Great thread! Finally got around to really putting the macro to use and followed some great tips in this thread and from BubbleMan

Shot with a Nikon D200
60mm F/2.8 Macro
SB800 Flash with Diffuser
ISO 100

Most where shot between F/12 and F/16 and the shutter was around 125 on most firings. All of these are of my Blue Satellite 2.2 @ 60 days with seed.

DoobieDuck, Icough2getoff, Maffe and Purceville - GREAT macros:yoinks: Those are amazing shots... Im currently using a VERY cheap loupe handheld in front of my camera (Fuji Finepix 8MP, 3x Optical on Macro setting with forced flash)... Ghetto set-up I know, but Its working out right now... Here are a few of my very first macros...After the first few came out so well...I went a bit Macro crazy...

Enjoy :joint:

Thanks Purceville. I was pretty impressed with the magnification the loupe gave me... Pretty good clarity, thogh it could definitely be better (like yours...lol)

The lady in all the photos is from seed that was given to me by an old grower friend I have lost touch with. Im not sure how he aquired them (I know he collected bagseed, but also had crosses he made of his own). The last time I saw him, he gave me 5 of these beans and said they were purple dank, but no other info. Out of all 5, 3 sprouted, 1 girl... This is her.. I call her "Purple Fox". She started to foxtail at about 8 weeks and turned purple around 9 weeks. Its definitely in the genetics as my old cab she was run in was about 85f lights on/ 75f lights off...so it wasnt cold temps... She took a solid 13 weeks to finish pushing the foxtails to the sky...harvested about 20%Amber 75% cloudy 5% clear...

Havent gotten a Chance to smoke her yet, but the resin coverage was very nice, and the scissor hash from her was vveeeerry good. Put me to sleep:laughing: Im definitely gonna give her a run in my new cab in the winter and see how purple it gets then =) She was slowly purpling on the entire surface of every calyx...I think if I had let her go even longer she would have been solid purple... the leaves stayed green though, even with a 21 day flush...

Thanks Esbe... But nope...no tripod...just my cam on macro setting with a jelwers loupe held in front... Its very hard to keep both the camera and the had holding the loupe still, but its working out ok so far. I do want to get a tripod though, then I think the images would come out much clearer.

Hey Purceville, I cant see your pics... Ive been having a lot of that problem lately...I can usually only see my pics but no-one else's...Anyone else having this problem? Hope it gets fixed soon, I always love your macros!

:joint:

EDIT: I can see em now! Very Nice Purceville... The Snowdog at 200% looks crazy. Just dripping in trichs.
