Many Forest Gorillas vs Several Forest and Well Tended Plants

From my understanding the reason for planting where you get the most morning sun exposure is to evaporate morning dew off of plants to avoid fungal and rot issues.

Imho the amount of sunlight hours the plants recieve is much more important than when.

I too would love to see a study done on a bunch of cannabis plants grown in early morning or afternoon sun :)

Morning sun earlier = turning on metabolism early .
Once turned on it stays on . That means gains every day over plants that get sun later in the morning . Cumulative over 60 days ; 1 hour later sun . 60 hours less growth equivalent to a weeks less growth compared to the early sun plants .

Thanks for sharin

EB .

Nope. No stretch yet either. I want seeds so I'm still looking for Colloidal Silver for a couple I have in a similar spot far away. I found some but it's only 10ppm. Would that work?

I ordered a piece of 99.9999% silver jewelery wire off ebay to make my own with a 9v battery (think i spent like $1) Recommended ppm of solution varies from 20ppm-50ppm depending on where you look.

OK. Gonna have to make a decision soon. My stakes aren't holing up anymore. A couple heavy rains and a one fell over and was held up by a pile of branches I put in front of it for camo when they were small. One broken branch so I took it off. But there's still a lot of white hairs. It's been humid beyond belief and raining heavy for a week and I'm surprised I haven't found any mold. But it's time to defoliate so they can breathe or I'm in trouble.

I've found the opposite. I'd much rather have my plants shaded in the morning then in the afternoon. Afternoon patches seem to me to do better.
This goes against conventional farming wisdom. If you're growing apples, vegetables, or whatever, you're always set up to get the early sun. Any book on farming will say the morning sun is much better then afternoon sun.
I've found cannabis to be different. One factor is morning mist and fog. In my area, and on much of the west coast, marine layers will sneak in off the coast at night. It'll burn off anywhere between 8 AM to 2 PM depending on local conditions. Makes a huge difference especially during bud formation.
I think there's more to it then this. Cannabis seems to enjoy heat. I plan my vegetable garden so it gets good morning sun. In the afternoon I find my lettuce, spinach, squash, etc. wilting in the hot sun while the cannabis thrives. Unless it's thirsty.
Which brings it around to a cause I think for morning patches to do better. Afternoon patches use more water. The cooler morning light and afternoon shade is much easier on a thirsty plant then the hot late day sun. As a guerrilla grower I'd definitely keep this in mind when planning my patches.
One other factor is a matter of time. If the sun hits a patch at 7 then is shaded by 1 that's 6 hours. If the sun hits a patch at 10 and is shaded by 5 that's 7 hours. During the long days of summer the sun will linger in the afternoon and early evening.
But this is all subjective I know other people have differing opinions I'd love to see a study done...

It's damn near impossible in my container area to get early morning sun. But I swear I like all the late sun light. But I think plants getting direct sunlight early in the morning have started flowering a few wks earlier than my plants that's getting all the evening sun. That's just some observation I'm noticing with my plants. I'm fine with shaded early and sun afternoon....lol really have to like it now. It's very hard in these hills to get the light you want. I've studied the sun diagram charts and a lot of things and have got my plot pretty good. Being the first time growing on this land I've learned and noticed a ton of things I'm gonna do different nx yr.

Plants are looking awesome man! Are those the chicken manure pile plants?

Nope. These are the NL Auto Fem that are NOT. They're Something Sativa Auto Reg. I lost track of how many males I pulled. It has to be a packaging fuckup. Simply have a little compost in the ground and fed once a week and watered every two days.

Hola Tycho

Get yourself an ac adaptor

they go from 1.5 to 12 volt

and some have a reverse polarity
it prevent from damaging always the
same side of the silver plate

you can easily find 99.9% silver
1 ounce bar get them laminated
to the 1/8 inch thick and get 2 of

them
those laminated should be long enough
to go in a mason jar and come out of
it of 1 or 2 inch so you can attach the

alligator clips.

since you have multiple voltage its easier
to control the size of the silver ion that are

produce if ion are too big or too small its
harder for them to work on the plant.

enjoy

Hola Tycho

I forgot the lingot

don't let the bar touch each other
when they are in the jar and

very very important only use distilled
water and nothing else

Thanks barefrog.
I was going to use silver wire from a jewelry store they use for repairs but it's only 93%.

I found 2 999 ingots. :)

While i was searching for CS instructions, i found
some interesting information on running a slight electric current in the soil to help plants. Has anyone heard of that?

You can save a few bucks on silver by cutting a rectangular 1 oz. ingot in half, lengthwise...

Use a hacksaw to cut it...No need to use 2 ingots...
