I cut off a little branch to test-smoke it. :p Would be cool to have weed growing on trees tho.

The test-smoke was fucked up! I wouldn't have thought I'd get baked out of my skull with a really clear up-high from a small side branch a few weeks into flowering.

Thanks mate. I don't have a secret, really. I think I've been somewhat abusive with my plants, and the weather's been horrible, but they seem to grow anyway. Let's just hope I didn't over-nutriate tho, I have a feeling I might have.

And I'm getting more and more worried about having to chop them down at least 1-2 weeks too early (1 September). Let's hope they pick up in bud production these last few weeks.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures.

Everything is going great. My worries about the nutrients are now gone. They seem to like the nutes and have regained a nice, green color. The bud production is slowly picking up. Can't wait til September 1st!

you are doing great Hortic :)

i love autos grown outdoors...
Thanks, shroomyshroom. :)

I do, too. I'm just a bit sad I didn't have enough capital to go all-out with 10x strains. :D Next year, I'll go big.

Btw... I've said I'm going to harvest at September 1st. I will still harvest at least 2/3 of the plants on that date, but I think I will leave a couple of plants for a few weeks, just to see how they handle the colder weather, and to see if anyone notices the plants once the hunting season begins. That way I know until next year if my plants are safe in my one and only spot. If not, I'll have to find a new spot.

Hello guys. Two weeks since my last picture update. I snapped some pictures yesterday while visiting my spot:

The colors are a bit off, I used some weird setting on the phone except for one of the pictures.

The girls have been without water for eight days now, which kind of sucks but there's nothing I can do about that for now. I will water them soon. Everything seems to be going pretty well if I may say so myself. The buds have become a lot bigger the last week, especially all the budsites that were previously only minimal popcorn sites. We have had excellent weather.

I harvested half a plant of medium size to test it.

I probably forgot something. Ask away, comments are great too.

Peace

Me and two friends watered the plants yesterday. When we arrived, they looked horrible. All of the leaves were hanging alongside the stem. They were really thirsty. I hope they will bounce back good. We gave them 22l of water + nutes. I picked off a lot of dead leaves, too.

Been following your tread from start, i don't recall details about the nutes, missed it somehow, i will check latter though. I know of a grow that is exactly like your's only a little behind, probably now starting to flower, So I am basically doing what you are doing.

Are they drinking a lot more water or is it that the rain is not falling? We used mulch for water retention but i want to take that up and simply add soil in between the plants (up till the first branches) reason, i read that the lades drink allot more when flowering and the extra soil may help with keeping them wet..

I bought the wrong nutes. I bought veg nutes instead of bloom nutes, from Advanced Nutrients. It's an A+B mix, the A botttle is NPK 2-0-0 and the other one 1-2-6 or something like that. I am only using half the dose of the A solution and full dose (4ml per litre) of the B bottle.

That grow you mentioned, is there any way you could post some pictures of them? :) That would be cool.

There's been a dry period the last two weeks. I watered the plants 10 days ago. Earlier in the summer we had steady rain, too much actually. I should have mulched the soil, I know... I just didn't know what to use.
Keep up the good work Hortic. It looks like a nice picturesque spot as well.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's quite a beautiful view up there.

20L isn't really much for 400L of dry soil.
I know bro. However that's what I've been giving them pretty much all the time since the transplant. The could probably have used ay least 20l more, but we didn't have time. It's been raining today too, so I think the ladies have gotten the water they so desperately needed.
