Even still, fucktard?, it's retarded from the get go. Read and learn, then apply what you've learned to your own massive grows. Hypothetically speaking, you will go to prison for some dumb shit like that. The very reason I can't smoke a joint in a peace is because people, like you, grow massive amounts and push it like scarface with dope.

No?

Again, no need for name calling; and no dumb is not a name. I just don't find it wise to talk like that... keep it low key, no need for hypothetical attention.

I don't know about the rest of IC, but i'd say were here to learn and shit. Not fight over the internet... I guess I'm sorry for posting my 2 sense.

later on.

I was realy interested when you were talking about doing the "minis" and you thought that doing a field of minis outdoors was the best/safest way to go and that you would be willing to that anywhere any time.

I want to know more bc I was already debating this before, but not to the extent you mentioned. It would work perfect too if someone already had a good sized outdoor grow already going, you could take hundreds (if not thousands depending on size of garden) of clones off outdoors plants in late july right before flowering and it would be all lower branches that wouldnt get much buds and get pruned anyways. The outdoors plants would barely be phased and a HUGE supply of clones could be produced very quickly, vegged indoors for 2weeks to month and thrown outside for a late season field of minis.

This could supply an un-godly amount of cuts if needed.

Ceramic kilns burn on average 8400 watts and are in homes/small commerical buildings all of the time. They explain away all of the huge power uses. Some use welders as there cover but they need to be in use to explain the meter spinning. 50k gen-sets are available for rent in my area for around 1500.00 per month. The newer models are very quiet. Acoustic tiles in a garage and from the outside there is no sound. Full Monty is correct (about many things) but you need odor control, and not just "I think that will do it" attitude. Interesting thread. Im glad it is still active. Good vibes and keep the thread active.

I have 2 pairs of pants but 14 growlights. I eat top ramen while the plants get nutrient filet mignon. I sweat in the summers a freeze during the winter, but the plants are always at a perfect temperature, with CO2 as gravy. I can wait to buy things for myself. Right now everything gets invested back in the business.

I can't remember what my point was. I think it has something to do with being patient. lol

Yep, all good points.

Coming back from a growing hiatus my first harvest last year was 2000w. The next harvest I am just finishing is 4000w. I bought another 4 lights (600s) and will be changing over my 1000w lights to 600s and will have 10 in my room. So yeah, just like you said. 6 months ago I had 2 borrowed lights flowering. Next month there will be 10 that I own flowering. Not to mention the huge ammount of other random grow equiptment that was purchased along the line. If I had cashed out after first crop I would be living on the street.

Again......Pico and FM......Major respect for the input as far as you "Pico" spendin X amount of dollars to expand and dial in your several grows,as well as you "FM" teachin folks from the economics end of the spectrum.....Not many here have the knowledge or the discipline and cash to "walk before they run" so to speak in ANY of the MAJOR production end of it......If folks only knew how "HARD" it is to dial in a small grow much less go "commercial" with shit REALLY gettin outta control with mega-lights,controlled environment, and plants with yield anywhere NEAR the gram per watt and plus status, the thread would be less "WONKY"..... The pie in the sky end result would "DISCOURAGE" instead of primin folks for the "HYDRO STORE" sales pitch and feedin the retail demons for all the "shit they offer" that will never help your yield till you dial it in ........It`s about "all those yrs.".....Experience in economics, keepin your mouth shut, and havin a small part of a criminal mind might "help" keep yas outta jail if you`re lucky.............COVER YOUR ASS.........Nuff said......DHF....... :sasmokin:

Everything that goes "sideway`s" is WONKY........I`m sorry for carryin this shit this far and tryin to be accomodating ........DHF.........

I for sure wouldn't produce 30llb of the same strain. if we are talking business then I would assume diversifing ones inventory would be best to satisfy demand. should commercial grows be limited to the standard ak47/chronic strains ?? I should hope not , or at least I know I wouldn't. peace

well u preaty much covered every aspect throughout this thread my friend. but every time I browse this thread, I say to myself, no one should ever attempt such a risk as commercial growing if you do not have the ability and network of wholesale buyers to move so much product. I for one would not like to sit on 20lbs of weed while I wait for more orders. NEVER.

networking and being in the game,is just as important as everthing else mentioned in this thread.

Race down and put it all on your credit card in one shopping spre,e and you will not prosper.

