I have this DS under a hortilux 1k but another under Gavita to see what happens lol. Its smelling more roadkill, body odor and losing that sweet. Very very dense. Big round dense nugs that got a bit pointy. I'm going to 70 days just to be sure I get the most out of it. I got this cut from a trade of gg4 for his DS. So, didn't cost me money lol

Looks good, but doesnt look like my star in that example. Im not doubting it. The differences in phenotypical expressions of individual culitvars never ceases to amaze me. Epigenetics is quite the study.

Maybe a few more picture angles, and under normal lighting would help. Seeing the whole plant as well. Its tough to say from one pic of a bud. Nice bud tho!

Long time troller first time poster. Love that this post has been going on for 5 years now. I have, what I was told anyway, to be the death star. It is the picture in Veg growing to be a mommy. The second picture is what I was told Illudium. There is not much on the net about it. There is a reference in this thread on page 16 and 17 in regards to the illudium. A couple instagram posts of people showing illudium buds but that is about it. This picture is 4 weeks in flower on my first run. Very frosty already.

Thank you sir! I'm anxious to get some clones going of the deathstar. The illudium, as you can tell, is an interesting one. Doesn't branch out much and seems to be pretty short and stout. Will make a great plant for a sog. The trichs on it are unbelievable even 5 weeks in. Blows the bubble gum and bubba kush out of the water. Where are ya located smurf?

It seems to be a little behind some of the some of the rest of my stuff when it comes to rooting. I wouldnt say its finicky, just slow, but not a turtle. Other than that, clone it as you would any other cultivar.

She hated my buddies ezcloner, the temps were hard to control,lost a few trays of Ds cuts to slime. She does fine in rooting cubes in a dome, I've gone back to just using domes, I get the highest succes rate of the few options that I've tried

Thanks for the input fellas. I took my first 2 off of her last night. Using rapid rooters in a dome w/heating mat and clonex gel. Have a pretty good success rate with the other 3 strains. I've waited years to get my hands on a legit deathstar so I've been pretty nervous about cutting her. Fingers crossed and acting like I have a couple new born babies for the next couple weeks.
