It's always a pleasure to pop into your threads, Marlo! Im a big fan of the barebulb vert 400 club!
I also use a bare bulb 400 and can pull a couple zs per plant, but im still dialing it in!

I hear ya on the used soil piling up, i purchased a portable A/C this year so that i could dedicate myself to hydro. Growth rate is off the charts when it's dialed.

Anyway, things are looking awesome as usual, keep it up!!

The bare bulb vert 4oo have been damn good to me. I really think this new setup has opened up some potential for my room. I'm gonna wait til all is weighed and jarred before I make my judgment, but I like it alot so far. Makes maxing out my space possible.

I always think about going hydro too. My 1st grow was passive hydro with a medium called Turface. Great stuff, but my 2nd grow was Soil/Coco and my plants have been green n healthy every since. I have about 50 gallons of turface that I keep thinking about. That stuff is infinitely re-usable too.

Maybe I'll put some thought into it over my summer break. I'm sure the Rezipe would work great with turface.

Happy Father's Day to you too bro!

I'm jarrin em up today. This was the slowest dry I've ever had. Even in this warm weather. Finally found a great way that works for my situation.

Congrats again on the RKS bro. I've been on a few of those lists and didn't want to throw my name in again, especially since I knew I was shutting down. You gonna do a helluva job dude. That list is full of some serious growers.

I'm really lookin forward to the next grow also. Gonna make some improvements to the closet and then its on again. Big plants are in the plans

Yea, the Sour Bub is some great smoke. I'm probly gonna hang on to my lime pheno SB....I just don't plan on runnin it again for a while. Indica doms always put me to sleep. This other one I have going from seed is long and lanky with the smallest buds I've seen in a while. She won't be comin back.
I promise you will love that Strawberry D. Find the right pheno, and you'll be hooked bro.

The room is going smooth. Yield is looking pretty good, but there are some less productive areas that will be eliminated next run.
SFS #9 is a low producer. I don't think her root system ever took off. She drinks far less than any other plant in the room.
The SB in the back left is a disappointment. Big node spacing with tiny buds, and lots of fan leaves. I've thought about yanking her early and spreading the others out for the last 20+ days....

Other than that, its pretty nice in there. The SD IBL side is looking productive. A bit crowded, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The SFS is half and half. #5,#6,#7 are tall plants, nice buds from top to bottom. Excellent vert plants imo. #8,#9 are not so productive. Overall, its going well. I expected these issues running from seed.
Still pretty amazed at how few fan leaves I have removed up to this point. I see some popcorn I should have removed, but I wanted to see how the mover would affect the lower popcorn. It definitely helped. I think it will help more if I use from the start instead of a few weeks into flower. The stretch was jsut about done when I put the mover in. We'll see next run.

All pics are day 54. They were fed for the last time. Straight water until day 75+. Sb's will be yanked before then tho.

I love seeing your work, Marlo. Kicking some ass there bro! Are you still happy with the airpots? I tried them but they wernt for me, I'd love to give the smart pots a go though. Do you find that you have to water more often?

wsup LL.
The mover is definitely a winner imo. There is more indirect light with the mover, but its covering more area than the more intense stationary light. Some strains like it better than others. So I just have to keep my room full of the plants that do best in here.

Because of the mover, and the wall training, I really think it would be possible to move up to 2 x 600 in here. The training worked out so well, I ended up with more clearance than I expected. For my fall and winter grows, heat would not be a problem. And with the lights moving, I doubt any bleaching would set in. 1200w in this lil space would be cool to see.

:)

Training the plants back to the wall worked great for me. You should have lots of space.

The only concern I have, is hanging the plants from a thin wire. Try making a shelf in there. You don't want any accidents.

Still running the airpots. I love em. They're perfect for my setup. The smartpot rocked too. It needed more water, more often...but that could be because I had my sour bubble mom in there. She is notorious for having beastly roots, and she had plently of time to fill the pot. The construction of the airpot works better for me tho.
Gonna run all 3.4 gals next run, and give the plants plenty of time to fill the pot with roots.

Okay, i see your point, so what i'm going to do is make a PVC support, out of 2" pipe. That will be low profile, and give the upper pots something to put the weight on. I will just pin the top of the pot to the wall. I will wrap the PVC in a reflective insulation to give it a finished look. This 2" PVC tube FRAME will also add support to the tent as a whole. And give me a nice clean hiding space for airline drip hoses!

Hey Marlo all is good here man, I made the mistake of not packing my airpots, you'd have near needed an umbrella and a pair of wellies in the grow room come watering :) Smart pots work better for my setup. But I'll be experimenting with the air pots in the future.

So still doing a bit pf planning. Still kinda stumped on plant numbers.

Im thinking 3 gall' air pots now, 5 per wall lower, 2 gallon airpots
5 per wall upper shelf.

Put the Sativas in the 3gall' And a nice compact, thick, bushy, indie in the top 2 gallons pots.

This make's any sense at all??

Next problem im stumped on........

When i water the top pots, it's going to get a might messy below mate! With water run off, dripping down below......... arr'! :)

So? CRICKETS! Any ideas? Only thing i come up with is a sponge and rubberbands, to catch the little overflow, removing after the watering stops flowing....Or i could use a larger ziplock, and a rubberband attached to the bottom of airpot until run off ends

Any better ideas? I'm a neat freak, and my grow space will never have mud/water splashed anywhere for long!

Thanks

Couple new shots, one showing how the venting is done 400 cfm pulling from the DR120 and the DP90 Prop'