Been wondering about that topic actually. Maybe another thread will pop up shortly.
Or we could discuss here?
So if one has plenty of available credit (revolving) could one safely (relatively) maximize one's credit to pay it back quickly without much notice? Id love to hear commercial growers thoughts on credit use for large grows. Btw I dont mean charging everything on one big ass limit card. I mean use of transfer checks, etc.
Maximizing your credit in the interest (heh) of paying it back and going bigger because of it? Seems like the perfect way to the 5000 grow.

FullMonty - Awesome info you're passing along here, thank you! You said you were leveraged 400:1, that wouldn't happen to be in the currency market would it? I'm quite familiar with the Forex, and dabble it in it daily!

Keep up the great posts man, this type of info sharing will greatly benefit many people, including myself.

Have you thought about writing a book??? E-book format, sell online, hmm, another side business perhaps?? LOL

Stay safe

You like The Wire huh? I lived in baltimore and let me tell ya fucked up city. It is funny that the city looks much nicer in that show then it does in real life.

What would one do w/ a decent amount of cash? I have read a few people say buy gold and bury it....

I didnt check the link but if its about The Wire, I gotta agree its a great show. I never watched it until I saw it on HBO On Demand and I literally watched every show back to back over 2 days! I LOVE the stone cold killer chick Snoop. It took me 3 shows to realize it was a girl tho lol. Very good all around show about the "game", whether the game is drugs, hits, politics, schools or police. (and apparently all interconnect according to the show)

EDIT: I didnt catch the season about the russian (or whatever) smugglers tho.

first off I gotta say, FullMonty you've given some fantastic information to all of us, I love hearing your perspective on all of this and I find myself thinking more about what you've said, and comparing that with my own op... most everything has been fairly close, apparently we have similar thought processes regarding the whole issue

I missed a few days, was reading some of the older posts on this thread, and I just gotta ask you a question as well as ask all my fellow ICmag members...

Edit: And, as partners are required in almost every larger project, always do your best to make sure psychologically, they are able to perform as needed.....they're straight, solid, dependable, honest, reasonable, rationale, understanding, logical, etc...

Hesitation is a no.

Currently I'm running what most would consider a large(er) op. One that would require a partner. Due to connections and trust levels the partner chosen was the person thats been a best friend since I was 9. (in my 20's now)

no other potential partners had/have as much knowledge of "the game" as this person and due to the YEARS we've known eachother it seemed to work the best.

Before starting anything physically, when it was the "on paper" phase, everything was perfect, all of it, down to the last cent and thought process, we were meshing perfectly.

Now that the op has started, equipment has been purchased, rental aquired, and grow started, (not to full max potential [yet] as we'll be doing a harvest 1 time per month [1/2 of max capacity every month roughly]). Well now that the grow has started... issues are arising.... every day.

I am the sole financer of this entire op, down to the last cent, the partners involvment comes in aquiring rentals, moving product, assistance in tending and trimming and various other misc things.

It has become abundantly clear that this person WILL NOT be psychologically OK. I think theres a severe case of 'stoner paranoia' (believe me I'm taking incredible amounts of precaution). However upon starting the op, a few weeks in it became clear, the reliability has dropped, the honesty has dropped, understanding of different ideas/thought processes and logic have SEVERELY dropped. This side of this person I have NEVER seen before, not in the entire decade plus I've known this person.

I wholeheartedly agree 100% with the hesitation comment, I'm hesitating having him involved... I have come to the conclusion that I am 100% sure that I do not want him involved. My question to you is this... since the op has already begun, and this side of my partner has been revealed, what would you reccomend as far as getting out...

Due to the changes in my partner, and his ethics (or lack thereof), I'm extremely tempted to cut ship completely without warning, remove everything that is mine (100% of grow equip, a few misc items/tools would be left behind [he owned them before the op started])

and completely cut this person out of the entire grow process without warning.

The way it would go down would most likely be not even informing him after the deed has been done (removing everything) but merely discontinuing contact with this person entirely... Upon him going to work/tend/whatever at the op, he'd notice that everything is gone... all of it...

I'm 100% certain he would have an idea of what has happened, try to contact me and upon realizing I wont return calls or contact him in any way shape or form, he'll most likely solidify his suspicion.

Me being the sole financer leaves my partner bearing no financial burden, the only loss he'd have to deal with is that of a rental (unable to afford without my assistance) and the grow itself (and all of the free herb and $$ benefits of being partners)

I feel morally this is wrong.... however due to the risk I feel he would eventually place me in, both with LEO as well as theft... I know it needs to happen.

Just curious on your opinions

Leave him a light or two so he can pay the rent... I wouldn't just leave without saying anything.. just tell him you don't wanna do it anymore and that you want out, etc.. find another place of residence far from that person(s) and start over..
