
Leads to problems down the road, as there is no inspiration to improve yourself, and you limit your exposure to what is possible. Comes down to some have a natural 'vision', some need to be shown, and some will never see past their 9-5er(nothing wrong with that, some just don't have the stomach to handle risk)
I think it all comes down to desire.......They say "desperation leads to inspiration"......Unless you really want something. .....most people never begin anything.......

(I have a pretty colored history that some are aware of, and, won't share here, now....but......I didn't always do the things I do......and, have seen the extreme lows as much as anyone else.....)

Let's just say one of the reasons I always try to enforce focusing on more long term objectives, growth, business, etc....because..."the game"?....well....who knows.....wouldn't be the first time someone found themselves almost 30 and penniless, no credit, no job history, no education....

Such happens occasionally to people who think it most wise to "stay off the grid"......

Single chain of events can change someones life dramatically.......

(People always see busts........large busts...etc...they think "wow....that's a lot"......)

I think "Holy fuck....someone just got wiped out financially"....That was someones retirement.....all their money.....they can't continue because now too hot...no one will front...everyone cuts em off because too hot, etc......)

Has happened before to people.......best to focus, grow, utilize money wisely, etc.....a single year can set many up for life financially if on right path......

Nothing lasts forever.....(of course, when your young.......you think otherwise.....:smoke:.......Don't see or imagine tomorrow.......think everything lasts forevere :smoke:)

Nothing does.....

Not even your own life :smoke:....
surround yourself with people who are more successful then yourself and there is a pretty good chance you'll be succesful as well. they must be doing something right.
There is a saying....I love it...it's true, and, I think one of most important any will ever hear who want to achieve more.....
[/quote]
You become/are who surrounds you....

(Of course the reason is the change in thinking, etc....Anything and everything affects our outlooks, how we think, who we are.....)
people think about money in different ways. It can do or can't do alot of things for you, depending on how you look at it.
Of course......and, even many in between those......

On a different note and related to above in many ways and anything else...Problem is more most make, the more they spend, which of course leads no where good, and, one becomes dependent upon their current levels, which are not going to remain.......

Ideally, one should keep expenses the same, channel funds into positive things (investments, something beneficial) or even try and reduce expenses or at least be more aware.....
Anyways Im off to look at some properties and make some money :muahaha: 30k thats more then alot of families of four live on for a whole year, lunch money for some.
:biglaugh: I've always used that phrase :biglaugh:

Very true though....people sometimes lose track.......

(I always say....I'm far from cheap, but I'm not fuckin stupid either :smoke:....:biglaugh: I figured out I was doing that in PS and didn't like it :biglaugh: Could do any one of 100 things with it instead...could give to family, etc, etc...anything....)
GG- RE agents- find the top producers in your area, most agencies will have some sort of accolades for there company. These are the agents who are getting deals closed. They will be able to put in touch with a number of excellent lenders. It would be impossible for them do be at the top without a rolodex of good lenders. Most people don't buy residential properties without financing and need to get loans.

Yeah, see, I disagreed above....."top producers"..usually can't stand em, and, really, the only reason they are has nothing to do with their performance, it's more their advertising budget.......(I could take anyone off the street and train them to do even better in a day or so........(12hr day...20hr day :biglaugh:)....I like the little guys...they appreciate it more, they work harder, more loyal, etc....

:biglaugh: I'm assuming those numbers are off since even at 1 per sq ft that would equal like....120 acres (solid)...:biglaugh:

1 per 2 sq. ft. would equal 250 solid acres........

Nah.......am interested though to see more :smoke:

:biglaugh:

Those fuckin guys :biglaugh:

You'd be better off scoring a 1,000 acres in South Africa, (700k) making a deal to be safe, and shipping it out....:smoke:

Edit: I saw a vid on that and while "cool", eh...I dunno man......didn't really support the numbers.....You know man, plus they probably work the numbers for Fed funds and stuff.....so......Would love to see and know more though :smoke:)

not quite sure how that helps GG and the masses.

Am with you on finding someone you are comfortable talking to.

Well yeah... drug agents' math is generally off by at least one order of magnitude. I don't think anyone with the mental capacity to manage simple arithmetic would seriously consider "drug agent" as a career path.

Illustrating point of importance of someone you like, rapport, get along with, understand, etc.......

"Experience" really doesn't vary too much across the board.....2 yr agent can perform everything the same as 20yr agent....A deal is a deal is a deal....Rookie has a question?, they ask broker....not a problem....

For some reason that reminds me of the episode where Christopher was "lost" talking to Pussy...trying to identify his "arc".....

"What about my arc?....where's my arc?"....

Pussy says "You know who had an arc?............Noah" :biglaugh:

On a note regarding suitable locations, and, how soil of some locations is not suitable for planting....

