shmalphy, you and all your building this soil, can we please see some of your live soil pics in action, otherwise most of us will keep spending money on bene bacterica and we'll all be fools, like your calling most all right now. I simply tried to offer a lesson in soil science. I believe I posted a pic in this thread a few pages back that got a few good comments. I am more than happy with my plants, they are thriving in adverse conditions, my buds reek, and they are potent. If you don't want my advice, then don't take it. What the hell do I know anyway?

I truly think your a knowledgeable grower and I respect the fact you chose living soil as your method of growing buds, but no need to shove it down everyone's throats. I mean this is what makes growing great and this thread special, we all have are methods on how we like to grow our buds and we all time and time again show fire. The best part is we all do it a little differently so please contribute just don't be one of those guy's who is "right" ALL the time...

Cheaper does not equal better, unless you are infact cheap. To think that your microherd is stronger than someone who uses stuff like seagreen, roots excel, piranha, tarantula, etc is silly.

I actually loaded that pic up to show the mite damage in another thread to show how little of a problem they are lol. Keep in mind, it's mid summer, with heat waves, mites in full bloom outdoors, I don't use any chemicals, or toxic pesticide dunks, and I have never lost a plant to mites. They come and they go, I just spray em with a lil cilantro and they die.

The big difference about my grow and what I see here is that I wouldn't touch any of the chemmy buds I see in this thread with a ten foot pole, never mind serve them to terminally ill people. I would like to see the standard raised and see people STOP adulterating their cannabis with sprays that require you to "dress up like a ghostbuster" YMMV.

I kill all beneficials with DM Zone or bleach and keep things sterile and clean.

I also have a question on a couple local cuts I recently got. One is a blueberry sativa and the other is M.O.B.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pics or info on both of those cuts here but can't find them in this superlong thread. Wondering if anyone who's had it could share some pics or info I'm just curious what I can expect with these.

Ya, that pictured plant was for my thread titled "companion planting with garlic... See in biodynamics they don't allow ANY sprays, even garlic, but they allow companion planting with garlic, and so I gave it a whirl and it didn't work. I did get to eat some scapes and a clove tho!

That was also about 5 weeks in, and they got rinsed off. In my world, spider mites are not a big deal, but using chemical sprays is unacceptable for the people I keep in my inner circle. YMMV

I wasn't expecting anyone here to actually listen, and I certainly am not here to make friends. I am here to call out the people who rely on poisonous chemicals to grow buds. That shit is WEAK.
