Thank you so much for the info! i have a bunch of really nice buds curing right now im hoping are still moist enough for getting a good cure.... definately have a nice warm spot to sweat them!
not going to be able to post pics right away but i am gong to try doing a large batch too just using the vaccume sealer and heat to mess about curing!

I need to find an edible form that A: i need to be able to create from what is going to be my worse harvest since the 80s. I have lost about 60% to being male in the last couple of weeks. I only have a few confirmed females since i added light to try to veg longer. I was forced into this because all my clones/moms died when i unexpectedly got stuck in the hospital in April. And must meet part B because of that, It must not make me gag when i swallow it...everything in bud-form i have tried just came up. But everything i have tried has just been baked/de-carbed???
I just had to kill an 8 foot male yesterday. If you were facing this how would you experiment? I really want to try this but not screw it up so bad i never try it again.

Well my friend others have managed to do it without screwing it up, if you follow the instructions its very hard to mess up with this method. I no longer smoke and only chew my cob so I can help you on that quest. Any questions fire away you are in safe hands my friend (at least I think so haha)

Well my biggest problem is all my buds are early take male. I waited till a few days before they opened.
Should i try to roll them up into a bud shape to start the cure or should i let them partly dry before rolling into a cob. These males were ripe, some actually drop pollen a couple of days after cutting and are sticky to the fingers. I hoping they will be decent enough to try this on.
How would you change things up to do a male?

Those are not buds my friend, throw that shit away ha ha. You only need a small amount of real buds to make a cob that will last you a whole year. 2oz tops if its good stuff.
Dont tell me you actually get high off of madjut! boy will you be in for a surprise when you get high from a good cob.
i can see you really need my help my friend if you listen carefully i will change your whole life forever.

Would you please try to think what you would do to process them if there was absolutely no other choice...Because i really don't have one.
I have been fighting cancer since Jan 2011. This grow is going to leave me way short. Luckily these males did get sticky. If it snows before Halloween i won't have any buds later either. So i am desperate in trying to process these males into something for my own use.
And if by Madjut, you mean the roasted/decarbed stuff...I don't know if i get high on it...never stays down more than a minute.
I make Green Dragon Tea. Slow cook in everclear, filter, drink. I want to get rid of the alcohol because of health. I will only have about enough for 5-6 months of that. I need to stretch it. This might be my only chance, but only if i can get to work on these males now.

Make some Iso hash with those males or use Everclear to make those males into hash. Soak them like 5 or ten minutes then filter and dry the liquid youl be surprised at how much you can get out of "trash" dry them a week and shake all the pollen away then make the hash pollen won't get you high but can make seeds later if stored. I save my stems from brick weed and it gives a nice piece of hash. I have yet to try this on stuff I grow but I'm sure you'll get some smoke that's stronger than smoking the leaf and male flowers and forget about smoking stems. this is what everyone should do but most throw away the trash, I did not anymore. Theirs a guy in Colorado buying people's weed trash for 25 a pound and he gets the THC out and makes edibles with it.

Ok, I can not smoke any form. I only have one lung.
The Alcohol is causing me extreme issues. I must find something w/o it.
My digestive problems mean that i can't eat enough of the butter forms i have tried.
The baked/decarbed buds and hash i have tried came right back up, so i can't eat that either.
At what point does this vacuum cure release the THC so that it is edible in the final form?

I am about to harvest and think I may give the cob cure a try. At least one anyway until I feel confident in the process. It is an Indica dom strain I will be trying it with.
Hi my friend i did not understand your health issues before I apologize for my answer.
The only way I can think of is if you use the small leaves that have sugar on them and any of the smaller stalks that have resin on them. dry the leaves and stalks, the leaves will dry faster than the stalks but it doesn't matter as the stalks will have moisture left in them.
Dry them until the leaves are soft but not crumbly.
I would then chop them up roughly into short 1" pieces stalks and all.
Then bind them up tight in a corn husk if available, if not then any strong brown paper or card board. Or just leave them loose if you prefer.
Put the chopped up mix in a zip lock bag in a warm/hot space like an attic or any place warm to sweat for 24 hours.
Then vacuum seal the cob or loose mix in a vacuum bag for 2 to 3 weeks in a warm place.
This will cure the leaves and stalks and change their color from green to brown, yellow and orange colors, also any resin present will be matured nicely.
After 2 to 3 weeks dry the result to a smoke able consistency then store the dried product in a vacuum bag until needed.
The resultant product can be chewed until it becomes a powder then spat out and brewed like a tea and drunk. Or simply washed down with a cup of water.
I do get high from chewing bud this way even if I dont swallow the dust.

After about 3 hours i try to get close to couch-lock to get rid of the pain.
Then i take one more dose to put me to sleep.
I count on the HEAVY dosages at night to keep down swelling so i can cope through the day with nothing.
I am trimming away on these males. Only about 1/4 of the way...they take longer than buds it seems like. Making some nice twine pulls as i go. Actually getting some nice sticky fingers...scissor hash like. Smells skunky with some citrus notes...but not defined. That gives me hope this might just work...I so badly need something to go right this year.
You don't want to know how cheep corn is in Colorado this time of year. I picked up some yesterday.
The Ziplock Vacuum bag thing is turning into a problem...i can't find them here. I haven't searched ebay because it might take too long to get here???

In all honesty my situation is of my own creation in making a series of crazy risks. If i would have had just had a few more weeks to clone test my plants it wouldn't have happened. I have to have plants in for my out-door (can't afford good lights) grow by May 1st to make my normal run.
Being in the hospital in mid April left all my clones all dead...looked like a fungus since no-one was airing them. And my PRIZED Blue Cheese mom died. Depending on the average temps this thing would pheno expressions in both indica and sativa...i am REALY hurting from that loss. And my GSC mother was so bad i finally gave up and put her outside to see if i can get a few OZ off of her. She is VERY sad looking and beyond recovery...i tried almost everything.
I think my first plant went out-door around May 10th and the last around the last few days of May.
I add a couple of CFLs to extend hours of veg. untill June 15th and July 1st normally, Being late i pushed this year to July 1st and 15th. 2 grow area are covered in sollexx, so i use two dates to give me time to trim.
If it snows before Halloween, or major deep freeze, i will loose everything...that is the gamble that is still rolling.
These current weather changes make me think i might have lost that one as well???
I do know people, i just didn't have time and was completely broke and couldn't buy anything after i got out of the hospital. They wouldn't let me go because my potassium was 2.8 and you normally die around 3.5 or less. Untill i hit 4, i was a prisoner. It took over a week to get out.

That is what i can't find locally. I have been trying. They closed my local Safeway in June...The rest of the local stores are still messed up from that.

Week in check up. Juicy all the way through before unwrapping got a bit of a sour fermentation smell but upon opening the cobs a nice sweet smell.
They definetly to shrink, I thought I had lost vacuum as it wasn't tight to the cob but I hadn't they had just shrunk a bit...

So I went and thumbed through thread, is it just sampling end product and making changes after the fact for next time as to know how long to sweat it? Or certain signs like the sweet smell? So if they are juicy and smelling sweet do they need to be dried or can I vac em up n toss em back in warm spot another week...
Looks the goods my friend, the sweet smell indicates a nice cure. If I may suggest you rebind one cob tighter and reseal it for another week in a warm place to sweat a bit more.
Dry the second one slowly till its smoke able, then take a piece off to use, and re seal and vac the remainder to age/cure further.
The one that you bind tighter and revac after another week sweating is over, should be also dried slowly, taking a piece to use and then revacuuming it to age/cure further,
That way you will have 2 different types of cob to use and the highs ect will be different as well.
