hey marlo - love the vertical modular, i think angling the screens back a bit was a great move - allows for a bit more of a 'natural' growth pattern. one of the best 'canopies' ive seen in a vert grow.

be interested in the final yield

Great Job Showing The People The Possibilities

Always a way to do things different and/or better and this technique solves some major issues for growers
Less Heat - Less Power Consumption - Less Equipment - Less Wasted Space - Frothy Herbs
Great Job

Keep up the qualities

Wsup VG. Thanks bro.
I'm thinking about making some changes to my screen design before I get em going again in the fall. I can get em to move back from the bulb a lil more. Plus I'm going to try and make them work with some 3 gallon airpots I have on the way.

:thank you:. Vert is definitely the way forward imo.

I copied ideas from many grows I've seen online over the past 4 years and try to make things work best in my situation. Everybody does it different and many ways work. I guess that's why I keep changing things. I'm sure I'll copy more ideas from all the great growers out there.
:thank you: Flux!

Everything has been chopped and trimmed. They've been hanging since monday. They're goin in paper bags today, and will hit the jars in a cpl days. :dance013:

Right now there are 14 Sour Diesel IBL's from seed about 30 days old in the room veg'n away. Also 4 Kush o Nesia's from Karma, my lime kush pheno of Sour Bubble, and 4 or 5 more Sour bubbles about 60 days old from seed and a OGxBS #2.

No screens this time. I'm just gonna let em loose in there and do some pheno searching, so the next time I pull out these screens, they'll be filled with only jar stuffing keeper phenos!

i'm liking what you've got planned for next bro. looking forward to a smoke report and the new girls doing thier thing. i really want to see how those kush o nesies work out for ya. heard nothing but great things about karmas gear. ever plan on running galadriel again, or do you even have her still?

Awesome work my man! I decided to rock vertical with some 400s this round because my girls got way too big, so I had to lose the reflectors. I am liking what I am seeing so far. Question for you though, what distance ( on sides of the bulb) do you find optimal to keep plants away from your 400s?

Kudos Marlo, this is just impressive
Can't wait to see your next run with airpots and even larger canopy!

Do you think a 1.2L x 1.2L x 2.40 meter (height) would be okay for 600w? I hate that I don't know the conversions, but I think that is 5x5..

I am doing a 600w vert in exactly 1.2 x 1.2m space and got no problems with a 360 m3/h fan. Temps are around 25-28 lights on and the intake air is just below 20.

HARVEST OVERVIEW

HARVEST OVERVIEW

Everything has been in jars for about 5 days or so. The next round is veg'n away nicely.

This harvest was a successful one, but I still see a whole lot of room for improvement. Some plants had little to no larf, and others had plenty of larf. The overall yield of the room was greater than the last run, with 2 less plants this time. Each run since my 1st vert has had improved results, even when growing from seed. But there were no plants that topped the 3oz mark. Most SFV crosses are low to medium yeilders, so some of these plants could benefit from a longer veg.

The lowest yeild came from OGBS #4 with 32g's and the highest yeild was from SFS #1 with 54g's. Most came in btwn 46 and 51 grams. The total yield was 481 grams of quality grade A bud, about 5 or 6 ounces of larf/trim to make budder with, 400 DSD x Sour Bubble seeds, and about 200 Galadriel x Sour Bubble seeds.
I was hoping and expecting better from some of these plants, but you never know how something is going to perform from seed. At the end of the day, its better than the last run, and I have lots of possible moms to choose from.

I'm not in this for the yield, but it is nice to see how efficient my room can be. 481g from 800w is 0.60gpw. Not bad, but not close to what is possible. I want to continue to raise this # with each grow. The goal is 10 3oz girls. That would put me at 840g's and 1.05gpw. So far I've only hit 3oz with my DSD, so it's a long shot to hit that goal any time soon.

After the jars have some more time to cure, I'll take some dry shots and post smoke reports.

i think if you mono that dsd and dont make seeds you should come damn close to 1 gpw as it stands now...

I think your absolutely right Who.
I just can't bring myself to run a mono crop. I'm thinking 3 DSD, 3 SD IBL, 3 SFS's, and something else for the 10th plant. Maybe one of these Kush o Nesia's if they turn out nice, or some OGBS. I just have to narrow down these SD's and SFS's to 1 winner.

I just transplanted the next round into 1.5 and 3.4 gallon air-pots. These things are big! Very sturdy and well put together. I'm gonna give them an extra week of veg to let some roots set in on the 3 gals. I'm hoping the added root production helps the end product as well. Pics when the lights come back on.

Thanks AW
These were veg'd for 70+ days, but were hacked back a few times so they can fit in the veg area til the flower room opened up. They usually get 10-14 days under the hps before flipping to flower.
I try to lean towards over veg'n just a little bit. Leaves me room to train and hack as I see fit.

I totally understand why yas don`t wanna monocrop Bro since yield`s not your first priority.......

Maybe once yas find the proper mom`s/pheno`s that grow similarly , accept the juice you`re feeding em with no slow downs or speed ups in stretch so canopy can be easier managed without too much hackin and pruning , you`ll approach the 3-4 oz per plant yas deserve from all yer efforts.......

Keep up da faith and killer work Marlo.......You`ll get there.......

Peace....DHF.....:ying:....
