Thank you for watching the show and as well for the mars hydro fc3000 lights, the tent and the fan and filter. They all done their job great this grow, and it looks like more is possible to achieve with the hardware I have, so I am looking forward to future grows where I hope to keep the plants healthier. This was a great grow, I mean, aside the great results and bud I got in the end, just the act of keeping a garden does wonders for our mind in these trying times.

Now, let's try to make this thread even more helpful for the next generation of newbies that might come and read it. If there are any questions or things that need clearing up, please come and ask it or start the discussion about it.
Feel free to say your thoughts or opinion about it as well, everything helps, maybe it helps me, maybe it helps the guy that will see this while planing a grow.
I will now clean the tent and prepare it for next round. See you guys around soon!

I like the growing as much as the smoking 💚🌿 (and I really like the smoking!) Soul food.

You can see the dust and filth on the middle part of the prefilter cloth, between the orange hangers. This is just from a grow, and with filtered intake..

Yes yes, growroom dust is real!!!
For a time my tent was close to the kitchen and the pre-filter turned into a fat laden something that I could only get clean again using ISO alcohol.
Congrats to the beautiful harvest man and may it cure nicely for you!!!

How are you finding the MH Filters?

Thank you for coming by, man!
The filter did a great job for this grow, I can't tell you nothing yet on how durable they are, but they sure do the job. Anyway, what I love more than the filter is the speed controller for the fan, really smooth, and can make it dead silent if needed. I have a network attached storage device that has a 4 cm fan that is more noisy than the 6 inch fan set up on really low speed. So the fan and filter combo with the speed controller is a really nice combo if someone needs a fan and a filter at a good price. And the speedcontroller is kind of a bonus, given what they cost as a package. And I would advise anyone that has doubts between the 4 and 6 models available from mars hydro to go for the 6 inch one, room for growth if needed and the ability to keep it silent at low speeds makes it better than the 4 inch. Really happy with it so far!

Yea I've always used slightly overdimensioned fans, filters and ducts in my grows because when I dim the fan it then goes almost completely silent while still moving a good amount of air.
Can you say what kind of speed controller they'Re using? A step transformator or a continuous dimmer type with no steps?
I'm asking because I've always used Primaklima fans that were dead silent when I ran them with my vortice external step transformator but then I opted for one of their newer models with built-in speed controller and it was a humming nightmare of a bitch, super loud humming and buzzing, rendeering the otherwise really good fan useless for me as it's just too loud. Let me be precise the noise was not coming from the fan moving air but from the speed controller/dimmer buzzing.
Good the MH is working nicely for you!!!

There is no humming on weird noise. At low speeds you hear the air movement before you hear the fan, and it's all smooth, no steps. I think it's something digital, as it's small size.

That sounds very good and I can't wrap my head around someone who builds in a speed controller that makes more noise than the actual fan and air movement. What were they thinking??
Good to know I'll look into those MH fans now.

Cheers

Hello guys! The curing started a bit and the auto killer cookie has now the best vanilla pudding taste possible. So powerful it covers all the other undertones.
Auto Killer Mandarine has a bit more sativish high, so I like it a bit more. Taste is very fine, like almost woody, or mild roasted coffee, but with frutty and citrus undertones.
this is a bit of a short smoke report, more detailed ones will be in the works soon.
Hope you guys are at least as high as I am right now!

I am still here, brothers and sisters! I just made some nice bubblehash from the trim and some of the popcorn (whatever escaped my hungy-hungry vape!)
noexif_2c606233.jpg
Sorry for the quality, it's just a phone pic.
Also, I did started a new grow, but I am a bit busy at this moment and will share just bits of it once we get to the flowering part.
See you guys and gals soon!

Thank you bro! The stuff is great and makes me high as fk. Has a nice very powerful and long lingering taste of diesel that came out of nowhere, since the cookies or mandarines don't show anything close to that! Processing the material also made it a compact ball of wet fibers and leaves that is easier to compost and takes less space! Making bubble hash is easy, useful and very productive! Everyone should do it!

Thank you! This round will only show itself on the forum later in flower, I got too many things going right now, and a lot of puffing to do, will do some pics tho once there is some nice buds to show.
I am already slowly preparing for the one after this one, and it should be epic I feel I learned a lot during the last year or so, and more so during last months (this grow here shown in this thread, and the new one I am doing now where I changed so many of the mistakes I did last time). I hope to learn even more during this one so I can nail them from now on. Stay tuned! The grows that follow will be a lot different from what I have been doing till now.
Peace and puffs, brothers and sisters!

Just checked on the buds curing in the jars today, the smells are heavenly and a short puff on some mandy told me the curing is going great. Very smooth. So I will try to do the smoke reports sometimes next week.
Very happy with the results, quality is there!

Killer Mandarine (autofem) (Urban Legends) Smoke Report
Following good results I had with other UL autos in my older threads, I decided to grow this nice hybrid. At first my grow had some problems because of bad soil mix and bad ph practices so I wasn't expecting much in terms of quantity of quality, but I must say I was and still am impressed on how much I managed to get them back on track. That tells me they can take a bit of abuse, too. Yeld been around 1.8 gpw, and it took just 3 months to finish. Sweet deal!

# Smoke expansion: [4] (Rate how the smoke expands in the lungs from 1-10 stable-explodes.)

# Smoke test comments:

Taste: Smooth velvety smoke, deep hitter, taste is great. A nice combo of earthy and frutty/earthy taste (taste so complex, in lack of a better description I would put it as a combo of fermented/rotten with grapes, like let's say a bit stale bottle of porto wine, with a peppery lemon lingering aftertaste that sometimes comes through and covers the main notes while puffing.

Effect: A nice balanced hybrid that relaxes you totally and makes you perfectly focused on details. I can feel both a head and a body rush 30 minutes after puffing whole joint. I feel calm and relaxed, cozy, and, I can feel everything around me vibrating. I am very happy and chill. Thought run free and I am very talkative and creative. I would say a great sativa leaning hibrid. Please note that I judged this up to regular standards, and not gone easy on it cause it's an auto. Since I started growing UL autos I can tell you the line between quality when compared to regular photoperiodic strains is slim to none. Certainly a diferent story to the old school autos I grown before that were a bit lacking in many ways.

Thank you for reading, I am really open to any questions or comments!

Thank you as well, man!
Actually, same sample in presented in all pics, a chosen at random bud from the first jar of mandy I found. Just a side top I think, anyway I didn't tried to dig in the jar to find the best I just took first medium size bud I could pick once I opened the jar.
That is why I am saying I am impressed! Can't wait to test the cookies. I could smell that with the jars closed, just as I gone near them.
Cheers!

Very powerful scent, i grinded the 2-3 gram bud on the board and it filled the room with smell.

Final comments: Great indica leaning smoke, good classy taste, fast finishing plant. Nice for a indica leaning hibrid and even more nicer for an auto. Quite easy to grow, compact nugs and good yeld and nice quality even if I kinda neglected them at first. Altrough not a true cookie smell, there's some great frutty starburst aroma in there, and the cedar-vanilla taste is a lot similar to freshly made cookie dough, maybe with a bit of fermented component to it that makes it a bit more classy and rich.
Thank you for reading, I am really open to any questions or comments!
