Here's a hypothetical for FM and everyone.

What do you do if your main distributor disappears (or just gets out at the last minute) and you have...say 10 pounds to move? Not a whole lot but not a little bit either. Anybody else who got any in the past was just personal friend but not the distributor type.
invite a few of your best friends over and a bunch of beautiful woman, go on the roof and stuff some old towels down your fire place, throw that shit on the fire and hotbox your house lol.

Get out now. You've been in the clink, are you willing to sacrifice a few G's for that? He's shooting his mouth off, others know where the op is, no question. He will roll on you if leo picks him up. I have seen guys rat buddies out on large ops to get out of something as simple as a traffic violation ticket.
If he becomes a problem after the fact, you're in a better position to take care of the problem. It really is that simple.

Can we get back to the massive indoor commercial grow now? ;)

Stay safe

THIS IS YOUR BEST ADVISE RIGHT THERE

the doods a fuckstick and a retard. you know damn well he told a few of his thuuug gangsta friends about it. Best case scenario they only have a clue/guess about the fact hes got a grow going. Worst case they are waiting until his stupid ass tell them "really soon" so they can rob your ass. Im not trying to be a dick dood i just hate wigger chumps and the way they operate.

4 guys with guns came into my first place and shove a gun into me and my girlfriends faces and I wasnt even growing back then that was jsut for weed$ when i was 19. You dont want to be a paranoid nut like me that sleeps with a .45 for the rest of your life.

do the smart thing , cut your losses, tell the prick to fuck off. Find a new location. Give him the money till the end of the lease to avoid bad blood. Do it business like and without emotion. he fucked up...he knows it. Toss em some compensation bucks so you can sleep at night.....In a bed not attached to the wall :chin:

Undoubtedly, in the top 3 threads I have ever read. This includes the old days on OG. FullMonty was excellent leading the thread with excellent support threaders.
I think the point you made about wanting to be the "Big Guy" was so totally true and well spoken. Do you really want to do what it takes to stay in that position? Jalousies, rivalries, etc. become a vacuum of the good Karma most MJ users posses. It can become an ugly world very quickly and you find yourself in a velvet prison. Velvet can cut like shards of glass at times to the very center of your soul.
I think most of us start out with small and very nobal goals and expectations and if not careful can be diverted into a sewer of despair if not on our guard and making good choices.
I find that many including myself start off on a quest to have our own supply of "horticultural delight" that will free us from the criminal and financial pipe line our governments have forced us to sip from, but along the way our self will runs riot and plunges us even deeper into the debasing stream we originally wanted relief from....... And then these same governments use these stories to further vilify the sacred herb.
I mean no disrespect or detraction of those that do profit on a commercial level. Most of us would never know of the sweet herb if not for the far reaching impact the financial gain of trading it brings to the world. But the displays of hostility such as displayed not long ago in Canada (even though the true story was not much publicized) hurts all of us including those medical users.
I hate to see our peaceful communities be painted with those of death dealers and others with traits that are so unlike the typical partaker of the herb. I am glad that there are those people like Ed Rosenthal to make a good model for our cause and at the same time profit and still inspire us to higher standards.

Peace

you say go BIG or go home, but what about plant numbers??(knock on wood) but if I was to get knocked I'd rather get caught with 20plants rather than 200-600...!! I won't be making $500k but, if caught I might come out with my priceless freedom.....

damn dude 1MM less than 2yrs...kudos to u if you can pull it off, but shit I would imagine you'd have to make this hobby a fulltime job.. honestly 100k yr. is a dream for me at least and not a lot of people are in a position to pull those numbers legally.... in such a shady business movin that much weight would leave me with many sleepness nights, but I guess that's the price u pay to be the BOSS!

Now I see where your getting that figure monty, and with a great trustworthy likeminded business partner that money can do wonderful things .. you emphasis not getting out, I would think with enough legal investments and assets ultimately you can get out for good, but i'll take your word my friend .. all the best and thanks for the schooling you putting on.

This is a great thread, I started taking notes half-way through but need to go back and re-read. Monty, I appreciate the business advice. Some of this applies to ANY business since it is so cut-throat these days in nearly ALL sectors.

There is truly much food for thought in this thread.

Thanks!

Any Advice on "Late Season Mini-Grow"?

Any Advice on "Late Season Mini-Grow"?

I want to thanks all who have contibuted to this thread - Full Monty especially. In the midst of this, F.M. mentioned his/her prefered method (fastest & safest) was the "late season mini grow". I am unfamiliar with this method, and want to know more. Specifically, I was wondering:

1) Does this method involve an indoor vegatative growth period with the teenagers being taken outside for the final 90 days to maturity?
2) Is there a specific strain that is best suited to this method?
3) Does the site have to have a lot of pre-plant prep done on it?
4) Does the plant have to be pruned /trimmed to maintain its low profile?
5) Are night visits with watering can in hand needed?