Was looking through some pics, and how's this for suitable "soil" :biglaugh: Of course, what do you expect for a place on a public streets, in middle of a city, with cops driving on both sides less than 15 feet away.. Not perfect, but, by all means not bad for things a couple weeks old, planted in public, planted in rocks, and, left alone and completely ignored:smoke:.....In rocks........no water.......no holes......( I dumped a couple gallons of nutes around a bunch because was there checking anyway, so, figured might as well.....

Edit: I left out the ones with the buildings in pictures, for ID purposes :biglaugh:

Another shot of that award winning soil.....:smoke:

Note: As far as usefulness of crystals?.......All those are more than a week probably (up to 2) without rain and lately in upper 90's because space completely exposed and no ground cover...(Why I brought something...figured would carry what I could and dump it....couldn't hurt since was checking anyway....) I think the majority of those are fairly new and recent ones because none of the larger in those pics...those are all smaller ones fairly recent planted..

Well, problem is with such ground cover (or lack of), gets absolutely brutal....When in high 90's....surface can probably be well into 120's....130's....etc.....(one will note a lot of them turning....too much, too intense sun....Will eventually get some better ones, but, was about 1am....just stopping for a quick check because many days in 90's, no rain.....had to do a quick pass by and make sure everything was okay for now....(make it to next rain....)

Back to issues of penetration...once established, they can make it.....but, still early on....always a problem....Had some other pics of parts with buildings right behind, etc, but, didn't add because could be firm identification of spots.....those could be anywhere in the state....on any one of 4-5 different lines.....but, wanted to give an example.......I was there anyway.....

That stretch, they are basically planted like that, some single file, some double rows , for......maybe over a mile or more?..(That's stretch up to 700 of em..)..They're all later, smaller...there are some over there that are much larger and making me uncomfortable......but, again...all single file worked as far back into vegetation as possible....

(As has been mentioned....the issues is that the later the season gets the more the surrounding vegetation will grow, so.....I kind of try to allow...some cases not enough, some cases too much, but, overall......works well.....)

When I plant I of course clear all rocks off surface in a swipe or two, then they get worked back into place by movement...

All in all though, consider no maintenance and the location they are in.....I think they're doing well....a soild heavy storm a week for next 2 weeks (painting face, lighting fire, starting to dance :biglaugh:, should be enough to carry them through....Have some FMS PP's that are about 3 foot solid colas....)

Also, what I like best and have said before about such open spots, is between sun (density) and wind from passing traffic, they are usually pretty strong...(stalks like bamboo..literally....)

That soil looks alright. The other weeds in the immediate area- even the grape- seem happy enough. In my experience, anywhere that supports a good growth of weeds like that will work. In the American Midwest, it's almost hard to find places with truly bad soil.

Thanks for the picks Julian. I know security is an issue, but I for one would be interested in seeing the photos of plants near buildings even if the buildings are obscured. I think I have a sense of how you are able to plant late out in the open near train tracks, but I'm very curious to see what it looks like right in the middle of a city.

Thanks,

Alright? How could you see through the rocks :biglaugh:....Yeah, rocks, sand, and soot basically is what that is :biglaugh: Not Midwest....more East of course......

Of course, as above and you know...issue is I can't plant too far in vegetation, because of course, in a month, will have grown another several feet out..........(The city spots I can't "trim" per se....don't want to get caught with clippers, so, pretty much I just stomp things back that need to be :biglaugh: (break off with hands, step on, etc, etc....)

Another issue with such spots as all face I assume in any area of the country is all those spots are basically embankments(embankments? hills?...right?)...so, of course, you go for level, but, level ground might be too exposed......You go farther (bottom of embankments I am sure are gold..(more moisture, better soil, etc.....but, of course then you have the issue of being overrun by other vegetation which grows extremely fast....really it's touch and go overall...truly....just go for what you feel at the moment, when planting......(can't really be "perfect" every time, ya know?.....but....overall.......as you see......not too bad......they're doing fairly well (some better than others, etc)....and, the important thing is I bring em in :smoke: (ie: I don't sweat "ideal" conditions......I don't sweat yield (per plant, etc) is off target, not "ideal"...(cause numbers....)so....I mean...you know...can do it, can bring em in.....(want to get some pic of city flowering things.....have some PP that are underway I saw quick.....bout 3 foot more or less single colas...(strong as hell due to wind :biglaugh:

I was just looking through what I had (pics), trying to illustrate points...I think there are others in gallery and at least one you can see streetlights and car headlights :biglaugh: (was like, 1am and I had to use flash, so.....just took a couple and did mu business :smoke:)

