now here is the veg room, of up coming plants they look healthy as could be with no sign of damage whatsoever, other than maybe asking for a little cal-mag....

Now what is the same about these plants and the cookies room is they received a avid dunk rather than sprays because I dunked all my new clones last run with the ez cloner for prevention, they also recieved a spray of conserve SC about 2.5 weeks after the dunking.

Now as far as the rest of the plants, they received 2 sprayings of Avid and 1 spraying of conserve SC no dunking cause they are just too big for me to want to dunk them.
the mother room...

cookie mom ( if I got BM's it came from her) looking good in veg and throwing plenty of pre-flowers, she went from being under a 400w MH to sharing a T-5 with the rest of the mom's so it doesn't bother me, but they're healthy and not dying at all.

The worst that has come from the mother room is leaves scattered around like these with some discoloration...

Now my room temp is in check been 78-79 with CO2 running and the humdity running at about 55%, so my environment is no excuse as to way things look like shit in this room. Can this possibly be a ventilation issue? I just expel all my air out of the room once the light are off, should I expel it once in a while while lights are on and just clear the room of CO2 and let it fill back up about 15 mins or so? Also another weird issue is that I know for a fact the flower plants and mom's/veg's were getting fed the same food before flowering and even up to day 7 and the mom's/veg plants look just fine....

I use water right from the tub and let it bubble 24 hours or longer before adding nutes and feeding, ppms are at around 100 after bubbling.

Ouch man so sorry for your troubles.

You don't have a scope bro to check for broad mites? You can grab one at Walmart and then return it after.

The closest call ever!!!

The closest call ever!!!

I was sitting on my couch watching tv when I felt the BIGGEST NUDGE to take a few pics of my SSSDH -SD Pheno. I already took plenty of pics at this stage so I dont know why I would want to take more? Right? I mean...Look at all the SSSDH pics Ive put up already.

So I obey the nudge and start taking pics. AT THAT MOMENT.......
A 600w HPS bulb dimms down to 1/4 power. The other lamp is shining brightly. I look at both bulbs then I look at my ballast and smoke is pouring out of it thickly.

I trip the breaker on my PXM-1 Power expander that has both lamps plugged into it. IF I WASNT HOME OR IN THE ROOM AT THE TIME THERE WOULD BE BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA. I would have come home to the fire and police in my grow rooms. I'M SO BLESSED!

It just so happened that I just unplugged my 600w ballast for veg. and put up a shop light for the clones so I had an extra 600w HPS ballast not in use at the time. Its too hot in the veg room w/ that lamp anyhoo so now I can get my 2 T-5's w/ 8 bulbs each. (1 for now until I have the cash for another) But thats what I needed anyways.

Out of anytime to burn out..... I was in the room and had an extra ballast not in use. WOW! GOD IS GOOD TO ME!

How long should a 600w HPS ballast be used for until I replace it?
Its just the econo-gro ballast for $180.

The problem being described as nute lockout isn't pH, per se, it has to do with degrees of the cationic saturations of the soil's exchange capacity. When there is too much K+, that will stick to any colloidal surface giving you incorrect ratios of available elemental Ca+, Mg+, NH4+. Adding more Cal Mag won't help, you need to correct the ratios.

Aloe plants are $4 at any nursery, and leaves are about $1 (BIG leaves) at aalmost any grocery store this time of year.

Thanx Shmalphy! I noticed a twist or two in the leaves of my worst hit SSH. Im hoping that after putting them in the flower room which is alot cooler, and feeding them at 1/4 strength nutes they will bounce back. I made sure the PH was spot on.

Alone, get a flame defender! It is under $100, and DEF better to come home to that thing going off that the popo...

A better solution to the "lockout" problem would be to add fresh exchange sites in the form of humates...

Im not sure what you mean by fresh exchange sites in the form of humates ???

And if a ballast was still running electricity through it and smoking badly...what would happen if the electricity kept going while the ballast is burning and then this flame defender foam is covering both my ballasts and filling it with foam??

I need to invest in one of these... One of the things you KNOW you should have but is so easy to put off...

I just studied up on Humates. TYVM Shmalphy. I just go into the hydro store and ask for humates...?....Or is their a product that has humates in it that I can buy?

He's talking about humic and fulvic acid... there are plenty of products out there that have em. I used liquid karma for years, it's good. Switched to seagreen recently par the advice from a buddy and it's awesome. Way more humic in it that LK (3.7% as opposed to .7%). Has a bunch other stuff in it too, surfactants to help with salt build up, some beneficials, some carbs to feed those beneficials, bunch other stuff. Just a really good product overall. Very reasonable price and low application rate.

Not all humus sources are created equal. Liquid Karma, or anything in sold in a bottle in liquid form ranks very low on that scale.

AACT (Actively Aerated Compost Tea) from good quality compost and/or EWC (earth worm castings) as a top dress or a tea are your best bet.

EWC also contain CaCO3 which buffers pH.

Not to mention the micro beasties... Google the term "disease suppressive soils" and see what you can come up with... It is all about the microherd...
