Major Earthquake In Japan Major Tsunamis

^no offense but that woman with the thing in her face has no clue what she is talking about. lots of large Earth quakes are a suspected symptom of a pole shift happening but The way the lady described what would happen is retarded, and based on fiction only.

No offense to you too, but she is be chosen by the eldest of the native Americans (Maya, Hopi, Sioux etc) to the tell the western world what is coming. She do this in a more spiritual way as a real Shaman, that's why i added 2 links of Susan Joy Rennison who is telling what is coming in a more scientific way as an astrophysicist.
I'm dealing with this sort of information since 1996 when i got a book named what knew the Mayan people which is written in Dutch.

Btw shamans are not retarded, since they still have very old knowledge about the coming event.

The earthquake in Japan is probably caused by sunspots and the effect of the supermoon.

Well the supermoon thing makes a bit of sense but don't know about the sunspot thing but guess due to the increased solar storm activity recently kicking out those massive magnetic waves that wouldn't help.

She said then entire crust would shift completely. She is already proven very wrong by geology. anything based in religion, and not science is not valid in predicting the future. weather it is monotheism, Native American, voodoo, or Scientology it Is all just a flying spaghetti monster to me. Meaning not real. It is ok to be spiritual, but don't plan your life around it, or depend on what these people predict, or you will be severely disappointed.

The sunspots and high out put of the sun is a much more rational theory though.

also nice reference to the shittiest movie ever made, dag.

That reactor situation seems to be turning positive.
Read a report where temps in that reactor were headed down but...
Another nuclear reactor at the Fukushima No. 1 facility in Japan has lost its emergency cooling capacity, according to the Associated Press, bringing to three the number of reactors at that facility to fall prey to Friday's magnitude 8.9 earthquake and tsunami. Added to failure of three reactors at Fukushima No. 2, the count is now six overall.

So far, the only reactor that seems to pose an immediate risk of widespread danger is one of the two shut-down reactors at Fukushima No. 1, also known as Fukushima Daiichi, which was disabled by an explosion overnight that destroyed the building housing the reactor and the backup cooling system.
What a potential mess.

what they were most hoping to avoid has happened.......

IWAKI, Japan – An explosion at a nuclear power station Saturday destroyed a building housing the reactor amid fears that it was close to a disastrous meltdown after being hit by a powerful earthquake and tsunami.

Friday's double disaster, which pulverized Japan's northeastern coast, has left 574 people dead by official count, although local media reports said at least 1,300 people may have been killed.

Tokyo Power Electric Co., the utility that runs the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant, said four workers had suffered fractures and bruises and were being treated at a hospital. A nuclear expert said a meltdown may not pose widespread danger.

Footage on Japanese TV showed that the walls of the reactor's building had crumbled, leaving only a skeletal metal frame standing. Puffs of smoke were spewing out of the plant in Fukushima, 20 miles (30 kilometers) from Iwaki.

"We are now trying to analyze what is behind the explosion," said government spokesman Yukio Edano, stressing that people should quickly evacuate a six-mile (10-kilometer) radius. "We ask everyone to take action to secure safety."

this is the best/only image they've shown of it so far as I know.

Reactors of the BWR/X-type are completely different in their basic construction from the RBMK reactors. There is no way that a BWR-3 (as Fukushima I) could explode in the same way as Chernobyl even if everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. In its current state even more so.

The nuclear facilities are fine, and there will be no need to evacuate Japan or something like that. At most, there will be a small area that will be deemed 'hazardous'. Small area = 5-10 miles. I really hope people aren't concerned about the nuclear facilities as the news TV will definitely focus on that to try and buff their reports.

Edit: really great pics strainhunter.

my friend in the navy says 88,000 are missing. i think its more like a million...
he also says volcanoes will erupt within a few months
and that a typhoon will spread the nuclear fallout across the planet.
he said that on may 21, 2011. shit will go down...

