Malawi Style Cob Curing.

It can be the blink of the eye, however it can also feel like forever.

In youth we fly through, powered primarily by hormones. With some years under your belt, you learn how to make every moment last.....as if there might never be another one, because actually there might not be.

As a youth we only think of "now for me" and never recognize the face of mortality until we have a brush with death like a car accident or a fall. We quickly register that we might not be invincible, but we rarely change because the good old testosterone puts us quickly and blindly back in the race.

Tang puts one in the world of peace and joy. I chewed some Angola Tang the other day and found myself weeping lightly from the joy I was experiencing....no words, no particular reason. It reminded me of great and special acid trips that I had in 1970-1972 where I would sit and weep for joy because the secret of the Universe had been revealed to me. I would write it down hahaha and later look at it with amazement because it was all jibberish....

I want to thank you for helping me to discover the Secret of the Tang. Cobbing is far beyond eating a brownie or edible extract and offers an incredibly different experience once you chew that piece to a pulp and swallow. It never disappoints. It never fails to send me into a better place.

I wouldn't have believed it until I had tried it a few times. Now I, too, am hooked. And yes, I'm a kid again. Thanks brother so much.

Thanks my friend very insightful words and they all ring true. I too have very emotional trips depending on the strain, I cant wait till you get a few different strains under your belt.
My Panama turned into a very powerful monster once cobbed and aged. Where the GT turns into MDMA and is a beautiful trip into bliss. Respect to you my friend.

Very moving words about the journey of life, taken along the scenic route, Madjag, though I confess that through my headphones I was listening to the late "Possum" George Jones, singing that timeless song called "Choices", as I read your observations on how the fabled "Tang" cob style weed opens neural passages previously unknown.

I've had choices
Since they day that I was born
There were voices
That told me right from wrong
If I had listened
No I wouldn't be here today
Living and dying
With the choices I've made

Panama Black cob

Panama Black cob

For those people considering or in the process of making a cob. I can state in all honesty, this cure the hot sweated buds in a car in the full sun.
Is just as strong as the best gear I ever had in Malawi. This 0.2g is a 10hr trip when chewed.
I will not go into details but I have just returned from heaven and some other place that was like a Pirates of the Caribbean movie for the first 3 hours, then deep Opium dreams for an hour then just plane tripping your balls off for the rest of the time. JACKPOT!
I am now hanging out to cure Golden Tiger like this as well as Panama and Swazi. Then every other strong strain I can get my hands on.
The dose on the scales in the pic was what I took, half would have been more than enough and probably still too much its that strong.

Bring on the next harvest I feel I have finally cracked the secret of the chapter five I used to dream about getting in Malawi.
If any of you guys want to push the limits with your harvest the recipe is here.

Its now 8pm in my part of the world, finally finished. Thats near 12 hours, from 0.2 grams chewed. I am going to call this hot cure "chapter five" in memory of the best malawi cobs of my youth.

I belive in cobs... mine here gived some type of narcotic high where your head
spinning, could not walk properly when i smoked her..

gived wife 2 little bits and she was also disorientated with head spinning feeling.

Crazy stuff,thanx so much Tangwena

The purple haze I cobbed has turned out nice. Its now dried into a hard stick and I need to use the grinder to break it up. I haven't been paying much attention to it as I have been smoking on the Malawi I recently harvested and I kind of forgot about it. I didn't cob the malawis but I vacuum sealed them and they have been curing in the hot attic while I have been smoking the jar cured buds.
The purple haze cob is definitely a nice smoke, very mellow and trippy. The high is mostly in the head but you have a little body to it too. Its the sort of high you find yourself reading the same line over and over again trying to make sense of what you are reading, hehe , love it. Too much and it would definitely put you out for the count.

Hi Aphrodisia the buds from the Malawi that you are curing in the attic will be interesting once cured it will give you a good comparison to the same buds jar cured. Once they are dried vac seal or jar them up to age they will be awesome after about 3 months.
The Zamaldelica buds I cured this way are extreme in their effects not scary they make me feel over confident but tripped out at the same time.
Try chewing into dust about .25g of the Purple haze and let us know how you feel about it.

Hi my friend and thats just that particular strain every plant you grow will obviously have a different effect on you, try a speedy sativa and watch the show ha ha.

Hi Tangwena, I hear you on the Malawi and that's what Im hoping for too. Im taking advantage of the late summer we are having here at the moment, its like an oven up there under the roof and I've got a few ounces been curing up there now for a few weeks and they are going to stay there for a few months till I sample them again.
The jar cured buds already have a very nice buzz to them, funny thing though, for a pure sativa I find my eyelids getting very heavy often on this smoke. :)

I found the same, I had a lot of Malawi types when I lived there but never anything like the Ace Malawi. I didn't like the one plant I grew, I know it was only one plant and one pheno. But i didn't find anything I liked in the high.
On the other hand i love The Golden Tiger and Zamaldelica, and they both have the Ace Malawi in them.
for Malawi effects i prefer the old Mulanji gold but I cant get seeds any more unfortunately.
You should find the sweat cured Malawi a lot better, but I still didn't like mine either cobbed or sweated, it was too narcotic for my taste.

Hehe, good thing I do often like a stony buzz. I enjoy just chilling out and distressing while struggling to keep the eyelids up or trying to read stuff on the net till I crash. I got the GT on my to do list too.
