What's new

Malawi x PCK

Here are some samples.

The Purple pheno has a grape smell and the green pheno has a grape with slight lemon pungent smell.]

Wow, look at all that beautiful resin....nice job Azure. :tiphat:

I have one in flower too but it has a ways to go. The purple sure is pretty though.

I broke off a small branch while moving it this morning so I'll have a taster soon. I'm hoping she will go another couple weeks but if the weather turns funky I won't wait.

Very interesting plant. I’m currently growing Malawi and PCK along side my Malawi X PCK purple pheno. Reminds me of my PCK structure but with better stretch in flower and much bigger buds. Smell is getting more refined and reminds me of a dark red wine or something. I need get better pics with more natural light. Will be 6 weeks in flower this weekend and I’ll take everything out for a photo shoot. Maybe put them up on the pics thread. I have 6 Ace strains in flower and 2 more in veg. I’m impressed with the openness of this company and thank you for making these genetics available for the community. I know I’m not the only one looking for something different. And thank you for not participating in the ridiculous name game. It’s nice when the name actually means something lol

Love the bright purple with yellow pistils

Excellent job Mountainkush with the Malawi x PCK. :tiphat:

I love the constrast of her purple pigmentation and the green leaves, the foxtailing is really beautiful .... almost obscene heheheh

I really appreciate a lot that you have dedicated time and resources to explore 6 of our strains during these last months.
I'm really curious to know your opinion about them after drying and curing process. Thanks for posting and sharing pics of your great results with us!

Hey Dubi,
It’s been a lot of fun growing these and so far every seed has germed across 7 of your strains and the Lilly I got from your website at the time. Very impressed so far and I still have a lot I want to try out.
Thank you and all at Ace for making it so easy for me to try all these different strains from around the world. Can’t wait to try the cured buds!

These look top shelf, very beautiful buds you got there.
Cheers

Thanks, much appreciated.

This was a fun one to grow. Vaping a sample right now and it’s damn strong. Very relaxing from head to toe with moments of holy shit I’m high. Makes you stop and take a deep breath. Not the most functional but feels amazing. Gonna grab another 3 pack to go with the two I have left for a future grow. Can’t stop smelling the jars.

Hello there,

During my last selection of Malawi x PCK, I finally got a female. I took a cut and already have a mother plant growing for a few weeks.

As I didn't know what to do with the plant from seed, I just put it outside like last week or so under a green house. She was coming from the flower room to confirm sex and it kept flowering outside.

So I was out in the garden this afternoon and looked closer at the early flowers and I think I saw purple/pink in there :)

Dubi, if you're around, does this look like purple phenotype? I know it is probably too early to tell, but maybe this crappy picture is enough for your "used to spot those kind of things" eyes :)

Decided to start another one of these to try for a green one. I’ll be just as happy with another delicious purple pheno though.

Coming along nicely so far and getting some purple tones on the main stem like my last one did. Not much branching yet at 3 week but I topped it after taking this picture so that will change soon.

How did you make out with the girl you put outside? Did it end up turning purple?

Yep she did, and she kept flowering. Very small buds but it didn't get really much love to be honest...

I'm thinking about cutting those main branches so it can reveg because I don't see her growing back like this.

M x Pck fem at 5 weeks veg from seed. Topped twice and is growing out it’s 8 tops currently. Has some purple on the main stems where the branches come out similar to the last one I grew but this one has more space between nodes and thinner/flexible stems more like the Malawi.

Hi BenoitV1984,

Malawi x PCK produces 2 clearly main distinctive phenos regarding color.
One is fully green and the other very colorful so if you are already seeing pigmentation in your female then we can confirm almost for sure that she will be a colorful pheno :)

PD: As confirmed in your next post, she was clearly a purple pheno ehhehehe

Flowering non autoflowering cannabis plants with an increasing photoperiod produces flowers like that,
with much worst flower/leaf ratio and less resins and terpenes due to the plant is increasingly producing growing hormones due to the increasing photoperiod.
You can try to harvest all the flowers, feed her with abundant nitrogen and hopefully she will be still on time to reveg until summer solstice
to produce later in autumn a much more proper flowering process with a decreasing photoperiod.

Looks delicious MuntainKush :yummy:

My 'cup of tea' if i want to have a strong afternoon ride
I love the long lasting and complex sativa/indica effects of Malawi x PCK, with such intense and well defined different stages.

I also rate the terpenes of this F1 as one of the best terpene profiles among our sativa/indica hybrids.

The new seedling seems to be enjoying with the feeding, it doesn't look overfed like the Thai Chi.

Enjoying some of the first one I grew. 3 1/2 months later it still smells like grape juice.

Thanks Dubi
I love this stuff any time of day as long as I don’t have anything important to do.
3 weeks 12/12 and starting to look more purple every day. Great stretch with fairly close node spacing. Can’t wait for this one to start stinking up my tent
My Thai chi was on the same feed as this one but started feeding from a lower EC tank I’m flowering my Lilly’s with and it’s doing better now.