Any further info on this "mini" method would be greatly appreciated. I'm one of those who would rather use mother nature as much as possible. This sounded like a good means for doing so.
Thanks -

Massive Props to Monty!!

Massive Props to Monty!!

Your Fullness-
As always, your answers are above and beyond the call...
Thank You!
I was particularly struck by the idea of planting along the railroad right-of-way. "mile after mile after mile". Chuckle.
I imagine that when you are planting such numbers across such distances, that tending to them on some regular basis is impossible.
So, is it a case of "plant 'em and forget 'em" 'till that time when you suspect it is harvest time?
Is the idea to plant a lot and hope for the best knowing that there will be attrition (weather, animals, maintenance crews etc. etc.)?
Is harvest done at night with that ski-mask and a pounding heart?
I did 400+ miles on the interstate this past weekend. The drive was made more interesting by imagining all those tree lined spots along the south edge of the road making perfect places for a geurrilla grow.
All on Uncle Sam's land.
Railroads probably a better idea.
Can you hear the whistle blow?
Thanks again for your time.

monty has alot of good things to say. If it doesnt feel right, BAIL. I had a commercial location busted and just weeks before i told my partner, i think we should move but we didnt and the X factor came in, my stupidity by leaving a hose on all day and flooding the place. His advise to hit and run is good

However not to bust his chops, his real estate advise is a little misleading. sure 100% loans are out there for OO (owner occupied) but you have to live in them. And 100% loans are going to be harder to get, lenders are taking big hits and the forclosure rate is increasing. He suggests buying and refing to get cash out. not that simple. you can only refi 90-95% out on OO and around 70% on NO (non-owner occupied) properties. Also 100% financing does not happen on NO properties. And the more properties you own, the harder it is to get loans. Most lenders stop when you have 10 properties, then you have to find lenders who work with investors and will put all your properties in one loan

He has good advise, just dont go out and think its cake walk, its not

Hey Montey, since you know what your talkin about ill direct this question to you. if you dont mind.
I have 600sqft of space to work with.
would 2 10'' vortex inline fans be sufficient to vent the space, they are rated at 790 CFM. I am not sure bout the conversion from sqft to cfm. or will i want to consider the 12'' vortex?

Mont-ster!! About that jog along the train tracks...

Mont-ster!! About that jog along the train tracks...

Most Montyfull-
Jeez. While looking to learn how to sneak some spleef cultivation, I find myself attending a Real Estate Finance 101 class. No shortage of knowledge here!
It is appreciated.
But back to the railroad for a second...
While weighing the positives/negatives (private property, maintenance crews etc.)of stealth growing along the tracks, you briefly touched on an encounter you had with LEO while jogging. PLEASE elaborate.
I ask this as one who, using your inspiration, immediately remembered a stretch of well foliated tracks that I could jog along. What would look like my getting some exercise would actually be my gathering grow intelligence. Should I be worried about cops (municipal, state, or railroad's own)being wise to my kind?
Thanks in advance.

Havent read this whole thread yet but I intend to.. Alot of graet info here.

FullMonty..... great job. Good to have a bonafide "heavyweight" lacing up the others guys that need help avoiding the pitfulls and possible traps set. You have to be conscious of A LOT of variable, especially if you go BIG. BIG is the way... but you have to be on top of your game. It is easy to say "TRUST NO ONE" but in reality you have to put some type of faith in someone...... Even if its the guys your are dumping yor load on... Faith that if he gets pinched that he don't roll.
A sad truth folks..... If you deal, especially on a large level, you have to ask yourself, are you ready to go the whole way? Meaning this, scenario......... Say you are dealing with a "friend" and he is getting pounds from you on a regular at a great number. He gets jammed up... then he tries to continue and grab from you afterwards... Unknowingly to you though, he is cooperating with the law man!!!! NOW, you stand a lot to lose..... A family that depends on you, and this jerk just got popped and is jepordizing everything. Now you have noticed survilleance on you and to make matters worst you have about 600 pretty gals 6 weeks in bloom.... The best thing you having going is that they DON'T know you grow but know you sell big time....... This asshole fucked up everything........What do you do?? Are you prepared to go the whole way?? SAD TRUTH folks......... Rat pieces of shit are out here, and in abudance too!!!! BE safe......

You guys are spending WAY to much brain power analyizing this nutjob. From a professional point of view it's not worth it. The next time he goes on one of his temper tantrums, hold a Glock to his head and ask him to please explain his point again. This business is not a game. If you feel you are in jeopardy because of an unreasonable person, protect yourself. Always remember that we are criminals in the eyes of the law.
Will you squeeze the trigger???? THEORETICALLY SPEAKING OF COURSE!!!!!!!
