Good to be back at your thread Marlo.I love the way you are always tweaking stuff and striving to be a better grower. I think humble growers are the best..always looking to become better hosts for their ladies.

It looks like some pics were added since I fist saw the light mover... You're about to have a real jungle in there Marlo! Now I see why you gave the lamps so much travel. I'm excited to see your results. I think you'll smash .6gpw this time... ha ha...

Can't find anymore words to say! I'm checker boarding my lights (surta like a mover) and i'm finding out that bud size is not like that of a regulare stationary light. My buds just dont seem to have that gurth they did when I had them all stationary. Although this is my second run with most my strains so can't really say....

Looking forward to yet another awesome Marlo grow, you are always pushing it to the next level. Looking great so far and I think the mover is going to kick some ass, it will be like stacked bulbs.

Hello all.

Been a while since I updated. This setup is running pretty smooth. The yo-yo mover is working fine. No issues there so far. I may try and raise it up another few inches.
The plants are doing well. A few are showing some claw on the fans. Maybe from warm temps. I changed from my "winter" ventilation to my "spring" ventilation. Should be all good from here on out.
I wish I would've used the same size air pots all the way around. The 1.5g's dry out alil faster than the 3.4g's, but its nothing major.
Some of these pheno's look like they are very good vert plants. Nice and stretchy with not too much foliage. There is one of the SD's that is somewhat cramped in its spot, bcus she is very branchy. I hope she still has a chance to shine.

This setup completely eliminates any chance of cool pics with my updates. Its pretty hard to get good pics in there. Other than that, its rockin.

hey marlo.. all looks great man!

question on the bare-bulb..

what do you do when you water? Do you raise the bulbs out of the way or anything? Ever splash water on them? I could see myself doing that a few times

thanks man.. :)

Excellent use of a limited space and lighting. It looks like it's ready to bust out with buds. WOG...Walls Of Green, I like it :)

Is that the same as 3.4 gallons? I'm goin all 3.4 next time. The 1.5's dry out faster than I'm used to. Every other day is too fast for me.

Looking great, I see lots of bud sites.

Thanks Maj. The pics do it very little justice. I hope its easier to see when things swell up more.

No spills or mishaps yet. :)
I wait til the mover has the far bulb all the way up, and turn it off... Then I hang the close bulb on an extra hook hangin from the cieling, safely out of the way. From there my long ass arms can easily get my water wand all the way to the back, and work my way to the front.
Its not ideal, but manageable.

Stop teasing me man :biglaugh:

the airpots im using next run aer 10L thats about 2.2 Gallon... im using 6L - 1.5 gallon.. i think the 3.4 are 15L and thats way to big IMO for your setup... my grow bro grows 16/18 oz trees in them lol try the 10L ones first im sure you will be very happy with them :D

The 3.4g's are already bought and paid for. I used to run 3g pots, so when I bought the airpots, it made sense. I'm gonna cut down the # of plants next round, cuz they get big in the 3.4g's. I agree... they'd be way to big for a stadium.

I went to check on the girls last nite and it feels like they chunked up alot in the last 2 days. Budsites are developing everywhere from top to bottom. Since the plants are all against the wall and basically flat, I haven't chopped too many baby inner branches....bcus there really are none. What used to be the back of the plant, is basically spread out sideways and gets as much light as all the other branches. We'll see how this holds up against the LARF test. For the same reason, I haven't chopped many fan leaves. Normally by now I'd be removing about 20-30 fans every couple days to keep things in line. After the 1st cleanup job, I've been removing less than 10 leaves every other day.
Even though these plants are alot bigger than my usual girls, they are not constricted by the screen. They are actually allowed to stretch and not get tied down. So there are usually alot more fan leaves in a confined space.

I hope that makes sense. I just had my morning smoke.....

Just a thought for the future...do you have room and is it worthwhile to build a tray or whatever to sit a plant on the door itself along with the netting? You'd just have to be careful opening and shutting the door.

Not really, but I do have a plant in a 1.5 gal pot in that space you are talking about. Its just not attached to any netting, and gets removed whenever I need to get in there. Its doing well, but as it fills out, it looks like it might be taking light away from the plants on the ends a bit. I may or may not use it for the next run.
