Are scissors with springs better then regular scissors?
Anyone that uses scissors with springs is a HACK! I used a straight razor and hand hone my blade after each leaf... [/sarcasm]
There is no 'doing it properly'... like growing, there are many ways to do the job, what works for one won't necessarily work for the other. As is evident here market forces dictate the way the cannabis world operates.... in most places in the EU, they barely trim the weed and much of what is on the market couldn't even be sold in the more discerning markets in North America. If buyers won't pay above a certain amount, then producers will cut back on time invested to stay profitable. In BC, for a while it was possible to sell perfect canned flowers by the 1/2 or ounce. Clients were willing to pay that extra amount for flowers that were treated with care and minimally handled post harvest - this did mean bypassing brokers tough and selling direct to the retailer, in most cases.
In Afghanistan and Pakistan, men would look at you as if you were crazy if you were smoking flowers at all, wondering why you were smoking an unrefined, unfinished product (ie- flowers, not resin). One day our markets may reach that point too, when the value of flowers off the hill hits the level where it makes no financial sense to process the flowers any other way- that is already happening in parts of Cali and BC.

TheJointedOne I would love to hear that song.... something they play on KMUD no doubt!