Yeah, but if you take the building out, really loses the effect (plus you can't really gauge distance.....maybe I can leave just a corner? :smoke:....the streetlights and cars...one can see...Maybe when I step back in later will edit 2 pics I have (streetlight and building about 20 feet away :biglaugh:)

The vegetation one has to keep in mind (same almost any city entire country)...you have a border of vegetation between tracks and streets..so.....the vegetation one sees in those pics...not more than like 10 feet deep and then.....back to civilization :smoke: (I would love to get a shot of cop car instead of train next to plants...: smoke:.....:biglaugh:

Have another one or two also with streetlight...you can see, about 20 feet away (and, of course, that is on the street :smoke:)

Edit: Have to run, just in for couple minutes, but, will be back around later to offer some extended notes on city spots overall which might be found of use....:smoke:

And before the thieves start wandering all the tracks in a 20-40 minute radius of DJ's neighborhood.......:biglaugh:..I would say....think twice, because, while I don't believe in traps..(just bring heat)...everyone knows I carry when I jog :smoke:...and, tracks are a dangerous place.....accidents happen all the time :smoke: :biglaugh: Usually not enough left of victim to be able to identify a gunshot wound....:smoke: (I budget for theft....couple for a sample is fine, but, you show up with hefties?......well, I hope your affairs are in order :biglaugh:

I also have a couple quick little notes on general conditions to add that most don't really think about........(actual downfalls, but how if one is aware of them, can use them to your advantage :smoke:

See, as mentioned prior.....that's my general rule...even in deserts you have water sources and patches of growth indicating it's a good spot......

But.....

Not always the case...., especially when transferred into urban environment and using crystals and such....(lot of places weeds are down, grass is burned, etc, but, planted with crystals, before rains, etc...might pull them through, but, I'd say overall a completely valid point.....If vegetation fine (weeds)......it's a good spot....

Julian very nice words of wisdom you have written here for everyone. My buddy and I started our own venture into this realm (indoor) last year, both of us testing things out and experimenting around...learning a little more than just the basics....enough to be dangerous.

I've got to say though, I never really thought of doing what was suggested by this thread and I've read every single page of it. I follow along weekly thinking goddamnit this man is reinforcing many of the thoughts I've had to myself. Fear of stepping outside of the box, outside of the norm. That fear must be conqured for anyone to get anywhere, cuz as George Clooney said in the movie I was watching last night "You get the courage after you do that thing you're afraid of."

Anyway...I'm about a year and a half outta college, got a bachelors and started working for a company. I realized one thing in that last year and a half...this is not all I will amount to in my life. Its not good enough for me. I can not simply climb my way up the fucking corporate ladder till I come to a screeching hault at the age of sixty something and I retire with probably as much as I started with :wallbash:!!!

My friend and I have always worked shit together, maybe its the comfort of knowing you have someone else to fail with if shit doesn't work...but I think not...I think its cuz we're the sorta friends that understand each other and have the same mentality, so when we suceed in this line of "work" (and I have no fantasies about it, it will be work indeed) we'll be the only ones who can say yeah man we fucking did it...cuz many others would never understand...."growing weed!!! thats not smart/bad/legal/moral/right"...how many words are there to describe it...well they've all been brainwashed by our government.

With that said, here is the situation, we want to do this and we will...none of that "ahhh...errrr...hmmmm...gonna have to think about it" bullshit. I bought a house at the beginning of this year and got me some roomies with which to pay my mortgage and things are looking OK for me (but I'm dire NEED of that extra cheddah...you know what I mean :biglaugh:). As for my buddy hes in the midst of looking for that first home and we wanna work the op outta his place. Before the end of this year things should be rolling smooth... :joint:

We've worked out the what, the when, the where....and we've got 1/2 the how (growing) under our belt. But we've got one small problem, the connections. I know a couple people, he knows a couple, might be able to move an lb or 2 in a month or so but after that we're stuck...now I know you had mentioned that there was a write up in the INDOOR thread, but I think it has been deleted as you said it might have. I would love to hear your thoughts on how to get those connections, you know, the bigger guys.

We've been thinking about going to some festivals and things like that to meet people but lets face it....everyone thinks your a cop and you think everyone could be one too...hard to trust people these days...we've had to learn that the hard way.

Of course you can just pass it out amongst friends, but hell...where do you think that first 2 lbs would go. :YaRight: As you said, anyone can do this if they have the drive...its true...but not anyone can move lbs and lbs if they start off with a season of say something as small as 1000 even. I'd like to hear your experiences and some parts of your story from the beginning relating to this, and I know others who are involved in reading this thread daily ( :jump: I know you are all out there) appreciate it as well.

Well, mother earth can always use a few more babies...so holler when you aren't busy planting your seed in her...