Believe they are mentioning beginning the evacuation of up to 200K people within a 12.5mi radius of the explosion which means they have a real serious situation to battle with . They're forced to vent steam with small amounts of radiation content with no choice or lose the core .

its all improvising from here , serious stuff ...they've resorted to injecting sea water to try cooling it.

I was reading up and interesting the reaction that happens with water and the zirconium rod casings at those temps. They got diesel generator backups failing...jeez. The stainless steel containment vessel is not immune to failure under a worst case scenario. I don't think they even have a clue as to what the extent of the damage is to their systems. Those reactors are offline but long as they can get those cores cooled down they will be kind of OK.

IWAKI, Japan – A partial meltdown was likely under way at a second nuclear reactor, a top Japanese official said Sunday
Some of these reactors are now useless at the least. Depending on what sources you look at 18-35% of Japan's energy needs comes from nuclear and they are down. Considering the damage done and the time to get them back online under normal conditions Japan has some serious short and long term energy production problems. I'm guessing it'll be quite awhile before any of the affected reactors are put back online again.

Remember...the quake that took Christchurch down in New Zealand was a mild aftershock compared to the initial 'big one' that happened months earlier.

Japan has some serious problems and the expected 1,000 'death toll' they initially published is a joke...unfortunately.

Officials declined to say what the temperature was inside the troubled reactor, Unit 1.
Good vibes and thoughts going out to Japan!!!

Embarrassing lol? I thought that was a pretty good summation of what the news was saying. I don't see any nuclear physicists equations in what he's saying haha.

Well, we ended up jumping the gun and came home too early. The 2 strongest waves came in after we got home, and the water was less than a block away from the house... yikes! Lesson learned- wait for the "all clear" to sound.

I'm not so sure about the lunar effect as the cause of this quake, as the moon was only at a quarter full.

"You must spread around reputation before giving it again to Strainhunter."
Great pics dude!

have a question for those smart guys out there...

if they are pumping seawater into fuku 1 (where there has been a partial meltdown) to try and cool it down,is the water coming out contaminated with rads.?
maybe the cooling water is somehow shielded?

just a thunk

The moon had nothing to do with plate tectonics. The pacific plate moved eight feet and the earth shifted its axis.
Dag I'm not an nuclear engineer, but from what I understand the back up power to the cooling pumps is out so they are manually pumping the cooling core,no water is becoming contaminated.

looking for a bright side...
the "cove" at taiji is shut down indefinitely!!!!!
now if we could just hear news that the slaughter plants and all the workers were swept out to sea...
the bastards left all the nets in place so the dolphins could not swim out to sea and allowed them all to be crushed to death between the rocks and the debris.

jeesus i hope every single last one of those motherfuckers dies a horrible death after watching their children be tortured to death just like they have done to millions...

It's the free choice to believe in things is my motto, so you believe in science and i believe more in the info the natives try to tell us and it is us what to do with it.The truth is near if someone of the scientists can explain this what happend after this major earthquake in Japan and if it is still impossible what that nice woman with that thing in their face tried to tell us.

The Earth’s axis has shifted 10 cm and the days become shorter

I studied for a few years history, but i doubt that archeologists can explain this wall painting in India with what they know about history of humankind.

geology is not a proven subject at all,,

there are more anomalous data and unpredicted events within that subject than almost any other (so called) field of science,,,, as well as the fossil record which is full of gigantic anomalies,,

no science can be proven,, only temporarily disproven,,

and science should never be consensus, as it is in our age,, it is now a cult full of left brain fools holding on to their structured thought patterns with everything they have,,

it is a safety blanket that smothers the poor fool that needs it,,

spirituality thousands of years ago encompassed all realms of knowledge,, religion was designed to turn spirituality into nonsensical ceremony and dogma, thus removing any power from it,, the next step in retarding spirituality was science,,,

if people took the time to see what the real scientists were doing between the 1600s and the early's 1900's culminating largely with the work of tesla, they would see more clearly what the real and unseen technology is,, which is mostly waiting to be rolled out on mass in this next century,,
