Let's see and hear about your sick plants!!

I posted this earlier in the harvesting forum and think it might have been better off here.. pretty sure this is a critical mass x silver haze plant. im almost at the end of week 10, 14 from seed. all of the buds below the top 3-4 inches of the plant are covered in milky crystals, red hairs, caluxes swollen up, but it seems as if the very top of the plant doesn't want to mature whatsoeever. Very little crystal production, no red hairs, etc. im thinking it might have been an overdose of heat, light, or nutrients, then again ... I have reason to believe the contrary. And then again, I'm just a silly newb. What say you?

for you, i would say based on what you're saying the tops are too close to the light. raise the light up some. could be you're feeding too much. that plant looks close to finished. you should have stopped feeding by now. if you keep feeding they will just keep making new flowers.

First grow problem

First grow problem

Hi guys, I don't know whats happening, I'm starting to panic a little bit :dunno:

First Indoor Grow on Soil (
Plagron growmix), 20 DP Think different
47 day from start
PH of Water 6,5 - 7.0 (tap water)
Size: about 3 ft
I'm hard on fertilizer as TD can take a lot. Using Plagron power roots, Terra Grow for veg, on last watering I switched to Terra Bloom.

Also, 2 watering back I used calcite lime (
CaCO3) and on last wattering I used epsom salt.

One thing that could go bad is low temperature 55-71
ºF

Is this is magnesium deficiency ?
What can do?? I read that I could spray with epson salt, dont know?

nute burn. your concentrations are too high, mot likely al that calmag you gave. give plain water till the new leaves are green again.

you can, you know your plants better than i do. but me, when i find i've been feeding too much i just use plain water till i see they're hungry again. the food is still in there, no point in adding more till it starts to run out..

Odd leaf formation, wondering if normal or potentially problematic?

Odd leaf formation, wondering if normal or potentially problematic?

Here are some photos of the affected plants, hope the odd, partially formed leaf formation is obvious. Been pHing water every time around 6, have had heat fluctuations tho. Yesterday temp got all the way up to 85, then dropped to 70 when i turned fan back on( had originally turned off outake fan to warm up tent). Wondering if the odd formation could be caused by temp stress? or whether it something due to pests, bacteria, fungus etc.
Any help very much appreciated, want to get my ladies strong and healthy ASAP.

Any ideas on what's eating my plants? Was thinking Broad Mites but haven't found any pics of them eating the leaves like this

both of you are suffering from micro nutrient deficiencies. most likely from a lockout. check your humidity, constant low humidity can cause leaves to dry up like that, they're passing water out right as they get it because it's too hot.

also check your pH to make sure it's not above 7 or below 5. also check how much you're feeding.

micro deficiencies are almost nonexistant. it's never because of a lack of food, it's usually always because of a lockout. either too much food, wrong pH for absorption, or too hot and dry.

Thanks for the tip stihgnobevoli, my problem was pH and humidity. pH problems caused lockout, and once fixed plants bounced back quickly. Humidity was also too low, around 30% and now i have it at 60-70% which in turn led to much happier little ladies :woohoo:

Hello ICer's, I just put my two girls into flower five dad ago and today have noticed some coloration changes. It starts at the top and works it's way down. The original color you can see on the bottom leaves. I grow in living soil. And plan on attempting a fix with alphalpha/kelp tea.

Here's Salome picks

whats the problem? new growth is lighter than old growth. especially when you've just flipped to flower and plants are growing at a fast rate. just keep feeding like you been doing. plants tent to need some extra mag during beginning of flower. might wanna get ahead of it now before the symptoms appear.

Thanks, my first flip. The discoloration came on quick. Like within the past day quick. That's all.

Much respect
