Been vaping both varieties over the last 2 days, and I must say the taste is similar, a bit more frutty on the mandy, and a bit more floral on the cookie. Its probably just that the smoke partially hides those tastes when combusting it.
Environment at "night". A bit of variation between instant reading (line 1) and 5 minute average (line 3) because I just closed tent door before taking the pic of the controller screen.
Since I lowered MAX. RH (hard limit) and upped MIN. VPD, they are drinking and evaporating over 3.5 liters per hour, close to 4L an hour for most hours, close to or over 3 per hour even night time. This is excluding 5-10% runoff, which happens most hours.
Mid canopy close-up! I am using more than 50% runoff in my new fresh nute solution since a week ago, and I think I managed to re-correct the ratios pretty well, after an initial uncorrected tank I did to see the plant's reaction, so ai know what to add back. Within same week I managed to get them back on track again, they seem as happy as before I started the runoff use tests.
Forgot to mention, 9 weeks from seed +/- 1 day in this pic! P.S. The tops that you see q bit discoloured into the canopy just coming out we could say they did show to the light overnight, that happens daily, new tops coming through!!
Thank you for checking my thread. I figured you missed it so seeing how similar it may be to yours i decided to get you here. Enjoy! I am sure enjoying your thread!
Leaf surface is usually 0.3 to 0.45 degrees lower than the temps you see on the screens. Its so insignifiant that I didnt't input that into the controller, altrough I made a calibration function for it.
My aim is highest energy efficiency. I am as leaninent with controlling environment as the range for good plants allows. I could be crazy about it and keep constant vpd 100% of time. I just chose to use like under 20-30% of the energy needed for that precise environment control and be just good enaugh. My "good enaugh" seems to still be over the standards of many growers, so I think I am good.
Lack of ability to provide nutrients to the plants was my main limiting factor, which I just broke through. This is just a small test. Stay tuned for more!
Later edit: ............. , temp doesn't matter that much. Always think vpd. I can make those bitches drink about the same through all the usable temperature spectrum. I am laughing when someone tells me u need Ir or high temp to get nutrients or water through plants. My plants still get over 2.5 liters of nute solution per hour, with minimal runoff.
