Thanks bud. The DOG has been with me for almost 5 years now. It's my plant..we just get on real well together.

I know if I could have gotten my garden in earlier I would have em way bigger.

Next year I'm going to put together hoop houses over each row. It's going to be fantastic.

Would love to see you on large acreage with big planter beds next year...

everyone loves their dog :D ..

hahah hell yeah id love to see what i could do with more space.

those hoop houses are the ticket. minimum veg time before transplant into hoops, sup lighting and a simple gravity fed watering system. big time tea brewer with a solids pumping pump and hose for liquid fert deliveries. one cage to allow basic training and support, then hort the rest of the way.

looking good man, a late September harvest sounds good. hopefully my plants are done by then. early October wouldn't be bad either though.

wow thanks guys!

johnny, right on.

xhashish, i have the strangest looking bugs over here. i dont know what the deal is with the ninja bug.

i also have a resident black widow who chills out in the corner of my garage grow. i havent had the heart to kill her yet, and shes been protecting her egg sac for over a month now. i really need to deal with her. my pops thinks my cohabitation stance with her will backfire on me. i dunno, shes been so mellow in her corner and ive sat trimming my ladies within a foot of her spot, she hasnt once came out and attacked. but i dont think ill like a room full of baby black widows when her egg sac pops. i think ill try to catch her in a quart mason jar and relocate her and her eggs.

ever since i lived in gang ridden korea town, i just have a hard time removing good bugs, which spiders are. a hive of bees set up shop under my floor in my apt in k town. only like once in a blue moon would a bee fly into my place, and only twice was i stung. i thought, wow the ghetto encroached and carpeted this whole area in concrete and even with that, a hive of bees is working hard to pollenate all the flowers and trees. they were like little mini ghetto improvement workers.

then one day some fucker was called in by the management to remove the hive. what a crappy stupid thing to do. all that crap hole area had was gangs and concrete and here these little guys were out there doin their thing to make life better for everyone.

eventually i had to move after i refused to give one of the gang bangers a ciggarette. turned out he was running the peewees (16 year olds) and put a hit on me. its kinda hard to not stick out when ur a 6'3" white boy in that area. plus, what am i gonna do? get on the roof with a sniper rifle?

so i left that poisoned place, where even the bees couldnt do anything to make life better.

and now its hard for me to kill a black widow? lol whats wrong with me.

jay- thanks bro, yeah im looking at this early harvest thing in a much more positive light now. at first i was dumbfounded thinking of all the good july veg time i lost. but hell yeah this will really help to pace my harvest.

brother ganja, ask and you shall recieve....

you just smoke herb and that is OK. Move the black widow. You could just make an environment for it and feed it mice if you want. Then if an asian gangster really wants to fuck with you, you can throw maybe 15 or 20 black widows in his face. game over.

you could fight mad crime like that. but you couldn;t call yourself the black widow... unless you are a tranny. tranny superheros have trouble being taken seriously by asian gangsters. you gotta get real close to throw the spiders in his grill.

nomaad, yeah she looks sad, but only at night.

TG- yeah sounds like a plan, ill feed her the tree rats that are eating my tomatoes and making my dog crazy. oh, i know its confusing, but there arent really asian gangsters in k town in la. i was on a battle ground between ms13 and aztlan 13. aztlan13 is mostly mexican immigrants, and ms13 mostly el salvadorean immigrants. i kept barely missing drive bys on my corner while on my way back from 24 hr fitness. i like working out late at night, completely empty gym, can superset between machines and weights or whatever without any wait. dont like getting shot on my way back home though lol.

Theyre looking great local. When are you hoping the silver buddha will be going into flower? Or are you not too concerned about late finishers?

Keep it up

Peace keke :joint:

Hi LocalHero,

Great job ! This is the garden of my dreams :) The Hindu Kush and the Bull Rider are awesome. What is the lineage of the Bull Rider ?
I'll follow this grow ... can't wait to see them full of colors at the end of flowering.

May the sun be with us OD growers !

thanks guys, glad to have you :D

i dont know what the lineage of bullrider is. i know its a san diego thing, and along with the chem 91 and indoor og im running, are the result a few of the very rare times that i have gotten truly legit cuts.

alright, so the lights finally came on in the garage room (i have the lights running at night so its easier to keep cool)

and here is the black widow, im not a slob btw, the sand you see in the pic is actually zeolite - it absorbs odors. any rippers thinking of paying a visit? look she knows me, she doesnt know you and if you come into her room she will fuck you up lol.

while on the animal topic, went to seaworld with the lady a few days ago. she has to go back home for a year to help her brother so we are doin all the stupid tourist stuff before she goes. damn im gonna miss her.

no, the liger isnt my favorite animal, my favorite animal is the killer whale:
picture.php

and we got to pet a dolphin, or we got to exploit an old beat up dolphin with a cataract in one eye. it was kinda sad, i tossed a fish in the air for her to catch and she missed it :( (they feel like skinless chicken breast, and their flippers are stiff like surfboard fins)

i wasnt sure what to expect going to seaworld. now having been there it feels more like a circus than a zoo. but im sure it helps kids feel like these things are real and not faraway intangible images on tv. so thats good right?

next time you want to go to an oceanographic style museum, try the Monterey Bay Aquarium... its a bit of a drive for you, but its a beautiful part of the coast. The place is about learning rather than spectacle and the institution itself is comitted to oceanographic conservation. Sea World is more of a Disney Style spectacle and is more likely to be exploitative of the animals.
